Came here for a business trip and stayed two nights. The hotel is located conveniently in a plaza with a few food options and even retail like TJ Maxx/Home goods, plus Target isn't far away. Check in - was a breeze via the app. The room was clean and pretty spacious. Had a two bed room with a tub. There was a microwave and fridge hidden in a cabinet. The desk is relatively small for if you need to do work. Appreciated that there was housekeeping everyday, didn't expect it! My AC unit was making rumbling noises so I had to keep it off during the duration of the stay in early Spring. It would have been a bit annoying if it were warmer and I would have mentioned something to the hotel. Also the bottom strip of the door was missing so you could see light pouring into the room at night. Other than that, would stay here again! read more

I've become a fan of Courtyard Marriott locations over the past few years. They tend to be affordable, reliably clean and comfortable, and modern. I especially love that you can often check-in via the app and then use your phone as a key, which really speaks to my Millennial soul not wanting to actually interact with anyone. We chose this spot and booked it about 24 hours before our stay as it was the most convenient and affordable as we were passing through the Denver area on our way home to KC from Yellowstone. After spending a week at an air bnb and staying in some other hotels along the way, this spot stood out as our best night's sleep the entire trip. The hotel also boasted a pool for our kiddo, and ultimately was just a really comfortable stop for us. If we are ever passing through again I know we would consider staying here again. read more

Came to Denver with my husband for work, and while he was gone, I decided to have breakfast at the Bistro. Not only was my French toast with strawberries very good, but AJ, the server at the Bistro who took my order was fantastic! AJ was polite, helpful, and we shared a few laughs as well. I think his name tag said "in training", so y'all had better keep him on board! What a great asset, and someone to bring a smile to your face, first thing in the morning. read more

I needed to change the name on a reservation that I booked for a business colleague but couldn't do it without having the ID of my business colleague. I'm sorry, I don't carry around other people's IDs. Furthermore, I couldn't pay for the room and incidentals so that my colleague wouldn't have to pay. Apparently, businesses or anyone else can't pay for other people's rooms. I spoke to three different people: one at the hotel property; one at reservations; and one at customer loyalty. Everyone said, Sorry, can't help you. It's almost like they weren't listening. The customer loyalty said, several times, "You can't check in without a credit card." But I wasn't trying to check in without a credit card. I was trying to pay for everything on a credit card. Since they couldn't help me, I asked for my reservation to be cancelled without charge and the customer loyalty person made it clear, "You will be charged. I'm putting a note I told you, you will be charged. I asked for her to put a note about our conversation and she responded, I can't do such a thing, but I will put I told you, you will be charged. So I went to the Hilton, across the street. They were able to get a room in my colleagues name, along with me paying for room and incidentals within five minutes. While Marriott couldn't do that at all and I took over an hour of my time trying to deal with it. Yay, for Hilton. Give them a 5 star read more

Let me start, with the fact that I am an Elite Marriott member for Marriott (over 100 nights a year, for 20+ years). The good: the hotel is clean, the staff is nice. But ... the bad: no maid service. 3 nights and the room wasn't cleaned once, not even a clean towel, despite requesting twice at the front desk. Left a very bad impression of this hotel. read more

Newer hotel - Nice rooms - Friendly Staff We were in town right before Christmas to visit family nearby and felt welcome at this hotel. It's newer, so the furnishings are up to date and well cared for. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I'm not sure if they weren't very full or if the rooms are well insulated but we didn't hear any of our neighbors except for the heavy stomper above us. The location is great - near restaurants and shopping. We were there during a crazy negative degree cold snap so we didn't venture too far beyond visiting relatives and the immediate area. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not very supportive. All the pillows were the same sort instead of the variety of stiff vs soft you usually get at hotels. The only other issue we had was the short hours at the Starbucks/Bistro. It was never opened when we wanted to grab a meal or coffee. (Food is not complimentary here.) Thankfully, we were near an awesome breakfast place and other eateries. Honestly, its a really nice hotel and when we come back in to town to visit again we will be staying here. read more

I always stay at Courtyard by Marriott and have always appreciated the cleanliness and service. On the surface, this Courtyard was no exception, until I was awakened in the middle of the night by major itching on my finger and chest. I then discovered I had bites from something. M ly husband didn't have any problems so I wasn't sure where the bites came from. The next night I had more bites. on my neck & back and now my husband had bites. They clean every other day here so I thought with the change of bedsheets, I would be ok. Well, No; I have new bites on my stomach and elbow. I suggested they needed to fumigate this room and all I got was, "We'll make a note if that". I 'm not happy with that answer. We weren't originally planning to stay here, but we got transferred here because our Fairfield Marriott at another location was flooded. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and the hotel management even offered the first night stay here for free. The decor in the lobby is very modern, and the rooms are very clean. Customer service is top-notch. The parking lot is large and it is also part of a bigger shopping center. This is very convenient for shopping and meals. read more

