Went to White Sheep for an impromptu bite with a friend, and overall it was a decent experience with a few mixed feelings. The space itself is nice very open and spacious. It has an upscale barn style feel to it with mostly tables, a few booths, and a bakery section in the middle featuring different pastries and sweet treats you can order. The peach mimosa was honestly one of the best mimosas I've ever had. They serve it in a decent sized glass, and it comes with a peach ring at the bottom, which was such a fun and delicious touch. I ordered the chilaquiles, and my friend got the chicken Caesar salad. We were seated right away, the service was friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, my first order of chilaquiles had a hair in it (circled in photo). Another waitress noticed my reaction right away and checked on me, then my server apologized and had the dish remade immediately. I appreciated that they corrected it, and the replacement food was actually really good (after close inspection), but I do wish there had been some sort of gesture for the inconvenience, especially since I had to wait again for my meal and was honestly pretty grossed out. Once the new plate came out, the food itself was flavorful and enjoyable. My friend also really liked her Caesar salad, though she wished there was a shrimp option available. So I visited White Sheep because my mother wanted to go there for her birthday. No problem, Mother. My mother ordered the All American hash bowl and coffee. I ordered a bunch of sides to sample which consisted of: turkey bacon, turkey sausage, roasted potatoes, sourdough toast, and a Hibiscus Passionfruit Refresher My mother loved her bowl, she finished everything and said she would love to visit White Sheep again! I had a taste of it, and I feel the same way about the bowl. My food was tasty indeed. Very good turkey sausage patties ( you get 3 with an order), very good turkey bacon, the roasted potatoes were divine, and the Hibiscus Passionfruit Refresher is delicious. Service was good. I did have three issues: No birthday celebration at this establishment. (You mean to tell me you can't put a lit candle on a donut on the house?) No butter on toast (At $3 for two slices it should be!) A few of roasted potatoes were not cooked all the way through. I've had my eye on this place for years, maybe 5, which is when I moved to the area. I don't live nearby, but we came today as a group. First of all, they have a couple of rules. You can't be seated until your ENTIRE group arrives. And if the restaurant is super full, you have a 90 minute time limit. Totally understand, I know how breakfast spots can be. Their iced drinks are huge, everyone said they were good. The food is good, nothing too special, but my portobello bagel sandwich was really delicious. Their roasted potatoes are extremely bland. I'm sorry, but the coffee was not good at all. Very light, looks almost like tea as it's pouring. The cream comes in the little cups, just not my thing when it comes to a nice breakfast. Donuts were good and the vibe/seating area is really nice. Service was a bit slow today. I had to call the waitress for more coffee. Overall it's a nice place to eat breakfast. First timer - have been wanting to try this place for the longest and it didn't disappoint. The staff were so nice and attentive. I started with the salted caramel latte and it was perfection (as someone who likes a little coffee with their sugar). I wanted to try everything but since it was my 1st time just went with a standard 2 egg breakfast, which one really can't get wrong, and the White Sheep definitely didn't. Everything was cooked well and potatoes were really really good. The pancakes are pretty large so providing one as a side is actually so much better than 2 or 3 cakes. My mom had the steak and eggs and that serving size was so generous with the prefect cook. Well worth the price, imo. We LOVED this place and will be visiting again. Additionally, my mom had a to go box which she accidentally left behind which we didn't realize until after we left. White Sheep takes on the classic magnolia brunch style that the area needs. This spot has been in the Orland Park area for some time now and I'm happy I was finally able to make it in. The inside is quite large with a donut & coffee counter by the front entry, plenty of seating for all group sizes, open kitchen, and fun sheep decor. Overall, the acoustics weren't the best as the space got pretty loud. I started with the White Sheep Latte (one of their more popular) and thought it was good. It came out very hot and I ended up taking half of it to go which was nice they offered that. For food, I got the Biscuits & Gravy which comes with a side. Only the Roasted Potatoes & French Fries are offered as a side without an upcharge. It'd be nice to include something else like their fruit cup for no additional charge. My husband got the Southwest Omelet which also came with a side choice and carb choice (toast, pancakes, donut for upcharge). Our meals were good overall and come out of the kitchen rather quickly. Our server, Jessica, seemed a bit flustered with the breakfast crowd but remained cheerful, polite, and attentive. Pricing was fair for what we ordered and the menu had a good variety of options. This place is SO GOOD! Wish it was down the street from me cause this would be a brunch staple. The food, the latte, the spirits, the customer service - 10/10! I want to take my parents here next time so they can experience this great spot. I came with two girlfriends (one had been before and us 2 hadn't). Their cookie butter latte man I wish I could get this at a local coffee shop before a long day of work - I just KNOW my day would start off great lol. Their steak hash bowl was exactly what I wanted - I would recommend giving a big plate underneath the skillet because it's hard to mix things up in it. