For Christmas Eve & Day I booked at the Hilton DoubleTree, but through Travelocity; (Do NOT reserve through this online venue!!) While the entrance was lovely even under construction, my desk clerk was delightful, BUT Back to the Travelocity issue, it was and huge ISSUE from the start and for the next coming weeks. Not the Hotel's fault!!! DoubleTree Hilton was perfect for I was severely under the weather, I am terribly allergic to the (Skunk) Pot weed people smoke these days and fell horribly ill, ergo being in the area I booked a TJoes, picked up some healthy food and checked in. Noticing my lovely check in lady was having difficulties, and when asking, she said she would get it straighten, no problem on my side. Service dog and I went to our Queen room, and crashed. Perfect size, nice bed, very comfortable, minor room temperature while facing West, the sun creates more heat ergo I turned the thermostat as low as possible. The downstairs construction did not add any noises, each Guest Agent were extremely polite, the elevators worked great, and the luggage carts were not too difficult to operate given I was severely under the weather; Yet a great place to recover over Christmas eve and day. Then Travelocity cause a greater problem! What I am not sure, this is a warning; "Never use them!!" Check in through Hilton online or some other agent! This has been such a mess causing my Credit Union to come together this week of January 12, 2026 and review all charges and problems Travelocity created. We wish to make sure DoubleTree Hilton were paid correctly. Very comfortable, lovely attendance, they worked their best to overcome a problem which was not theirs. We booked our hotel online thru the Hilton app so that was easy peasy lemon squeezed.. The price was very affordable, we chose the room we wanted and the location was just what we were looking for. I love the fact that we got our keys virtual to check in.. The place was easy to find. I love the fact that the interstate, eateries and shopping is close. When we arrived we were greeted upon entry. Our room was on the 6th floor and we had a corner room which was very nice. The room was clean neatly decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was good this morning. I really loved the cheese omelette and fresh fruit. There was a bit of a variety and everything was fresh and being made to order. The staff was very polite and prompt the dinning area was clean and well stocked. Until next time it was great and we will be back!!! read more

The only good part of this stay was most the staff in the restaurant. I called the day before our stay to ask if they had anything available for birthdays. The conversation was awkward and the person on the phone seemed like maybe they were new. I was put on hold so they could ask. They returned quite a long time later and asked if they could help me. I replied that I was waiting for someone with information about a birthday. "Oh, I forgot we had that conversation" was her reply and she laughed. She said sometimes they could do chocolate covered strawberries. I said that would be great and she asked how many I wanted. I asked the cost and she wasn't sure. She put me on hold again. Came back and said she'd have to have her manager call me. At this point I said nevermind and she told me since she already wrote it down, someone would call me back. I made sure she had my phone number and name. No one ever called me back. When we checked in the next day, we arrived later than expected because our flight delayed landing due to storms. The suite that we paid extra for and already checked into via the app had been given away. Same goes for our friends' room. It took them quite awhile to get us into new rooms which is not what you hope for after a long day of travel delays. When we got into our room, the AC was not cold and the ceiling was discolored with portions of it missing. It honestly looked like it would cave in at any moment. The bathroom did not feel clean; there were sequins / glitter on the floor. The room and bathroom were really dated and felt pretty gross. The saving grace was the following staff that prepared specialty coffee and helped us during breakfast: Maria Gomez, Sandra, Raul Jr., Jeremiah, JJ and Eden. These employees were kind, helpful and pleasant. When we tried to eat dinner at the restaurant, there was only one table seated and we were told there'd be a 30min wait because they were short staffed. When we finally were seated and ordered, they brought me a meal that wasn't mine. When I pointed out it wasn't what I ordered I was asked if I wanted that instead. No, I want what I ordered. When we checked out, the person checking us out was Jolene, the same person I spoke with on the phone the day before our arrival. We had been charged for the room we reserved but didn't get. She told us it was the same price. It wasn't, because we paid extra for this. After a lot of long silences and blank stares she called her manager who said they'd call back after fixing the issue. They called back and she gave us updated paperwork. The issue wasn't fixed. Jolene continued to tell us it was fixed, and we kept showing her that it wasn't. Her manager called back and fixed the issue, but It took us nearly 45minutes to check out. We transferred to the Doubletree by the hotel (on Tower) and it was a night and day experience. read more

Stayed here only 1 night and the bath tub drains so slow when you shower I'm sure it would overflow if staying in longer than 10 minutes. Got a yogurt parfait from the shop and it was warm and curdled like it had been left out for days. Decided to get a turkey and provolone sandwich since I couldn't eat the parfait and it was also at room temperature. This morning at about 8am. This hotel is in a good location and is well-priced, so I stay there two or three times a year while I visit my grandsons. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Just don't be hungry while you're there. The bar is very nice, and the dining menu looks good. Don't be fooled. After numerous tries and numerous food choices, my grands and I have concluded that the food is consistently and indisputable inedible. We have agreed among ourselves to never eat there again, especially when dinner for one adult and two kids runs around $70. We will happily stay there again, but we'll order pizza. read more

