Breakfast buffet did not disappoint! Delish!

Clean, luxurious and friendly. Staff was wonderful, very helpful. Breakfast was great! Will definitely come here again.

I usually stay at the Westin Westminster but decided to give this place a try. The exterior, interior and the grounds are well kept and very clean. Plenty of free parking onsite. The lobby is light and bright, and a nice fireplace in the lobby next to the bar. The hotel entrance is secured with key card access after 10 pm (I think). Good sized gym with plenty of equipment, and open 24 hours. There is an indoor lap pool, and an outdoor jacuzzi that closes at 11 pm. If you are a Marriott gold or platinum elite member, there is a lounge that is all the way in the back of the bar and restaurant, that has a happy hour from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm with free hors d'oeuvres . The lounge is stocked with 2 coolers full of water and soft drinks, an AWESOME coffee/expresso/cappuccino machine. The rooms are clean and bright, the beds are plush. Internet is about $10, or free if you are an elite member. The hotel is walking distance to the Target for any grocery shopping, across the street from The Shops at Walnut Creek where you can find a Panera Bread, BJ's Restaurant, and Bonefish Grill. It is also a block away from the Westminster Promenade where you can find Rock Bottom Brewery, AMC Theaters, and Dave & Busters. The hotel management do read the "after stay" surveys and I got a quick response back from the general manager addressing a minor issue. All in all, I would definitely return again!

Holy smokes we had a great time at the Denver Marriott Westminster! We unfortunately stayed a couple doors down at the Springhill Suites the night before and had to abandon our next night reservation because of the ferociously noisy air conditioner - it pulsed and whirred and clanked all night. I think I went psychotic because I was so tired from a long day of flying then working a conference to get woken up by a growling A/C unit (couldn't turn it off, it was too hot and muggy outside). They couldn't fix the unit and were sold out of rooms to move us, so we took a chance on not getting our room charge refunded (we didn't get back until 6) and walked outside to find another place to stay. Anyway, this isn't a review about Springhill, but I want to set the stage. Next door was sold out, so we had low expectations for the Marriott. Nancy Luna greeted us sweetly and listened to our plight. She didn't promise anything, but thought there could be one room that was barely released because someone accidentally booked two rooms but only needed one. After waiting 5 minutes for her to go check with management, she came down the hall with a big smile and two thumbs up! We got a room and not at premium pricing (my husband is a Bonboy member), so it was even better news than expected! Dinner was on our mind, and we anticipated taking an Uber downtown to a favorite restaurant, but had felt beaten up by the day and fiasco next door that we decided to eat on property. Again, wasn't disappointed! Fabian (I hope I remembered his name right) gave us thoughtful suggestions, not the standard upselling or what the chef told him to say to patrons (which is fine, but we appreciated honesty and it paid off!) Everythinf we had was delicious, flavorful, and much better hotel food than we've had in a very long time! Our compliments to the chef! Dinner was such a great experience that we opted for breakfast in the morning. It wasn't as impressive, being a buffet of standard faire plus omelet station. The eggs were wrong somehow (missing ingredients and sliced cheese laid on top instead of shredded sprinkled throughout each bite), but plenty of options plus fresh fruit. And it was ready when we got there, so no waiting. Our room was fresh, clean, quiet, cool (muggy July), and oh so comfortable. Thanks Nancy and Fabian for taking amazing care of these weary travelers! #fansforlife

Brand new Marriott. A very different vibe. Not the conservative Marriott, but a modern and sleek version. I would say this is a Marriott like a W but minus the dark interior. This version of Marriott is much welcomed. Maybe its just a local Denver thing, but the folks here are cheerful and happy. Its a good thing. A modern and sleek marriot with cheerful staff.

The view from our room. Church Ranch Blvd is the street you see. Amazingly quiet for being next to the road!

We had the entire wedding party and family stay here and went through Katheryn. Each step of the process was made super easy and was invited out numerous times to tour the facility before we actually signed the contract. On the day that we made it out to Westminster, Katheryn was off that day but Kelly took care of us that day and gave us the grand tour. Katheryn made the suggestion of making gift bags for the guests that checked in and that was a great idea. It was a conversation piece during everyone's stay. Also a huge shoutout to Brett and Jordan downstairs at Tiller's Kitchen and Bar. On the night of the wedding, they made arrangements to stay open until 2AM since that is the limit for the state of Colorado. We lasted until 1:40AM so almost but not quite! The kitchen staff in the mornings was wonderful as well! Everything from the front desk, to Katheryn and Kelly taking care of everything and finally Brett and Jordan. You guys made this a memorable stay and we look forward to highly recommending this location for any potential guests. Quick Note: You may want to contact Google and Apple because the directions lead you to 7Eleven and make a u-turn at the light and not a left turn!

