This is very disappointing for a small town coffee shop. After my boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito and it was cold I asked if we could get a new one and they said they couldn't because it was half eaten and then when telling the cook, the cook rolls his eyes with an attitude. All they could do is heat up my half eaten food. My boyfriend didn't want to say something and was trying to get through it because they were busy but the second half was cold too! BUT health code. I saw them put half eaten food back on the grill where they cook everyone else's food. If they did that with mine then they probably have done it with others as well. GROSS!! I'm sorry but it's not my fault you delivered cold food. I should not be getting backlash for your mistake. Everyone had a RBF and followed with terrible attitudes. I will never be coming back due to the terrible customer service. read more

This was our second visit to Stone Lake, but out first time at Whistle Punk. After stopping for breakfast we were disappointed we didn't try it last time we were here. They have an incredible coffee selection, if you are a serious coffee drinker or someone who enjoys coffee with your sugared drinks, they have options for you! I tried the chocolate cranberry mocha and it was great! While they do not have a huge food selection, we were obsessed with their panini burritos. I had the chipotle chicken and my husband did the eggs & bacon. Every bite was great, unlike some burritos the flavors were well mixed throughout, the size was perfect, not so large that you regret it on your morning hike, and incredibly flavorful. We stopped by the next day and I ordered the same panini burrito. Their beer selection looks great as well, we were never there at beer time but we'll definitely go back! I appreciate the walk up window and outdoor seating that shows they are taking COVID seriously as well. This place is a gem and well worth the stop! read more

This is a nice spot for coffee, super welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Walked in and everyone in the place was all smiles, even the little poochie hanging out with its mom n dad! The line was out the door, and they're not slow, it's just that good of a place. The cinnamon roll was the truth!! Wish I would've grabbed the spicy sausage m egg burrito I had to watch someone else eat it. I generally go for a caribou coffee turtle mocha with white chocolate. So I was glad when I saw turtle mocha on the menu. When it was my turn to order, I asked for the 16 oz iced turtle mocha, and my barista says: "would you like white chocolate with that?" That's a brother that knows his coffee and he has such a connection with coffee that it speaks to him, it tells him what the customer needs and wants, trust me! We love Whistle Punk! They are taking great precautions with covid. They ask that you wear a mask and aren't allowing indoor seating. They have food, beer AND coffee! What else do you need!? The employees are always so nice and are great at giving suggestions. You may bring your pup on the patio and they have a large water bowl for them. They sell half growlers which is great if you aren't sure about the beer yet or you just want a little less. Loacted right on hwy 70, they are in the middle of the stone lake area. They have yet to disappoint in any way! read more

Super cute coffee joint - we stopped here on our way out of Hayward for some caffeine. I got a delicious chai latte, and we also picked up some coffee beans and a doggie treat for our furry companion. I ordered a 12oz iced americano with an extra shot... what I got could best be described as yellow water. I think they added a single espresso shot to a cup full of water and added some ice. Couldn't even drink it. They only got 2 stars because they were friendly. read more

This is a new and unique place in Stone lake. Craft beer and coffee shop combined is a bold move in this small vacation town. We came here for breakfast yesterday and today. We were disappointed that in 4th of July weekend a coffee shop doesn't open until 8. We were itching to go there at 6:30 am and patiently waited. Upon arrival we realized they had zero breakfast food ready. You could tell they normally have scones and cinnamon rolls etc and the display case was empty... so we got our coffees and left. Day 2 we decided to give it another shot and got the lay four mini cinnamon rolls and our coffees. The coffee is great and the cinnamon rolls are exquisite!! I don't even like cinnamon rolls but the flaky crust combined with the gooeynees and cinnamon was perfection!!! This place has a lot of potential, they just need more food and longer hours. This is Wisconsin vaca town, people come to eat, so they won't make it if they don't cater to people who want to eat... Really unique inside as well. Lots of potential. I hope I can give them a higher rating next time :) read more

Super cute craft beer / espresso bar. Excellent selection of craft beers, something for everyone's taste. I'm not a "fancy" coffee drinker, but looking at the menu, I'll be back soon to try one! A super addition to the town of Stone Lake. Great coffee and beer. Small section of pastries are delish and when they are gone, they are gone. Owners really know their beer as well. Lost of tastings and things to try out throughout the season. Since the owners all have other jobs, the shop isn't open at 6 nor do they stay open till the wee hours. It isn't that kind of place. But they open early enough and stay open late enough for most folks. And they are certainly friendly enough for all. read more
