I'm impressed by how well decorated both LeDu locations are, in unique ways. We got the fried tofu, passion fizz, lychee martini, jungle bird, and my usual pad thai with beef and beansprouts on the side. Passion Fizz: passion fruit, demerera, sparkling wine - sweet, light, refreshing Lychee martini: vodka, lychee, dry vermouth, lime - sweet, strong, lychee flavor is perfect and not overpowering Jungle Bird: spiced rum, campari, pineapple, lime - sweet, deep flavor from the rum Fried tofu: a little dry even with the sauce, a small portion for the price, not my favorite Pad thai: tangy/sweet, packed with flavor, always delicious from LeDu! I arrived about 6:10 pm and was asked if I had a reservation. I explained that we went to the other location only to find it closed and when we called the only number on the website to make a reservation (earlier in the day), no one answered the phone. We called multiple times. The guy at the door informed us the other location had closed and he couldn't seat us until 8 pm unless we wanted to sit at the bar. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager there. A restaurant should always have a manager or someone on site empowered to address customer concerns. We agreed to sit at the bar. First we ordered cocktails for $17 each. While they were tasty and refreshing, they had virtually no alcohol. I ordered the Kra Pow and, on the server's recommendation, chose the pork belly. My friend ordered the Pad Ki-Mao with pork belly. After waiting 30-45 minutes for the food, it finally arrived. Mine was dry pieces of pork belly, dry rice, an egg and three cucumber slices, no sauce whatsoever. When I asked for sauce, I was offered soy sauce and hot chili. My friend's noodles were tasty, but she also thought her pork belly was dry. The server, who was also the host and bartender didn't check in on us a single time during our meal. Between the outdated website, unanswered phone, lack of management and service, long wait and underwhelming food and drinks, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. I expected much more from this place.

I even tried the mushroom taco and loved it and I don't like mushrooms. Well maybe I'm coming around at 46 years young but yeah it's really good. It was quiet as it was Sunday but a few people were playing pool and we just sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender and chef. We exchanged fun places to try and talked about fun recipes. Overall such a wonderful experience.

We've had the cheeseburger, pizza, chicken Parmesan sandwich, fries and tots for food. For drinks we had the Newcomer & Lady Luck. 10/10 on everything, this is genuinely the best cheeseburger in town whether it's plain or as it comes on menu. Gigi has helped us every time we've gone for lunch, and she does an amazing job of making everyone feel like a VIP guest. We will be back, many times, and I'll take more pictures.