Restaurant is bright exciting and the food as well as service is great!

I am a life time Platinum Marriott member so I know the chain well. This place is brand new and is running like a jewel. As soon as you walk in people are there to help you and they genuinely want to help. The lobby is nice, clean and fresh and the design has a welcoming feel to it. The bar is large and open and the bartender is very fast and more than capable to knock out anything you desire. The restaurant is great for breakfast and holding a breakfast meeting is something the staff gets and knows how to work around. They are there when you need them and step back while business is being done. There are plenty of restaurants in the area so food is not an issue but feel free to dine in as the food is above what you might think of when you think hotel food. The rooms are perfect and will guaranty a good nights sleep. A great place to stay when you are in this area.

We just stayed at this property while in town for a hockey tournament. It was the chosen team hotel. What a difference a year makes. Last year we were just a few miles away at the Residence Inn, which I hated. This year's trip was much more like it. I don't know how old the Marriott Westminster is, but it feels and looks pretty new, everything is modern and clean and well kept. There is a nice bar/lounge area with fireplaces and good drinks. Our rate included a breakfast buffet every morning and it was always good and hot. We also had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. Get the Brussels sprouts - they're spicy and so good. There are six floors here, we were in 405, which was a "suite" which really only meant that we had robes and a fridge, but the room was pretty small. Our kids had a standard room and our room wasn't really any different than our kids' room, size wise. Still nice though. The staff was helpful and accommodating with everything we needed, except one of the bartenders was not cool at all. She was only cool to the men in the group and rude as hell to the women. (That might work sometimes honey, but some of those men are attached to women and if you're rude to them, it comes back around on your tip. Just be nice to everyone and it's a win/win.) We had a sometimes loud and rowdy group, and spent a fair amount of time playing cards in the M Lounge (concierge lounge) and the staff were always nice to us in there even when we were a little bit loud. I'd be happy to stay at this hotel again in the future and there are plenty of places to eat right across the street, along with a Target and a movie theater. (Try the Asian fusion place called East Moon.)

I was here for a conference and the ballroom they kept us in was beautiful and the bartenders were friendly. The situation that truly made this hotel shine was a unique one. On my last night there, my colleagues and I were walking back from a bar around the corner. We are not familiar with the frozen bodies of water and decided to play with the ice on the pond in front of the hotel. After a few moments of tossing pieces of ice across the pond, one of my rings that is very sentimental to me flew off my finger and across the frozen pond. I was heartbroken and everyone told me there was nothing I could do and that it was a lost cause. The following morning, I told the front desk the situation. They told me they would call maintenance and see if there was anything they could do for me. That's when Rick came out to assess the situation. He was SO kind and understanding as he tried to come up with a solution. When he realized how far out the ring was, he decided to get one of the hotel engineers, Omar, involved. He came out and was every but as kind and pleasant as Rick had been. I had breakfast reservations I was cutting it close to and they told me to go ahead and go enjoy myself while I let them figure the situation out. Once I arrived back to the hotel, the same kind girl that checked me into the hotel was holding my ring beaming at me in excitement. I couldn't believe it!! I still don't know how they did it, but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me with a situation that had nothing to do with the hotel and they could have easily given up on. I am eternally grateful and will always stay here when in the area!!!

