Very on top of it with timing, service, knowledge of food, etc. I wanted to try the chopped salad everyone raved about. Was offered different choices of protein but we had it the way it was meant to be. Very good! Lots of different textures and flavors. Then we shared their filet with mashed potatoes and charred broccoli. . Hubby and I both said "yummmmy" Finished with the dessert of the night. A Bread pudding with oranges and cherries and something else with vanilla whipped cream and chocolate drizzled. Excellent. Definitely worth the praise on social media.

I mean really, did the chef put any salt and pepper on the flesh side of the salmon or did he/she only season the skin side? For the love of God...put some salt on both sides and please only cook it to medium! Just my two cents! I hope management reads this because I'll be returning to The Gladly with a large group of friends in February and we've selected salmon as one of the choices for our group meal. I hope and pray the fish will be cooked properly with seasoning please! Okay, I'm done talking about the salmon! The Chopped Salad was good and the spinach dip was very good! My spicy margarita was also top notch! However, the salmon left a bad taste in my mouth!

Even waiting outside for our reservation we were having a great time feeling like we were at a 1930's train stop. I heard about this place from my brother, and went a couple of years ago, and could not wait to take my boyfriend here. The service is absolutely PHENOMENAL! They walk you through the menu, the experience, as well as guide you if you're not sure what you want to drink. We ordered several drinks and they were all so creative and fun! My favorite was the tea with the lit lavender "cigarette." It added to the ambiance and overall experience. We also ordered the trip of snacks tray and several other drinks. Although this place is pretty pricey, there is nowhere is like it and it's WELL worth the cost! Get reservations early and don't skip this amazing, creative, and inventive bar!

When we visited, the theme was 1960s Harlem, with jazz music from the era playing in the background and images of Harlem passing by the train windows, creating the illusion that you were traveling through the neighborhood. The cocktails were excellent, especially the dirty martini, which came with their house-marinated olives that were absolutely delicious. It's no surprise this place has been voted one of the 50 Best Bars in the World for two years in a row. If you're in the area, this is definitely a must-try.

Little Woody fulfilled these roles exceptionally. They offer complimentary valet (that accept tip through Venmo or cash). The foods were also tasty. We arrived around 8pm and snagged a booth but by 10pm it was super crowded with a lot of people wearing holiday attire! There were multiple rooms with ample seating, pool, and a DJ! I ordered the $12 Santa's surf shop (Bacardi rum, blue Corso, coconut, lime, pineapple, coconut rim) off their seasonal menu and the $14 Petal & Poise (strawberry infused aviation gin, elderflower liquer, kiwi, fresh lemon, topped with bubbles) off their specialty cocktail menu. We also shared the $13 spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips and pesto chicken flat bread (pesto, roasted chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan). The drinks were sooooo tasty and sweet with all of the flavors blending together well! Overall impressed with the affordability and lively atmosphere at this spot and would definitely be back!

The bar area and seating felt worn down, and there was a strong smell inside that made the space feel a bit unkept. It still has potential as a lively neighborhood spot, but a good cleaning and refresh would make a huge difference. We just drank and I'm not sure they have food. It is located in the cutest area and conveniently near other bars, so it makes for the perfect place to start your night for a little. Service was great and the music was good, as well.

We had a party of 10 and it was so fun. We all had drinks a some people ordered food. Due to party size there was auto gratuity and only 4 cards max. The bar is in the basement of the hotel. When we got there though it wasnt very clear that it was there. We got there a little early but the accommodated us nicely. Originally there was going to be 9 people but I asked day of event if I could bring another person and they said yes. The drinks were so good. Th divine feminine tasted like Jamaica drink with the hibiscus. Then I had the happy birthday Mr. President. Oh. My. God. It didn't even taste like alcohol it tasted like vanilla ice cream I'm so serious. It was delicious. Then I had the siren drink. That one wasn't bad at all. We all had a great time and shared laughs and everything. I love the setting of it though. It's a bit dark so we had to use phone lights to see the menu. But it feels like stepping into a whole new world once you enter. I think it's perfect for hanging out. Date night. Anniversary dinner. All of it. Our server was nice. Very friendly. I think he could use a little more on his hospitality just because sometimes I feel like he didn't know what to say exactly. A little disappointed that there wasn't really anything special for a birthday though. Not even a little card on the table that said happy birthday. Just a thought. Other fine dining establishments I've been in did.