Great new hotel North of Denver. It's in a newer area with a lot of retail and dining options, which is great as there is a huge variety. The shopping mall across the road is new and clean, and if you have time to kill in the evenings - it's a great place to walk around. The staff was very friendly and attentive. This hotel has whats most important CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!! We are always worried when traveling how clean our hotel is going to be. This hotel gets 5 stars in clean. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are awesome, showers are huge and I wish the couches were smaller so i could steal one! (So nice) Only reason this place has 4 stars instead 5 is because the walls are paper thin. I could hear every step the people upstairs took. When the neighbors flushed the toilet i thought there was a ghost in my bathroom. Little bit of a light sleeper so that kinda sucked. Besides that great hotel. This hotel really sucks at customer service. I've asked for room service twice because the time they came wasn't a good time and they never came back . I also asked for more coffee a separate time and no one came. There was another incident where I sat at the bar and no one came up to help me, come to find out there only open for happy hour, but I had to walk up to the front desk to find that out after they had already seen me sitting there for 10 minutes . Have to say this place does not know how to show good customer service. The only good thing about this place was that the room was decent. read more

I said it before and I'll say it again there is nothing like a Marriott approved pillow. They have some of the best beds in the game and this place was no exception. Located in the heart of all the shopping and restaurants you could ask for the Courtyard By Marriott Hotel made my trip to Denver so comfortable I can't wait to stay here again. Long after the Restaurants in town stop serving they have an ample snack bar where you can purchase snacks directly to your room bill, the lobby and workspace is sophisticated and sleek and very comfortable including a breakfast bar that serves fresh Starbucks coffee. The pool and spa are clean and comfortable and amazing escape from the chilly Denver wind. The staff was kind courteous and Dare i say attractive. I had a great experience here. There's a Bistro if you want coffee and breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. Stephanie and Sharon at the Bistro are very nice and helpful and make sure your order is what you want. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bathrooms were very nice. The cleaning staff was great. Veronica took great care of our room. There's an indoor swimming pool and coin laundry service. There was a machine there to make change and buy laundry detergent and Bounce. The staff was very cognizant about Covid with cleaning, masks, and social distancing. Masks were not required if one was vaccinated. Hotel is newer. The price is a little on the expensive side for what it is. Our last night we had an issue with the bistro. We had an early morning flight and needed to get to bed early in the evening. So we called down to the bistro to order some dinner. At 8 PM the person told us it would take 20 minutes and she would bring our food to us. An hour later I went down to see what was taking so long, only to find out, she had not even began to make our food. She said "oh I'm sorry I got busy". Funny how she "got busy" with others, but didn't get busy with our order even though we placed it an hour before the other people even showed up. When I pointed this out to her, she said well there's nothing I can do, but I will quickly make your food and bring it to you within 10 minutes. 15 minutes later, I go back down only to find out she hadn't started to make our dinner and again apologized because she "got busy." I booked this place last minute for a 2 night stay and honestly, it's hard to think of anything they could improve on. This is the most conveniently laid out & comfortable room I have ever stayed in. I especially appreciated the effective blackout curtains, the comfy loveseat with ottoman, and the multitude of handy lamps with easy to find switches. Dual nightstands each have their own lamp and charging station with USB port & regular outlet. The bathroom has a huge walk in shower & generous counter space with a handy shelf underneath. So it's easy to keep your stuff tidy & organized. Way to go Marriott! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Heather (Sales Manager) for a company meeting. She was easy to work with. Everything I needed for planning was delivered quickly, she was super friendly and professional and she put herself out there when we needed a quick fix for catering. The hotel was exceptionally clean and nice. Every employee we encountered was incredibly kind and professional. Their meeting room is well sized, even with our group of about 20 (with 4 rounds). Sleeping rooms are nice as well. The hotel is about a year old, so it's updated and fresh. I'm reporting the pricing as inexpensive, but please don't be scared off by that! I recently worked with another nearby property (not Marriott) that is much older, more expensive and we were really not given the high level service we received at Courtyard Marriott Denver North. I highly recommend and will absolutely do business here again whenever possible. read more

Day Manager, hopefully not upper management, evidently skipped the class on " Hospitality " when she did training for her job. Thought I made a reservation there for 4 nights @ $170 a night. Turns out, I only made it for 3. Pretty simple mistake after traveling for two weeks straight. My error. On the day that I was to check out, I was very ill. Had to find Urgent Care and get back to my room to get in bed and recuperate. This woman relentlessly tapped on my door with a very curt admonition that if "You want to stay,I need a credit card. I got out of bed, dressed, and went down to the Front desk. At that point( I had been there 3 nights and they had my card info) I was told that if I wanted to stay, it would be $300. Almost twice their published rate. I was too sick to move so I paid her. No acknowledgement. No Thank you. Handed me my card and walked away. If you value rude, indifferent staff,that could care less about their guests. This is your place. This employee needs to be replaced. Did give them 1 star, because they took the time to send a nice email about leaving my underwear. read more

I stayed here on February 13,14 and 15 2018. Very friendly staff. The food was good to very good but sort of strange, only serving Breakfast and Dinner. (maybe because it mainly caters to business travelers, like me!) The room was well appointed and I liked the large flat screen with internet subscription access. (like Netflix) The bed was too firm for me and the shower drain was slow. Overall, a very good stay! read more