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere, and while smiling and happy at the end, the waitress (Dominique per the receipt) was pretty rude, reducing our experience. Wow! From the staff to the food, everything was outstanding. Housemade cold brew was smooth and vibrant. The all American had bowl came in a perfect portion cast iron with plenty of meat and veggies. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, so soft. I subbed for the cinnamon pecan donut and it was amazing. Yeast based so it was nice and fluffy like a pillow. We just tried the NEW Naperville location and loved the vibes! It was very hip and reminded us of brunch spots in Chicago. Mixing old fashioned with modern decor, the interior was very posh and complete with a pastry display and full coffee bar! The food here was good, the coffee was great l, but the star of The White Sheep is the donuts. Giant, fluffy, perfect donuts. We indulged in a classic chocolate frosting with sprinkles, but there were some excellent choices and I can't wait to go back for these treats. Adding a donut to your meal instead of pancakes/toast was only a $1 up charge which is so worth it. Looking at the menu, it seemed like there were a lot of up charge options, but at the end of the meal, our brunch was about the same as it would have been at any other chain brunch places in the area (I'm thinking like Honey Jam cafe or First Watch). We also had great service with a friendly staff and food and check delivered promptly! This was important for us since we brought a baby along and timeliness is key once we start nearing nap time. Looking forward to going back for more donuts and also trying their French toast- an indulgent $5 up charge as a side or you can get it on its own. Recently visited White sheep and was not overly impressed. While the restaurant is large, spacious and has a nice ambiance, the food was underwhelming. The chicken and waffles consisted of chicken thighs into more of a sandwich that was fairly bland, the house salad only had tomatoes and lettuce and the biscuit and gravy was pretty good but it a large portion and definitely sharable. A few nuances to know is if you don't like your meal they will charge you to make something else and if you come with a group, they do not give individual bills. This has usually been my go-to breakfast spot, and I've always enjoyed the Steak & Hash Bowl, but my most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered two Steak & Hash Bowls and two orange juices for takeout. While the food was ready when I arrived, the juices were not. I was told they would be out shortly, but after waiting about 10 minutes, I had to ask again. I added a donut to my order, and although the hostess said she would check on the juices, she returned without an update. After another 5 minutes, I asked the bartender directly and finally received the juices, though she seemed unsure about the order. The food itself was also a letdown. The steak was overcooked with a liver-like taste, and most of the potatoes were hard and undercooked--far below the quality I've come to expect. I called the restaurant to speak with a manager, but instead of addressing my concerns or taking my contact information for a manager at first, the hostesses appeared to joke around playing phone tag. Eventually my info was taken after being told the manager was busy. The restaurant was busy so I understood that part. I understand that mistakes happen, but the delays, poor food quality, and lack of professionalism made this experience hard to overlook. I hope management addresses these issues, as I've always enjoyed this place and would like to return. read more

Good amount of food, flavor was excellent. I ordered the ciabatta sandwich which was a little messy and challenging to eat, but good. I missed out on the hash brown dishes offered. I was super excited to finally go to The White Sheep as a part of my own personal brunch challenge. The interior of The White Sheep was much larger than I was expecting, and there's an outdoor patio area too. Somewhat disappointed in their very limited Gluten free choices, literally 3 menu items were gluten free. Everything is cooked in a "butter flavored" oil . You could choose the olive oil spray for your omelet, but everything in the omelet is already sautéed in the "butter substitute". Food is average a best and way over priced. First time at White Sheep, met my nieces there for "brunch". Our server Bailey was so sweet and she had the patience of a saint. One of my nieces had a ton of questions and substitution requests and Bailey answered all of her questions and accommodated as many of her requests as she possibly could while also giving great recommendations. First and foremost the donuts, I mean c'mon! They are huge and the texture is amazing. The crème brûlée was amazing as well as the Nutella filled, decadent but delicious. I also had an omelet which was huge and filled with veggies and the roasted potatoes were seasoned well and super tender. The prices are a little high, but the quality was there. Also our waitress was nice but at times hard to find considering it wasn't very crowded and they a lot of staff standing around.