Overall, I had a good stay at this Hilton Doubletree in Arvada during July 2021. The property seems to be updated, and I had zero issues with my top floor room area with a king sized bed. One of the benefits of this room was that I went to sleep and awoke with a view of downtown Denver from my bed. The downside of this property? Its in a section of Arvada that has gone really downhill in recent years. In fact, its just "meh." I love being close to residential areas, yet not slightly dumpy residential areas where people don't take care of their property. Just my opinion. However, this property is somewhat close to the interstate. Customer service was a night & day difference. While I thought the customer service from the breakfast crew was outstanding, the front desk did not mirror the same standard. The young, large Hispanic male with glasses was more interested in getting to his offsite appointment than he was checking me in (the digital key was not an option here), which led to no standard information conveyed. This was important, as the standard WiFi access didn't work, and I had to wait a while on the phone just to use a different access altogether. Sucks, but welcome to Covid standards, 2021. Breakfast is on a credit system. For those that usually have the option of using points or free breakfast, Hilton now offers either a $10 or $12 credit towards breakfast. I believe this property offers $12. The breakfast options here are pretty good- nutritious, and filling. Breakfast is within the large bar room area. Overall, not bad. Yet could ve better. read more

Staff is great, building is worn out. The good: I booked this through the Hilton app and appreciated the affordable weekend getaway to be near family. Its decor is current and on brand. the very quiet neighborhood affords safe and easy walking. The staff were genuine, friendly, and helpful. Things were clean. The breakfast buffet ample. You never needed to wait for an elevator even though the hotel was busy with weddings, softball teams, and other guests. Nearby restaurants offered many dinner options. The chef salad I ordered from the hotel for dinner was huge and fresh. The bad: As others have reported the HVAC doesn't work. It was an uncomfortable weekend. Despite maintenance coming to fix it, it was stuffy and hot. The room held a king sized bed but it didn't really fit and was awkwardly placed so you couldn't move about the room and get to the bathroom without turning sideways and sidestepping. A queen bed would've been appropriate. The hotel had a smell to it that used to be common when hotels switched from smoking to non-smoking. A cover-up smell. Not pleasant. When I got home my clothes still smelled strongly of it until washed. On top of the stuffy room it gave me a headache. The outdoor lounge areas had torn and warped floor boards, and either no or thin and partial cushions not the right size or proportions for the furniture. The curtains in the common area by the elevators on my floor were torn. The furniture worn. The staff had to keep explaining that the door handles opened up and not down. The bedspread was threadbare in places as were towels. Overall it gave the feeling of a worn down building that isn't being invested in by ownership at all beyond the superficial branding. Doesn't feel like a Hilton brand. Staff should get a raise for the number of times I heard them dealing with maintenance requests. Even if you can overlook the ownerships failure to invest in regards to looks and feel, the HVAC and the cloying smell make it physically uncomfortable. We got a king suite and stayed for 5 days cost almost 200 a night and during our stay they didn't inform us that their pool would not be in service they wouldn't fix our toilet it almost over flowed 3 or 4 times and all they would do is plunge it, the hot water in the bathroom sink wouldn't work, there were several bugs that had to be killed during our stay, our door handle to get into our room was wiggly and it took us 5 minutes just to get in our room they also didn't mention to me that there was going to be an outside cleaning service cleaning the rooms and we had to make sure everything was put up and we couldn't put our baby on the floor after they were done cause the carpets were wet.... For a Hilton I was very very disappointed.. I've had better stays at cheap $40 motels.... What the heck read more

We stayed at this location for four nights, Monday through Friday. Pros: The common areas are very nice and updated. The staff is great. I did eat breakfast every day and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast is either buffet or you can order off the menu. The buffet is the same thing every day: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, you can make your own waffles. There is a lot of fresh fruit, cereal, and oatmeal and an assortment of juices. This is a great location. There are restaurants close by along with other shops. There are three massage places right across the street. You are 20 minutes from downtown in good traffic and 20 minutes from Boulder. The light rail station is RIGHT next to the hotel. The elevators are plentiful and fast. Cons: this location was updated. What wasn't updated was the air conditioning. We had 4 uncomfortable nights. It wasn't until the 3rd day that we found out the whole building HVAC was out. One of the 2 bathroom lights kept going out and it was not fixed although we asked about it the first day. They had also over booked room types. Our coworkers booked a king size room but had to get a double bed room. Overall, I think this is a great location. I hope if you consider this location, the air conditioning will be fixed by then. read more

