Just spent 2 nights at WHI in Wilmington Vermont and we had a great time. On arrival there is plenty of room in the parking lot. Upon entering, everyone greets you and makes you feel welcome. Check in was simple. Our room was a suite, so comfortable with the most comfortable bed. The bathroom was updated. And we had a walkout balcony to sit and enjoy the views, including the sunset! We made our way to the bar for a quick drink and dessert (recommend the cannoli!). The following day we had the included continental breakfast, which had a great variety of offerings. And we had dinner at the on-site restaurant Clara's Cucina italiana. My SO had the chicken parm and I had the pollo milanese- both were delicious. We were staying here to attend "The Original Golf School" at Haystack and I would highly recommend the Inn, it was lovely from start to finish. Thank you WHI!!

Amazing tagliatelle with mushrooms. Sat outside with a bonfire and heaters nearby. A beautiful view of the Green Mountains! We arrived before the color change of Fall, so no crowds-it was wonderful. The staff was hospitable and attentive!

    Love the antique/vintage details.

My friends a Wedding Eve BBQ on a Friday evening at the White House Inn. (This review is based on that event as I didn't stay here.) We drove up the steep driveway from our smaller inn down the road. The grounds are picturesque. You can see views of the rolling hills and the Deerfield Valley. It was such a perfect official first day of fall! There is a Tesla/Electric Car Charging Station, which is convenient. After parking, we headed to the inn for the party. Outside they had the BBQ going and drink stations flowing. The patio and inside dining areas had lots of seating for the guests. The food was good, though the peach cobler tasted a bit soapy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of antique details throughout the inn. They even had giant jenga games throughout the great room. Overall, a good time. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, and are looking for something elegant, but at the same time casual, The White House Inn is a great place. You can't beat the setting.

If you are looking for a hotel for your ski trip to Mount Snow, this inn is the one for sure! This lovely hotel very near to the ski resort just takes 10 mins by car. We have stayed here for a night and it was lovely. Rooms are clean! Great complimentary breakfast, nice and friendly staff! I would definitely recommend staying at White House Inn. We haven't had a chance to have dinner here but I am pretty sure that it would be so tasty as their breakfast.

Chef Liz made truly delicious meals for us - from our wedding dinner, to brunch the next day, to packed lunches to bring out to the reservoir.

There's nothing I love more than quaint and cozy B&B. It was a great location near 2 great…read morerestaurants that you must go to (Sawmill and 1846 Oyster Bar and Tavern ) and 3 miles from Mount Snow. When you first walk in there a the smell of pine trees and warm fireplace. Ariiane and Scott were very welcoming. We stayed in the Evergreen room which had a fireplace in the room and jetted tub which was much needed after a day of skiing. My only complaint was the pillows were not so comfortable. They had complementary bottled water cookies and coffee in the room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good and their dog Josie greeted us daily. We loved it and we'll be back soon!!

The attention to detail in the room and the Inn made for a nice relaxing weekend. The room had a jetted tub, fireplace, outside private deck and super comfy bed. The linens and pillows were soft like clouds. The personal touches like the robes or make-up face cloths were those little unexpected things you appreciate. The owners Ariana and Scott were so gracious and accommodating. Josie their pup was friendly especially during breakfast. :) I have food restrictions and they were able to accommodate all of them. The breakfast was delicious homemade everything...cinnamon chips scones, omelets, bacon, coffee and tea etc. YUM!! Did I say how immaculate the room and common areas in the Inn? By far the cleanest and most organized B&B I've ever stayed at and I have been to a lot. The location is perfect for people wanting adventure or just a nice relaxing day or both. We took advantage of the location and went on a 5 mile hike which was wonderful. We relaxed with a bottle of wine and a nice hot bath after the hike. It was perfect. We highly recommend staying here and will be coming back for a few nights next time because we enjoyed it so much. Thank you Ariana and Scott for making my birthday weekend so special.
