Its a nice place to eat, great ambiance to be right at the airport as well. It's also nice to have a spot on your list of go-tos that's a little off the beaten path and different. This is a nice hometown place with good food. I especially appreciated their Thanksgiving day meal- a fundraiser but also, it spared many people from much work to get their Turkey fix! I wish other restaurants would follow their lead. read more

I can honestly say that my experience there today was my worst ever at a restaurant. At no time did they tell us there may be a delay for any reason. It was 15 minutes before our order was taken, and well over an hour before we were served. My open faced roast beef sandwich was not good. It was barely warm, it took extreme force to even cut the bread and the fries were like thick hard potato chips. I will never go back. Atmosphere only goes so far. Not once did anyone explain the delay. read more

Better service, never got the steak o nion soup i ordered, steak salad i got was so so I got a cup of coffee to go with my dessert and it was undrinkable. Waitress said it probably was sitting in pot for hours. Never 0i 0 got offered a fresh cup. I doubt we'll go back. read more

Went here for Mother's Day buffet. The newspaper said it was $14.95 but when we arrived, it was $24.95 wouldn't have complained too much but half the buffet was empty, not being refilled and cold. due to a couple of dietary restrictions I wasn't really able to eat anything. I said something to the server and was told they were not refilling the buffet. If it was towards the end of service, I would understand, but there was still more than an hour left and people still coming. read more

It's a cool restaurant in that it's right at St Mary's airport. Perfect fly in destination, surrounded by beautiful Alleghany mountains as you're flying in. The restaurant, however fell a little short, but it was still decent. On a Saturday afternoon, there is no breakfast served (I guess I was expecting more of a diner). Breakfast-y foods are only served on Sunday. Expect your typical fried foods; steak and chicken sandwiches, burgers, fried fish, chicken tenders, etc. There are some salads as well. I ordered the steak sandwich that came with melted cheese on top of a garlic infused bread. It was AOK, a little on the salty side and unfortunately they don't ask you how you want it cooked. It is served well, whereas I feel like it would be tasier medium rare. The fries though are delightful. You get a choice of handcut or regular fries and while the regular fries are more crispy, the handcut ones are delightful and fresh. Both are recommended, depending on what you enjoy. Service was pretty prompt and quick. Overall, it's AOK for a bite, although nothing on the menu really sticks out as incredible or exemplary. However, definitely a bonus to be able to watch airplanes go by! (Sadly no one came in while we were eating). read more

I am a pilot and fly to St Marys frequently. Since reopening the restaurant has been good but lately the portions got smaller and the service slower. I guess it depends who is cooking and who is serving since they have different guys working on different days. I will give it another try but if it continues to go downhill I will stop going and will tell fellow pilots to to the same. read more

In from out of town and after reading the Yelp reviews decided to give it a try.. I found myself arriving less than an hour before closing time the bartender was very patient told me I had plenty of time to order I decided to have the Stockyard sreak.. it was amazing, tender, juicy, everything you would want in a steak.. as a side I chose the home cut fries they were both fresh and perfectly cut.. this restaurant is a must especially if you like steak read more

Excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all at a reasonable price. Never crowded, possibly because it's a little off the beaten path. Located virtually adjacent to the St. Mary's airport, we make a point of visiting at least once every trip. Try their crab stuffed shrimp. Avoid corned beef hash. We found this place on YELP. What a great find! Food was delicious. Had the special, 8 oz choice angus, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer and the banana pepper stuffed with sausage. Omg-to die for. Very clean and outdoor seating. Overlooks the municipal airport. Server was courteous and attentive. I live 2 hours away, but would take a Sunday drive sometime to eat here again. Delish-and well done! read more

Wasn't a bad place. The phrase to sum up my experience would be ALL ABOUT THE TOTS. I was dining with a well respected gentleman and who has been here before and without hesitation he ordered the loaded tater tots. I thought nothing of it at the time besides a guy who wants a damn appetizer, pronto. We continued on with our half and half conversation of intelligence and humor and I ordered the roasted red pepper chicken melt. Then, the tots came and he insisted that he ordered them to share because of how good they were. Once my liquid courage reached a nice level, I caved into his peer pressure. "Holy cow!" I thought to myself as I took his word that they were to share continuing to eat half the plate. These tots are amazing. Not that my sandwich was bad, I would highly recommend it; but, I would rather have just ordered those loaded tots than my meal! read more

Food was excellent, great menu choices, and very good service. The spinach artichoke dip is homemade and is a huge portion. Brother had crab stuffed haddock and I had scallops - both were excellent. One of the nicer places to eat. Specials every day of the week along with a full bar. Has a patio over the runway which is grest to sit on in the summer evenings. A little pricier than some places but you get what you pay for. Good food good service and a nice place to eat and drink. read more