Solid 3 star experience for me. Place while clean is pretty outdated for the price. It's all that you would expect from a Double Tree including oh yes their cookies. I have been staying here the last couple week and pretty nice that they have given me the same room. Which has been a very accommodating suite. My review is based on the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff overall was nice, friendly and understanding. The ceiling in my bathroom next to the shower head was leaking & had a strange smell, bugs were found in the drawers, the floor was poorly vacuumed, & the bedding was questionable. Definitely was grossed out. I asked the front desk if it would be possible to change rooms & unfortunately they were fully booked. They were able to accommodate me, which I'm very appreciative for, but for a hotel to be in that condition, not maintained or well cleaned is very disappointing. read more

This is the era where upscale hotels are using the minimalist approach in displaying information as to amenities. This hotel on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being top notch and 3 being average for the brand. Why? Construction in various areas, my deadbolt door lock is in serious need of readjustment ( hard to lock with out using some strength to properly align it). My room is spacious and the overall cleanliness is above average. Yet, no material on housekeeping whether green or otherwise, not pamphlets on close by eateries except at front desk and the long wait time for check in. I can say the grounds, lobby and parking ( bountiful) are well maintained. My point of contacts have been (August) and Day Front Desk Manager ( Danielle) both very helpful in listening to my concerns with the mishap room pre-selection app- recheck in, deadbolt door lock not clasping properly ( security issue), TV on in room upon check in ( strange) construction alert needed in advance due to dust, bathroom sink water stopper not inoperable, ant alert ( bathroom) and other small minor quality control factors. After my discussion with Danielle I am sure many of these issues will be address in accordance with the Hilton Brand. On a very positive note the restaurant (Tree House) during my dinner was amazing (Nick) our serve had loads of energy and was exceptional with good recommendations on options. My tacos were were well seasoned and simply amazing -- but for some quality control issues the restaurant would have been rated five stars. read more

AC doesn't work. Rooms are dirty and things are broken-only1/3 bathroom lights work. It is on the highway and it is very loud. At breakfast we were not offered coffee, tea or water-in fact no one spoke to us after we were seated. If we distance to stay here for a sporting event we 100%would have left and it seems the hotel knows that and gives that amount of effort. It's even the small things like the water in the lobby was already empty by 9 and was never refilled throughout the day and the ice machines on half the floors were broken. The only nice thing I can say is thee front desk staff was always friendly despite the terrible hotel. Would not recommend. read more

Overall pleasant experience at this Doubletree: Pros: - check in was easy, I booked a package thru a third party travel site and had no issues. Was able to check in within 10 minutes of arriving to hotel (first 5 minutes was waiting in lime for my turn). They provided the requisite check-in cookie as well. - clean and tidy bedroom with comfy king size bed as per booking. The iron, ironing board, toiletries, hair dryer were all present and in working order. - good water pressure and sufficient hot water for sink and shower. - strong AC since it was 90+ degrees when I was there. - convenient USB charging ports ldirectly thru side table lamps on each side of the bed. - I was on one of the upper floors at the end of a hallway so although the rooms seemed to be pretty full in that corridor (saw multiple rooms entering/leaving on any given day), I didn't hear sounds carrying over from adjacent rooms or floors. - glad to see they are being more green only provided towel replacements and housekeeping on request. - good location between Denver and Boulder. Loved the proximity to HMart and Tous Le Jours for convenient Asian food and snacks. (Yes the Asian in me coming out here!) Cons: - in-room safe was not closed properly by previous user so it wasn't in useable condition. I didn't have anything particular to put in there so didn't ask to get it looked at, but would hope this would be prevented for other customers. - water pressure for toilet was low. - pillows weren't very supportive/comfortable. They seemed to be down which fluffs up nice, but deflates pretty easily once you sleep on it. - found one bug in the bathroom during a stay of 3 nights. - WiFi could be slower at times. Other: - there was movie night in the dining area/lounge on a Friday and Saturday evenings with a $10pp food/drink min. - breakfast wasn't included in my rate but it was $16 for the buffet although you had to order each item directly due to covid. They also provided a la carte ordering. Covid related: - while I was there the staff was supposed to be wearing masks (according to their front desk), although they didn't mandate customers to wear masks. Most of the staff were kind of following this, some weren't and some were wearing them improperly. I get it the AC was a bit less strong and it's uncomfortable to wear them all day, plus the regulations are different state to state. Basically none of the other guests in the hotel wore masks, which made me uncomfortable, but there wasn't anything I could do aside from wearing my own and standing as far as possible away from other people in the elevators. Coming from NYC where most hotels and commercial properties are still requiring masks, this was a bit of a culture shock to me, but I overheard at least several conversations around how people couldn't wait to get rid of masks while at this hotel and other establishments in the Denver area. I suppose Colorado is just a less mask-friendly, less make-a-small-sacrifice-for-the-greater-good type of state. - each room has a sticker on the door/door frame that certifies the room has been sanitized prior to your arrival and that no other people have entered since then. So when you open the door you are effectively "breaking the seal." - the pool usage was by reservation only, I believe you could make reservations for the following day. read more

