While I was walking to the restroom, which is located past the kitchen area, I heard a server/bartender we've seen several times before ask the cook, in an obviously annoyed tone, if two people had just arrived. When he said yes, she responded, "Who the fuck!?" The cook then looked directly at me. At that point, I honestly felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave. We decided to stay since my boyfriend had already ordered a beer, but the experience immediately felt different. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience simply because we came in an hour before closing. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. We ordered the beef skewers and a burger. The skewers were okay, but they were not nearly as good as we remembered them being. The burger, however, arrived completely cold. What makes this especially disappointing is that we used to really enjoy coming here. We understand that being close to closing time can be frustrating for a restaurant, but customers should still feel welcomed, especially when they are coming in well before closing and have supported the restaurant in the past. We really hope this was just a bad night, because we genuinely used to love coming here. But after this experience, we unfortunately left feeling very disappointed.

I liked the presentation, with three different sauces and the fries served in a cup. However, the burger was way too salty for my taste, and the bun was too crumbly and kept falling apart. Overall, I had a good experience here, and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful.

I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager there. A restaurant should always have a manager or someone on site empowered to address customer concerns. We agreed to sit at the bar. First we ordered cocktails for $17 each. While they were tasty and refreshing, they had virtually no alcohol. I ordered the Kra Pow and, on the server's recommendation, chose the pork belly. My friend ordered the Pad Ki-Mao with pork belly. After waiting 30-45 minutes for the food, it finally arrived. Mine was dry pieces of pork belly, dry rice, an egg and three cucumber slices, no sauce whatsoever. When I asked for sauce, I was offered soy sauce and hot chili. My friend's noodles were tasty, but she also thought her pork belly was dry. The server, who was also the host and bartender didn't check in on us a single time during our meal. Between the outdated website, unanswered phone, lack of management and service, long wait and underwhelming food and drinks, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Last year on my 10th wedding anniversary, my wife and went out to get a few drinks, eat, and enjoy some live music. I friend of ours suggested The Whining Pig. It turned out to be a great place to have a fun night out. Once you walk in you get a feeling your in the right place. The mood their was so relaxed and friendly. The staff and crowd their were all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The drinks surprised me because they were reasonable and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The food was good and reasonably priced. To top off a great place to spend a special evening, they had a live band that seemed to play all the songs we wanted to hear. We told the bartender it was our anniversary and later to our surprise the band dedicated a song to us. I know that was kinda corny but my wife loved it. This place is awesome, cute wine bar with a great atmosphere, adorable and great service! There are games scattered across the penny-lined bar and the music is on point. They have a great selection of wine and beer (Wonderful glassware and detailed decor) with an amazing happy hour and tasty meat/cheese plate. It's a really nice place to chill. The only downside is, it's a tiny place, basically just a bar with a couple of tiny tables on the side. Parking lot is difficult too, the lot is tiny and hard to navigate especially when it's peak traffic hours. So I wouldn't recommend going with a big group. Although every time I drive by it seems pretty busy. So if you're in town or from out of town and looking for a smaller place to enjoy, try them out and enjoy the drinks, games and laughs. Authentic, genuine, unpretentious and straightforward, it's the kind of small place that is usually featured in stories about towns. Small and compact, it has a cozy feel that invites people to smile and engage the strangers next to them. The staff is knowledgeable about everything they carry and can make easy recommendations for something for any taste. The games on the bar top encourage you to stay for a while. Don't be fooled by the reviews. If you want to watch a bunch of hipsters in their full credit card laden apathetic glory this is the place for you. Horrible bartenders who knew nothing about their product. Horribly slow service. One of the members of my group suspected they were the glorious recipient of food poising from the venue's eats. Comical illusion that you are getting a significant amount of wine by pouring it into a tapered beaker. The only thing I can say positive about the place is they have a decent beer selection...too bad it is kept too warm. read more

It would be most helpful IMO if cans were organized by style, not by brewery. Kind of creates a little chaos in my brain! Events are on a regular basis in addition to hosting food trucks in their paid parking lot (if you don't pay, you will get towed). There's a decent amount of seating, indoor and outdoor but the best is the 'living room' space which is good for groups of ~10-15.