He then confirmed we were still within the happy hour window and offered to bring us a menu. They used to have an extensive happy hour menu featuring several drinks and food items and now their "happy hour menu" consists of a cheeseburger for $22. Not sure that that really constitutes as a happy hour menu... I asked him why they changed the menu and he put up his hands as if to say he's not to blame and said he doesn't have anything to do with those decisions. He said that "management decided to make a few substitutions but they're pretty good" and didn't provide any further elaboration. I ordered the appetizer lamb lollipops which had four small pieces for $25. My friend decided to try the "happy hour" cheeseburger and he said it was good but it did appear a bit overpriced for an average burger with a pretty hefty serving of french fries. I really wasn't impressed by the quality of the food, the portion size, the price, or the service. Unfortunately, I'll be taking Rough Rider off my list of regular places i frequent and restaurants I recommend to others.

It's hard to put into words how great this place is. Have you ever been somewhere when everything…read morejust feels "right, balanced, happy"? That is Farish House. The cozy, intimate comfort of what used to be Coup des Tartes blended seamlessly with the deep, peaceful, gentle "love" you felt from House of Tricks into one calm, warm, easy spot. Farish House is a real, soul-warming experience across the board. The service, care, comfort, ambience, food, value and clear love they put into everything make Farish House our new favorite place. We walked through the front gate, up onto the front porch and inside where we took one of three small tables in the cozy front salon of this soul-warming 1899 French Bistro. *Food: we started with a bottle of Australian Cab. Shockingly good. And not crazy expensive, especially on Thursday when bottles are 30% off, it was an amazing deal. Turns out, the owner, Greg, was in the wine distribution business for several decades, curating wine programs for top Valley restaurants, so he really knows his stuff and their vast wine selection is amazing. We were offered a basket of truffle popcorn, mmm, salty, crunchy, and rich. We ordered the Chef's Selection Charcuterie and Warm Noble Baguette & Marinated Olives to get started. Both were beautifully curated, balanced, and incredibly high quality. The flavors and textures blended perfectly. with cheeses broken from large wheels, rather than cut and sliced, house-made pickled grapes, unique and unusual ingredients, smokey meats, compound butters, just awesome! We then moved into one of the cozy dining rooms and ordered the slow roasted Peposo Short Ribs and fingerling potatoes pan fried in duck fat served with Moroccan spiced aioli. Both were rich, warm and delicious. For dessert, and yes we thought we'd explode from all this food, we ordered a massive slice of bread pudding, some of the best I've ever had, rich, gooey and incredible. Along with that we ordered a beautiful Espresso Martini and an off-menu banana cream martini. Their drinks are not "poured" or mixed here, they're balanced and expertly crafted. This is French Bistro comfort food at its finest and it's unmistakeable. *Service: it just doesn't get better. Everyone working there is "family". And that's how they make you feel; like family, cared for, wanted, welcomed. Service isn't a choreographed masterpiece, no tuxedos, cloths draped over arms, napkins frantically re-folded when you step away, dishes served and cleared in unison. No, it's relaxed, warm, friendly, kind, like being at your grandmothers house and knowing you're surrounded by people who care. Met Greg and Katherine, the owners, and their daughter Alexandra and several other "family" members taking care of us. Their appreciation for your presence is unmistakable. *Ambience: it's just plain comfy, cozy, easy, relaxed, warm, deep, gentle, worn (in a good way), wise, and calm, that's the best I can describe it. Hard wood floors, cozy rooms, soft, warm lighting. It's a non-pretentious, French bistro that feels like the home of a favorite grandma or great aunt living in a warm family cottage in the outskirts of Paris. *Value: it's perfect. It's not ridiculously expensive like Kai, Brinkley's, Cafe Monarch, Christopher's, or French Laundry where you go, "okay, that was fun but we'll only do this very occasionally/rarely and it's probably worth it, but dang that was pricey!" No, Farish House is 100% value to experience, not cheap, but not overpriced, the balance is just right. It's a place you can go often, and we will. Yes, our meal with apps, drinks and dessert, some on happy hour and the Thursday wine special, was around $200. I'd happily say this experience was worth every penny. *Overall: I can't recommend Farish House highly enough. Parking is on the street or in a nearby lot, and that's a downtown thing. There's a small lot in back. The food, ambience, service, quality, and experience were stellar. I wish I could rate them 6 stars instead of just 5. I'll return often and highly recommend Farish House to everyone. I genuinely hope you enjoy as much as we did!
