When I first moved here in September 2023, the experience was pleasant. The staff was responsive, the community felt clean, and I had no major issues. But as the property filled up, the management's priorities shifted and not in a good way. Now, the focus seems to be on enforcing low-effort, high-cost policies like towing residents' guests with LITTLE TO NO communication, rather than addressing actual issues that affect daily life--pests (including bee and wasp nests), trash piling up, dog feces in hallways, unclean shared amenities like pool grills, and pet urine in elevators. It's frustrating to see so much effort spent on policies that feel more like revenue grabs than meaningful community standards. Instead of maintaining cleanliness or enforcing trash rules, they focus on punishing parking violations--without warning--leaving residents stuck with the cost. When I was towed, I couldn't afford the fee, and when I asked for help, I was met with a vague, dismissive response. Instead of taking accountability for their faults or shortcomings, the management just repeats vague policy language and has a "that's just the way it is here" type of demeanor. It's disheartening and makes residents feel overlooked. If you're expecting to be accommodated, cared for, or have extenuating circumstances considered--trust me, the leasing office does NOT care. You'll most likely be dismissed with a generic, impersonal message. If you're still considering moving here, make sure to get hard copies of every policy and your full lease up front. DO NOT rely on the resident portal (which is never consistent) or email updates -- because when enforcement happens and you need to reference it, you won't have access to it. At one point, I loved living here. But the lack of compassion, inconsistent enforcement, and disregard for resident experience have made it a place I no longer feel good about calling home.

We lived there twice: first in 2020, during the pandemic, when the community was well maintained, safe, and professionally managed; and again in 2023, after returning to the Windermere/Ocoee area because of that positive experience. At the time, it was still under the same management team. Unfortunately, conditions changed significantly after new management took over about a year and a half ago. Security became a serious concern, with repeated vehicle break-ins and smashed windows. Police reported that more than 30 cars were affected in one night. We saw no effective camera system, and the office was largely unresponsive. Maintenance also declined. The team appeared severely understaffed, and basic issues often took days to address or were never resolved. We experienced a broken air conditioner, water leaks, malfunctioning appliances, and missing packages. Gym equipment was frequently broken and poorly maintained despite repeated reports. We moved out when our lease ended after numerous unresolved requests. Our refrigerator freezer had not worked properly for nearly four months, and even a simple light replacement was ignored. Before moving out, we documented the apartment's condition, including the carpet, which was in good condition with normal wear. It was already old when we moved in and had only been cleaned. Despite this, we were charged for carpet replacement and blinds. We disputed the charges and requested a review under Florida law, but the amount was immediately sent to collections. This review reflects our firsthand experience. We gave the community a second chance, but the current management was a major disappointment. Before signing a lease, compare it with other options in the area.
