White Sheep takes on the classic magnolia brunch style that the area needs. This spot has been in the Orland Park area for some time now and I'm happy I was finally able to make it in. The inside is quite large with a donut & coffee counter by the front entry, plenty of seating for all group sizes, open kitchen, and fun sheep decor. Overall, the acoustics weren't the best as the space got pretty loud. I started with the White Sheep Latte (one of their more popular) and thought it was good. It came out very hot and I ended up taking half of it to go which was nice they offered that. For food, I got the Biscuits & Gravy which comes with a side. Only the Roasted Potatoes & French Fries are offered as a side without an upcharge. It'd be nice to include something else like their fruit cup for no additional charge. My husband got the Southwest Omelet which also came with a side choice and carb choice (toast, pancakes, donut for upcharge). Our meals were good overall and come out of the kitchen rather quickly. Our server, Jessica, seemed a bit flustered with the breakfast crowd but remained cheerful, polite, and attentive. Pricing was fair for what we ordered and the menu had a good variety of options. Pro Tip: Join the waitlist ahead of time off their website to avoid long wait times.

Wow! From the staff to the food, everything was outstanding. Housemade cold brew was smooth and vibrant. The all American had bowl came in a perfect portion cast iron with plenty of meat and veggies. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, so soft. I subbed for the cinnamon pecan donut and it was amazing. Yeast based so it was nice and fluffy like a pillow. The owner was nice enough to give us each a free donut. The salted caramel pretzel donut was delicious! Definitely worth a stop in when you're in the orland area!

This place is SO GOOD! Wish it was down the street from me cause this would be a brunch staple. The food, the latte, the spirits, the customer service - 10/10! I want to take my parents here next time so they can experience this great spot. I came with two girlfriends (one had been before and us 2 hadn't). Their cookie butter latte man I wish I could get this at a local coffee shop before a long day of work - I just KNOW my day would start off great lol. Their steak hash bowl was exactly what I wanted - I would recommend giving a big plate underneath the skillet because it's hard to mix things up in it. I also tried their spiked refresher - strawberry ginger (if you know me you know I love me some ginger beer) and that drink was everything I wanted! I'll be back!

The service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. All the hustle and bustle of a brunch place with lively conversations. The first dish was an omelette with just bacon side of potatoes and toast. The potatoes were nicely seasoned and cooked. The omelette was great. The second dish was eggs, eggs and more eggs. It's like a traditional breakfast. It was good. The third dish was the all American hash bowl. Favorite go to! Everything in one dish. Eggs, potatoes, the meats. The hibiscus passionfruit refresher is good just a tad too sweet for me. My favorite part was the Papa don't peach mimosa. Great flavors ! Must try!

The chocolate frosted donut- so good!

We just tried the NEW Naperville location and loved the vibes! It was very hip and reminded us of brunch spots in Chicago. Mixing old fashioned with modern decor, the interior was very posh and complete with a pastry display and full coffee bar! The food here was good, the coffee was great l, but the star of The White Sheep is the donuts. Giant, fluffy, perfect donuts. We indulged in a classic chocolate frosting with sprinkles, but there were some excellent choices and I can't wait to go back for these treats. Adding a donut to your meal instead of pancakes/toast was only a $1 up charge which is so worth it. Looking at the menu, it seemed like there were a lot of up charge options, but at the end of the meal, our brunch was about the same as it would have been at any other chain brunch places in the area (I'm thinking like Honey Jam cafe or First Watch). We also had great service with a friendly staff and food and check delivered promptly! This was important for us since we brought a baby along and timeliness is key once we start nearing nap time. Looking forward to going back for more donuts and also trying their French toast- an indulgent $5 up charge as a side or you can get it on its own. It's made by a pastry chef in house and if it's as fluffy as donuts, I will be thrilled to try it next.

Recently visited White sheep and was not overly impressed. While the restaurant is large, spacious and has a nice ambiance, the food was underwhelming. The chicken and waffles consisted of chicken thighs into more of a sandwich that was fairly bland, the house salad only had tomatoes and lettuce and the biscuit and gravy was pretty good but it a large portion and definitely sharable. A few nuances to know is if you don't like your meal they will charge you to make something else and if you come with a group, they do not give individual bills. Not a huge deal but something to note. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Nice, open, and bright restaurant. Free parking garage across the street. Busy parking lot. Attentive server, Tania, took care of my parents and me. We ordered steak and eggs and the vegetarian hash bowl.. steak was well seasoned. Tania told us about the donut offer. Flavored coffee also made to your liking. Peanut butter Donut was fluffy. Recommended for breakfast/brunch!

Great ambiance & service. The food was good but didn't wow me. They have donuts and crafted drinks that were delish. Definitely would go back!

Heard rave reviews about TWS. Dined in with friends visiting from out of town. I love the esthetic and the decor inside. Our server was awesome and gave great details on the menu items. I ordered an omlete, potatoes, turkey sausage and toast. The portion was huge and I couldn't finish it all. The food was just ok though. Not bad but nothing to rave over either. Under seasoned but cooked well.