Shower: The "rain" style shower head was mounted fairly high and worked well. The manufacturer of the "Nourish" brand shampoo trumpets high-end, luxury products, but goes to great lengths to hide the ingredients; it turns out that the shampoo contains SLS, which many people find drying and rash-inducing. Security: Like most hotels, Drury Plaza is situated in a "transitional space" which invites ne'er-do-wells. The outside is ringed with good lighting and cameras. Inside, the staff is very alert. While I was at the buffet, a non-guest wandered in; it took less than 30 seconds for a manager to redirect the interloper to the door, and numerous staff members materialized and cheerfully greeted everyone in the area (presumably to make sure that everyone belonged). Food: The "Evening Kick-Back" is a full meal. They rotate between three buffet-style menus, but there are enough extras to mix-and-match a wide variety of meals. At the height of a flu outbreak, I saw a lady cough into her hand then handle half a dozen serving utensils...everyone following her picked up a nice dose of virus. First off, we attempted to check in around 3:30 and our room wasn't even ready. We were stuck waiting about 40 minutes in the lobby for our room. Secondly, the cleanliness was below average. The bathroom had hair clippings all over the floor and toilet. The bathroom counter had a fake eyelash next to the soap tray, and there was used floss on the floor under the sink. Lastly, the service at breakfast and the 5:30 kickback was absolutely atrocious. Most of the trays of food were EMPTY. Even at the beginning of the food service. I spent over 30 minutes waiting for the milk to be refilled during breakfast. And items were cold during kickback. Most of our time in the dining area was spent waiting for refills of food. This is was so disappointing and a huge waste of time and money. I will say this Drury Inn is conveniently located near some nice shopping and food. And our room was beautifully spacious. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning to this location.

My wife and I spend 30-40 nights a year in hotel rooms and have been Diamond Members for a while. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have encountered. We checked in late (10:40 PM) after a near 7 hour drive. The check in process went quickly. As we walked to the room, my boys and I immediately smelled cigarette smoke in the stairwell, hallway and in our room. Then, when I set up the sofa bed, we could find no sheets, pillows, or blankets for the pull out bed. When I went downstairs, the night desk attendant told me that housekeeping was closed. He was able to find a mattress cover and a blanket. He told me he would look for a pillow and bring one up to the room. I also noted the cigarette smoke and was told he had smelled it as well "but that there wasn't much he could do about it." I went back to the room. 40 minutes later I was asleep, having borrowed a pillow from my son's bed. In the morning, we discovered the shower had no soap or body wash. In addition, when you pulled up the lever for the tub spout diverter, 1/3 of the water squirted/leaked out of the side, causing the shower pressure to be light. Instead of a towel claw hanger on the back of the bathroom door, there was a knob and a screw (see picture). And the lock on the bathroom door did not work (not fun with 2 teenage boys in the room). When I reported the problems to the front desk that morning (a new woman) informed me that housekeeping and maintenance were not in and she couldn't do anything about those things right now. It was 7:15 AM, we were leaving for the soccer fields. They had just taken both containers of coffee from the station and informed me and others waiting it would be at least 15 minutes before more coffee was brewed (a cardinal sin for parents heading to early morning soccer games). We left and I stopped at Starbucks on the way. When we got back to the hotel at 1:30 PM, I informed the 3rd desk attendant about the problems and he said he would have housekeeping bring up some pillows. He handed me a handful of small body wash bottles and told me they no longer put them in the showers, that they had shampoo and conditioner but that "I had to ask for body wash". Five minutes later he brought pillows up to the room. Walking down the hallways, the light of day revealed just how dirty the hallways were, with dirt and dust meeting the walls by the carpets edge needing to be vacuumed. There were also cuts in the carpet and scratches/scrapes/wallpaper tears in the walls. Sunday morning my boys and I went downstairs for breakfast at 8:30 AM. The toast, bagel, muffin station was nearly empty. When we asked if they were going to put more out, we were told that they didn't usually restock so late. We have stayed in Hampton Inn's before and usually prioritize Hilton. The only thing similar about this place was the sheets on the boy's beds. Everything else from the soaps, to the decor, to the dinginess of the place screamed the facility had been converted from another hotel and the new owners had done as few renovations as possible. What bothered me the most, was the complete lack of customer service and any type of apology. I get that many places are understaffed. But, I haven't experienced such a lack of care or professionalism in many years of traveling for work, for elite traveling soccer league games and tournaments, or for family roadtrips and vacations. The only bright spot is that we were in late Friday night and out Sunday morning, and spent most of our time on the soccer fields and away from the hotel.

To make matters worse, the only place to put you're suitcase is on the bed. I went to the front desk to see if there was a room with a dresser or if I could get a stand. I was told all the rooms are the same and they didn't have suitcase stands. Their solution was to use the narrow table that is against the wall or the air conditioner to put my suitcase on. I pointed out the 3rd party didn't design or furnish the room so blaming them was ridiculous. So I can only suggest using Springhill Suites if you don't have any luggage. Great place for an afternoon delight.
