    Customer service; the contact person on the day of the event was very rude and arrogant. Not sure if it has changed, but my experience wasn't professional at all.

    Recently had our wedding Reception here at Smarts hall . Me and my wife loved the place , Mike was very helpful in getting the place set up just the way we wanted. Highly recommend this place for any event . Very Reasonable prices . All our guests had a blast. Thanks Again Mike . The wife loved the outcome

    Unsanitary wine glasses

    We are hosting an event here and we called Mike the owner to ask for assistance with broken and dirty wine glasses served. The majority 90% of 140 glasses were unwashed, used or broken. I cannot imagine that this was not a health violation. He refused to fix it, got defensive and hung up on me. We had it in our contract (in writing) to have wine clean safe glasses. This place has poor customer service by the owner. He put a big damper on our event.

    I want to congratulate Mike of Smart's Banquet Hall. Yesterday, February 3rd 2018 I helped a fellow DJ with sound, lighting and projection. I had previously Deejayed an event exactly two years prior. Let me just say, Mike is very accommodating, professional, courteous and always goes out of his way to make us vendors feel appreciated and respected. He lets us go early to set up equipment, asks us if we need any help and most important, communicates with the upmost detail and concern. His staff is well trained. His security personnel is top notch and patrol the area, specially the parking lot very well. As a veteran DJ I appreciate a venue that not only cares about it's clients, but a venue that understands us DJs and our needs in accommodating us. The times that I have hosted events at Smart's have been very pleasant. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to rent a hall for their next event. Call Mike, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Mike, for treating me and Richard with so much respect! Till next event!

    MY DAUGHTERS XV- MAIN TABLE

    I just had my Daughters XV in November. I booked my event since January, Mike was booked for the day I wanted, but I still booked for another day. Since day one he gave us the best attention and answered all of our questions. He definitely gave us a great deal on the venue which included the tables, chairs, linens, catering and clean up.Our event was on a Friday, Mike let us practice on Wednesday night and we set up on Thursday night. The day of the event everything was ready on time, including the catering( which by the way it was delicious- Herb Chicken). The security guys are awesome they made sure everyone got to their cars safe, they were also very friendly. All of our guess were asking about the Venues information. I could go on and on about our great experience at Smart Hall, but I will stop here:).....I'm ready to book my other Daughters Quince next year.

    So this is my official follow-up review. I really hope it doesn't get removed because I had an amazing experience! ! The hall looked so beautiful, everyone loved our catering from fiesta hall, and the ac felt so good all night. All of our friends an fam were asking us about the venue and catering and complimenting as well. The servers were also very attentive to my guests. We Were able to set up most of our items the night before and arrive a few hours earlier on the day of.We really owe a big thank you to Mike for being so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this place in fact I already have ppl asking for the info. If I have another event anytime soon I'll most likely book this place again :)

    Amazing!!!!!! Had my wedding there and couldn't imagine any thing more perfect the food was great we had the lemon chicken and all my guests could not believe how moist it was... The staff was so polite.. And the security guys made sure to help all my guest to their cars thank you Mike for all your kindness

    I just want to thank the owner of Smarts Hall for giving my family and I a great deal on his venue. From the moment I called him to the very last second we were in his venue he and his staff (security) took care of us. They were very professional. The venue was perfect. We had about 200 guests and everyone loved the location. We had a great time and highly recommend this venue for your next event.

    This review is way overdue. Life got ahead of me. I'm sorry, Emil and Lisa!…read more I had my daughter's quinceañera at El Palacio Hall on March 14, 2026. We hosted 175 guests. When we first started looking for venues, we had a few specific things in mind, and flexibility was one of them. On our first visit in March 2025, we met with Emil, the venue owner. He was very welcoming, friendly, family-oriented, and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and was very transparent from day one. He never pressured us or made us feel obligated to choose everything the hall offered. All selections and packages were based on our budget and what we wanted to spend. When I walked into the venue, I was immediately attracted to the décor, high ceilings, and bar area. Everything was very clean, the white draping made the space feel even more open, and the floor plan was perfect. I knew I wouldn't have to do much. I did hire an outside vendor to help with the themed décor, but almost everything else, including the plating, was purchased through the venue. As the quinceañera date approached, we met the venue manager, Lisa. She became our go-to person for anything we needed. She was very attentive and made sure the event was a success and that everything looked beautiful on the big day. The day of the event, everything went very smoothly. We had a venue host who worked hand in hand with Lisa. I forgot his name, but he was very kind and helpful. I had many family members say, "This place is beautiful! I never knew this was here." No one had any issues with parking. The restrooms were well maintained throughout the event, the food was ready on time (we had the fajitas, beans, and rice which was very tasty), the serving staff was very efficient, and the air conditioning was blasting and felt great (the temperature that day was around 78-80 degrees). Every area of the venue was operating seamlessly. All-in-all I am very grateful to all the staff at El Palacio Hall because they helped make my daughter's quinceañera a success. I would definitely have another event there again.
