It was an early morning and we were looking for MIMOSAS and MIMOSAS we found. This venue is such a friendly neighborhood spot that is so inviting!!!!!! I ordered a mimosa with grapefruit juice. Delicious! The meal was a veggie skillet. Yummers. Simple, hearty and my belly was pleased. The service was nice. Kind, attentive, and helpful. Look, a breakfast place should not be hard work. This place was everything I needed and I will he returning. Customer service- A+! Food- A+. Sips!!??!! A+! Please check out this lovely quaint spot. You will not be disappointed!

I've been wanting to try Gina's for a long time and now I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. The restaurant was warm and inviting and the staff was lovely. I had the Irish Skillet with poached eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. The hashbrowns were super crispy (very important lol) and they even offer gluten free toast or pancakes as a side.

Breakfast (brunch) spots seem like a slam dunk to me if you are a restaurant owner. The "keep it simple" principle seems to lend itself perfectly to neighborhood breakfast restaurants. Offer some steak and eggs, some Benedicts, some skillets, stuff from the griddle and maybe a page or so at the back of your menu featuring some sandwiches for lunch. Open the place from 7 am to 3 pm or so, and have plenty of servers and busboys so the food comes out fast and efficiently. Gina's Teardrop Cafe in New Lenox pretty much nailed it when we recently visited on a Sunday morning. We were joined by some friends, so there were 7 in our party. We waited for 10 minutes for a table, and the place was hoppin'. None of us had been here before, but we all got the feeling this was the norm for a weekend crowd at this place. The inside tastefully decorated and cozy. It looks like it occupies two units in a strip mall, so it seats quite a few people. We were warmly greeted by our server and she had drinks on the table inside of 3 minutes. These places make their money by turning tables, but we never felt rushed. That being written, within like 10 minutes our food was delivered - hot and exactly as ordered. I went with a Spinach, Artichoke and Grilled Chicken Panini - the only one at the table who ordered off their lunch menu. Other items ordered were Eggs Benedict, a Mexican Skillet, Biscuits and Gravy, Breakfast Tacos & French Toast. The amount of food Gina's gives you for your money is pretty impressive. In a world where many restaurants are downsizing their portions as they raise their prices, Gina's really delivers value for your dollars. The other good news is that they aren't sacrificing quality for quantity. Aside from my sandwich, all the food ordered was really good. There was nothing wrong with my panini, it just lacked flavor. Could've used a sauce of some kind. However, it was a huge portion, and it was cooked really well. It also came with a complimentary bowl of soup - notice I wrote "bowl" because that's exactly what it was. Not a cup, but a bowl of cream of chicken and rice soup. The soup was exactly what you would expect - creamy and delicious with a hint of lemon. Really good. My wife ordered the breakfast tacos. They gave her 3 tacos with scrambled eggs and chorizo and it also came with hash browns. They were delicious, but so big that she could only eat one. My daughter ordered the Eggs Benedict, and again, it was exactly as it should be. Another stand out was the Mexican skillet. Tons of eggs, cheese, veggies and chorizo. Delicious. Everyone at the table was more than satisfied with our breakfast, and our experience definitely validated the crowds and the positive Yelp! reviews. Perfect neighborhood breakfast spot.

Great place, the food is amazing and the drinks are great! Cranberry mimosas are the best! Fried chicken is a must try (hint - ask for them on your eggs Benedict).

The sausage was cooked to a mummified stick like appendage with a little beef "sprinkled on ( don't ever order a combo anywhere, just order two different sandwiches and slap it together) both sandwiches were D R E N C H E D in giardiniera oil we used so many napkins to absorb the oil, they were the worst we have ever had. Each bite brought more slop. Told my guest I needed a squeegee to remove oil from hands. It was to the point of seeming like someone was being purposely ignorant behind counter with pouring oil on sandwiches. Order took 10 minutes after order was placed. Girls had no clue how to use register. Fries were good, onion rings over cooked by far shake was very good with ZERO taste of strawberry. Must be a single pump of fake syrup used. Meal Was a whopping $40. I get it, everyone is trying to get a built in pool or the bigger lake house by gouging customers -oh plus the %3.5 using a card by every single patron using a card, what a racket!,-but PLEASE at least give me something that is within the realm of good. I will definite not be back. One and done!!! Next time in area try the micro brewery food down the way a bit you won't be disappointed might see you there.

DO NOT ORDER CATERING! Ordered 7 boxes of subs for a graduation party on 6/20/26. Asked the GM of…read morestore to cut the subs into 4 pieces instead of 3, which is their standard method. Stores in Frankfort, Orland Park and Tinley Park have always accommodated this request without an issue in the past. When I arrived the order was not ready at the chosen pickup time of 1:30pm. When inspecting the order at 1:38 pm to ensure everything was correct, I was informed that they cut the sub into 6 pieces instead of 4 pieces. I was fine with that even though annoyed that my request was ignored. The bigger issue was that they did not individually wrap the sub pieces and put 2 pieces in one wrapper. When I questioned this, I was given a variety of excuses and treated like I was in the wrong. They reluctantly corrected their mistake and wrapped the pieces individually as they should have been done originally. However this process took over an hour even though I was told it would take 5 to 10 minutes. They finally brought out the boxes of subs with the corrected wrapped pieces, though they only completed 6 of the 7 seven boxes hoping that I would not notice it. I asked them to finish the uncorrected box, and the worker responded "Oh, you want this one done too?" As you can see in the photo, the subs barely had substance to them, and we felt the sandwiches were skimpy and were embarrassed to serve them to our guests. I contacted corporate to find a resolution to this horrible order experience. Rather than trying find a solution, corporate berated me via the email exchange, deflecting the blame on me, and repeatedly called it "my misunderstanding". Throughout the communications, not once did they take accountability for any mistake on their part. In one communication they insisted that if they had cut the sub into 4 pieces that the subs would not fit into the box properly. HUH !?! 4 piece subs won't fit, but 6 piece subs did? Go to another sandwich shop if you want to be treated like an actual human being and get value for your money!!!

I've written quite a few reviews, but I've never reviewed a fast food restaurant. Partly because I…read morerarely eat at fast food restaurants. However in this case I'm going to make an exception. For a fast food sandwich this is my favorite. I get the Original Italian and it's always very good. The reason that I'm writing this review is not so much because of the food but rather the efficiency, profe and cleanliness of this establishment. I'd like to personally commend the staff for their dedication and hard work. It really shows.