If you're like me, and hear "doubletree" you think it must be nice. This location has a nice exterior and the lobby is nice, but as far as a standard room it's run down. The price was not bad, but the rooms were outdated, the door was hard to open, and the toilet was clogged in one of our rooms. The standard hotel breakfast buffet costed $18 otherwise you could order a few other options. Coffee was sometimes free, depending on the server. It wasn't the worst hotel, but not the best either. read more

We are here due to family medical emergency. And when we walked in Victoria was amazing she made sure we were happy w the room we got and a few things came up but she took care of it so perfessional. and I'm extremely glad we stayed here. Pat also just one of the sweetest souls. I have an autism child and The Main Chef went out of his way to make sure my son ate even though it wasn't on the menu. Would honestly post zero stars if I could. I am a diamond honors member and stay in Hiltons about 250-300 nights a year for work. Doubletrees are usually a safe bet as far a quality hotel, but nowhere near the case with this location. I had a 13 night stay here recently, and it was honestly one of the worst Hilton brand hotels I've ever stayed in. 1.) supposedly they had a pipe burst on the roof and as a result they had to run loud humidifiers on every single level for almost the entire length of my stay, which was fun to attempt to fall asleep too. 2.)The last 4 or 5 nights, they completely blocked off the elevator entrance on my level, and I had to take the stairs up and down to my room on the 7th floor. Hauling my bags up and down those stairs with no assistance was especially fun! 3.) during the course of my 2 week stay, they did not service my room ONCE, despite me asking at least 5 times at the front desk for service, and them reassuring me I was "on the list" for cleaning that day. Absolutely unacceptable. 4. The bathrooms are very subpar. Broken/loose floor tiles in room. Water pressure and temperature are very inconsistent and at most times warm water was gone after 2-3 minutes in shower. This hotel may be good in a pinch for a night or 2, but if you are staying in the area for any longer, I HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere, as this place has a ton of physical and customer service issues. read more

Stayed one night in June 28 for last minute road trip. Next day drove across the street to our original hotel- took no more than 20-30 minutes. When I came back our bedding was off and my sons iPad was gone. I asked front desk and they "no record of housekeeping going in". So no one went in my room but all the bedding is off? Okay! I emailed/called manager all weekend and was put on hold, told to go look for it myself, an email saying "sorry I'm looking into this" from management is all I keep getting when I email them. I checked the location on the iPad and it was cleared out within those 30 minutes. Over a month ago and still haven't heard back. The front desk people were rude and didn't help at all. read more

I'd suggest staying in a different hotel if you are in Westminster. Upon arrival air conditioning was broken in our room. The maintenance guy is the one positive from the trip as he showed up quickly to fix it. Other than that - the room was loud as the windows aren't sealed. You could also feel a significant draft coming from them. We booked two rooms and my father in laws room was conjoined to our. One day when opening the door conjoining them, the door handle fell off. They also didn't put a shower curtain in his room and when asked about it, they tried to just hand him one rather than install it. Another odd thing was they had a note to guests about carpet cleaning, and when asked if it would impact our room the concierge said he didn't know. Also Hinton honor guests don't really get any benefits here. If you just need a room, I have to imagine there are better in the area. If you need any amenities, I can't imagine much less than this place. Stay elsewhere. read more

My daughter and I planned for a week to stay at this hotel. We made reservations over the phone and we were told it would be a $50 deposit at check in. When I arrived a young lady started to check me in, after a couple of minutes a much older lady grabbed my id and card and said she would finish the process. She ran my card and said it was declined. I asked how much she was running it for and she replied $227. I asked why so much and she replied with it's a $100 deposit. I told her that we were told $50 on the phone that I was $6 shy from the total. She rolled her eyes at me and said fine I'll do it this time for what you have. She swiped my card and said I really hope you don't have any pending charges on your account. I responded with it's a pre paid account. She said I hope you understand I'm doing you a favor but I'm blocking your account from making any charges. When I asked if that ment we couldn't eat at the restaurant. She got mad canceld my room and said she no longer felt comfortable renting me a room. When I asked for a manager she replied I am the manager. Her name is Kate. I walked out of there feeling like the woman in the movie pretty woman. You know the scene where she walks in to buy a dress and the lady is rude and discriminating. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I would not recommend this location at this time do to there selection of management. I love DoubleTree hotels. They feel like home. My only ask would be that the hallways are vacuumed on the floor. My first impression getting out of the elevator was oh the floor has crumbs all over it. Other than that it was a pleasant stay! read more
