I have a response to the One Star review below from Inga. I was there when she drove up. The only raised voice I heard was Inga's. Erin professionally tried to talk to Inga over and over in a calm voice. Inga was furious and refused to talk at all. Erin said they would not pay the bill if she refused to talk. It was clear to me that Erin wanted to discuss the issue so that she could offer a solution. Inga continued to ignore Erin and drove away in a huff. I have been going here for over a year. Update to my UPDATE: Bad news. I havent been more pleased than with the grooming. When I initially left a review, I hadn't had any customer service with them. Today at The Whole Kitten Kapoodle., is where my faith in this company went south. When I took my dogs in for grooming. They got us in right away. Their employee,asked us for what we had in our folder for the dogs. We thought it was an unusual request. But we complied. He assured us that we would get it back after their cut.After the grooming,, they didn't give our papers back. The folders had all of the shot records, rabies tags and certificates.I had called and left messages that we didn't get our folders back. We purchased our 2 dogs in Texas and all of the chip info. Papers that would be hard to replace. When I spoke with Erin, one of the owners, she said it's our problem because they only get the tags and rabies certificates. I was in the car with my mom and the employee definitely asked for the files, with every piece of paper, attached to the history of both dogs. I explained to Erin, that we gave, what was asked for. She did back up her employee, regardless of how the company's mistake, is causing me grief after she said that it is now our problem. I was also told that I didn't call for months. Not true. I called twice and left all of the information. They lost our files and they looked and can't find them. The files couldn't just walk away. Since our property of the files, we're now in the hands of the business, The responsibility is on the business to take extra care of my property. Since Erin mentioned that they only get the rabies information, that would've been lost, no matter what was in the folder. We already identified the contents. Another excuse was that it was a couple of months, so the responsibility was on us. Two months in a row, the business was not able to groom my dogs because the groomer was sick and another time, he had foot problems and couldn't come in that month either. This is the third month and finally got in. I was told that it was my fault that they lost our papers, since they said I took too long. I was given a web address to solve all of my problems. Yeah right. Every step of the way, she gave excuses. She did throw a couple of shallow and curt, I'm sorrys, in there. Although they do grooming well, the customer service is horrible. The moral of the story is to never give your paperwork to this company. It will then become your problem. There are no excuses to take disregard for the customers property. I dread making calls, getting phone numbers, chip information. dog rabies certificate and tags. Their shot records and we're talking, information on both dogs. They have had different vets and trying to find names for both vets. We've had them for years. Some of this paperwork is unrecoverable. 1 will never take my dogs here again. I do not recommend this business, if they can't even find my files, they insisted of "borrowing" them for a couple of hours. That was a crock that they lost it. It's either on the bottom a bird cage somewhere, or they flat out threw it away. It's a small office, there is no way that they took care of my property.******** I helped my mother, with her review, since she was a witness to the paperwork being promised to return it. The next two months, the groomer was out of the office for two months. You never returned either call. Erin, your name calling and accuse the customer of lying is unacceptable. What kind of business does that? If you can't take care of my belongings... Noone there is taking responsibility for something their employee requested. We did not receive a call so, I couldn't make arrangements for the pick up. Erin just shined me on. The only thing Erin can do is to insult any negative yelp they get. There is a pattern of carelessness and incompetence. Run for the hills and don't risk taking your animals here. Take in a dog? You may get a cat back. read more

This place does not do good work. However, I used them anyways because they were local. The company pays their employees very low wages. One of their employees actually asked to live with me, which I offered a room. I NEVER missed an appointment, and when I would drop off my pup I was told "2 hours" until she'll be done. They would finish early after 30 minutes or so and call me that they're done. Next, they penalized me for not picking my pup up until an hour and a half after THEY told me a time that was later. Then, they have the nerve to tell me my dog is not welcome anymore. They did this each of the three times I used them. The owner may post texts stating that I was late picking up my dog, but that is due to THEIR inaccurate time of completion. Moreover, they may also state that I missed an appointment, that is incorrect, I've NEVER missed an appointment for my pup. Do NOT use this place. Go elsewhere. read more

Lauren, Erin and Martha (and the bathers!) are all wonderful! From how my girl Bella looks and from seeing all the freshly-groomed puppers getting picked up by their pawrents, I can confidently say that all three ladies do amazing work. I've been taking my Silky mix here for 3 years, and she has been groomed by all three Capoodle ladies over that time. Erin is her groomer at the moment, but no matter who's groomed her they always do exactly what's requested. They are a very busy salon, yet when I drop off Bella, I never feel rushed. I've never had such a kind and sweet experience at a groomers before. I had a touchy situation because I wasn't even sure that my elder dog should be "bothered" by a grooming. I was not sure she was really strong enough. They said they would work to the degree that she felt up to it. When they returned her to me, she not only was fluffy, clean and smelled good, but she has been acting happier since she came home. I know that sounds silly, but she's doing better and the people there was so tender and caring. This business is not professional. When I reported a problem, the owner, Erin, was rude, obnoxious and told us the problem was ours. What happened, was an employee asked for our paperwork. We told them, the paperwork is in two folders, it had every bit of paperwork we had for our two dogs. At the end of our appointment, the employee kept our paperwork. I called two times to request my paperwork. No response! Erin said, if we gave them our records, with, shots etc.its on us.. Some of the ,names, are unavailable. What kind of business does not take responsibility for something they asked for. If your company takes ownership, of something, YOUR company is responsible. What use is a company who blames the customer for their incompetence. The previous review by my daughter, is complete and true. I love this place! I have a very nervous dog who normally screams when I take her to get her nails trimmed, but not here. The groomer is wonderful and so good with dogs, she just took her back and 2 minutes later my pup comes out, nails trimmed, relatively happy, and I didn't have to listen to her scream bloody murder. This place is horrible. I took my sweet little kitten to get groomed and received a very alarming phone call from the groomer saying that she had been hurt. I rushed back to see the owner standing with arms folded and back peddling what took place to state that my cat arrived with injuries which is utter nonsense especially since the groomer himself stated it happened during their care (I have the voice mail message to prove it). I rushed her to the vet where she was examined and treated. I have only asked the owner to pay for the exam and extensive eye exam portion of my vet bill ($150). She refused stating that she isn't going to pay for anything. The very aggressive way that she came at me when I picked up my cat from them was beyond unprofessional. I asked her several times to leave me alone and stop talking to me but she continued shouting at me that she isn't paying for anything, etc., all the way to my car. They have no business caring for animals and it is clear to me they are only in business for the money. read more

Unlike Petsmart where you walk in and sometimes end up standing in the cramped lobby of their grooming department waiting for assistance with multiple other anxious dogs, TWKC is a much more relaxed atmosphere altogether. This afternoon was the first time I had brought my chocolate lab in for a bath, and I couldn't be happier. The service was very prompt and professional. Love Lauren. She does a wonderful job with our giant newfoundland. He won't stand for very long and he has bad hips. Often when we take him to other gromers he shakes and won't get out of the car.