This was our first time coming here for brunch, and it was somewhat busy. I love their open, airy ambiance and modern decor. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Karen, was awesome. Since this was our first time here, she went over the menu items and answered all our questions. Despite how busy it was getting, she checked in on us regularly, which we appreciated. My son ordered the steak hash bowl, and I ordered an omelet with roasted potatoes and toast. The portions are big, and we both enjoyed our entrees. We also love their coffee. Karen mentioned that they are freshly made every morning, but we were too full to order any for later. If you're in the area, I highly recommend coming in for a bite.

Great brunch gem in the area! Needed a quick bite before an event and White Sheep was recommended. Great place, good food, fast service. My friend ordered the All American HB which was delicious. Good amount of food, flavor was excellent. I ordered the ciabatta sandwich which was a little messy and challenging to eat, but good. I missed out on the hash brown dishes offered. Our server was kind, attentive and fast given we were in a rush. Plenty of time after! My only suggestion is to offer a few more "lunch" items for those not looking for eggs. Be sure to grab a fresh donut on the way out! Would recommend and will be back if in the area!

Giving them a second try and this time we sat in a small table near the door where when the door opens - I can feel the draft. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and asked if I can get extra gravy, the waitress said she can order first and if I need extra gravy she order it - to find out later that the extra gravy has a upcharge of $3 for 5 oz. They also ran out of donuts that day. Food is overall good, service was mediocre and they are good at up charges. 3% surcharge is added for credit card.

This place is a joke black iced coffee, one slice of toast, a plain omelette, three strips of clay tasting bacon $28

Place looks clean, I'm far from Cheap and I know good food. I travel the country I eat in many breakfast places but this one is different different in a bad way $28 for a medium size to go black iced coffee, I ordered two slices of wheat toast. They brought me one I said where's my other piece server stated to me that we don't like to waste so we have to re-order an extra one? Omelette I requested it flat on a grill. They came back looking like a football. They couldn't complete that fine what shocked me with such little food and not even the best arguing about my order of how many slices of bread I should take for $28 I could've picked McDonald's for a better experience and tastier run the other way

Unfortunately, because I had waited so late to put in an order, the soonest they'd be able to fill my order would be Tuesday of next week. Seeing my desperation, the woman who was working there quickly thought of another alternative- she happened to have extra mini cupcakes from a recent previous order that she could have decorated and ready for me to pickup later that day. I went in that same afternoon to pick them up and was absolutely thrilled with the result. I cannot thank Artesa bakery enough for not letting me walk away empty handed. I've been a regular customer at this bakery for a long time -- my son loves their cookies, and I've…read morespent hundreds of dollars here over time. But my recent experience ordering a custom cake for my husband's 40th birthday was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I ordered a two-tier custom cake for nearly $400, plus two dozen mini cupcakes for $110, bringing my total close to $500. For comparison: * Most privately owned bakeries charge around $200-$350 for a two-tier custom cake depending on complexity. * Mini cupcakes typically cost $20-$50 per 24, even from gourmet bakeries. So I paid premium pricing, and I expected premium quality. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. Design Issues The cake did not resemble the inspiration photos we discussed. I asked for a deep, elegant green with blended transitions -- something fitting for an adult's 40th birthday theme. Instead, the cake looked more like a Minecraft or Ninja Turtle cake with bright neon green, flat colors, and no blending. When I brought up the design issue, the owner blamed me, saying the buttercream "needs to sit out for 4-5 hours to darken." The cake did sit out for almost 5 hours, and the color never changed. It wasn't even close to the shade I requested. The explanation didn't make sense, and it felt like I was being blamed for something that was simply a design mistake. Quality Issues: Undercooked Cake When we cut the top tier at the party, we discovered: * an unusually thick 2-inch layer of frosting in the middle, * and a raw, floury, undercooked interior. The texture and aftertaste confirmed it wasn't baked through. We ended up throwing away the entire top tier and whatever was left over at the end of the night. This is more than disappointing -- it's a food safety concern. Customer Service & Tone This was honestly the most frustrating part. When I reached out to discuss what went wrong, the owner's tone was polite on the surface, but the conversation felt passive-aggressive, full of constant rebuttals, and completely lacking in accountability. Every single concern I raised was met with: * an excuse, * a deflection, * or a technical explanation that didn't match my actual experience. There was zero acknowledgment that anything might have been done incorrectly. She repeatedly mentioned things like: * "I didn't charge you for the little decorative balls -- those were free," * "I didn't charge you for the cake topper, it was $3.99," which felt unnecessarily frugal and honestly strange considering I spent almost $500 there. Mentioning $3.99 repeatedly after charging me hundreds of dollars made the whole interaction feel awkward and unprofessional. She also offered me a few free cookies -- but only if I used them this year because she "couldn't move the gift card into the next year due to accounting." I didn't want cookies. I wanted a partial refund, which was the only fair resolution. She immediately shut that down and said she "couldn't do that because of policy," even though she is the owner who sets the policies. There was no room for discussion, no willingness to listen, and no genuine concern for the customer experience. Overall For nearly $500, I received: * a cake that didn't match the design, * colors that were incorrect, * an undercooked top tier, * and a customer service experience that was rigid, dismissive, and full of excuses. I don't post negative reviews lightly, but this was extremely poor value for the price, and the lack of accountability afterward made the situation far worse. I hope this bakery takes this feedback seriously and improves both quality control and how they handle issues when they arise.
