Unfortunately, the experience went downhill the moment I walked in. One employee immediately gave me a harsh look and stared at me from across the room. I didn't even realize he worked there at first, so I tried to move out of his line of sight. Another employee eventually approached me, and I explained that it was my first visit and I wanted to look around before asking questions. He was friendly and helpful -- I honestly wish he had been the one assisting me the whole time. Instead, the first employee eventually came over and asked if I needed anything, but his tone and body language made me feel unwelcome, as if he wanted me to leave rather than browse. It took the excitement out of what should have been a fun first visit. Bottom line: the store itself was great, but the attitude from that particular employee made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing.

It may not be a huge location but they host Magic the Gathering and other tabletop options comfortably, professionally and efficiently. They have a nice (and growing) selection of collectables , warhammer minitures , MTG singles accessories and packs and can , from what I've been told pull inventory from their other location. Stop on by, if you're a gamer looking to play this is a great place in Batavia to be yourself and make new friends.

Do you need decals for whatever reason? They have a big free bin near the front. Do you need cement? What types? There are so many! And, if you don't know, the guys who work there do, and they will make sure you walk away with what you need. I went into the store w the receipt and slime and they said they couldn't find it in their system on their iPad. A manager-looking woman came over and said she would go back to the aisle and look. When she came back she said I couldn't return it because it wasn't a product in the store. At this point my blood was a simmer. I say "here's the receipt, here's the slime. It clearly looks like your product. Whether or not you have it come up isn't my problem" The manager looking lady doesn't care and reiterates that if they can't find it, I cannot return it. In fact, when in the beginning I would go over to his house and he would do his work there. Over the years, he has opened up several shops and the business has slowly grown. It isn't the largest of train stores, but they don't carry any of the low-end, junk stuff that will break easily. I have heard that they are moving again to Greece, which ironically will be just a mile or so from where I used to live when I was in the Rochester area.

But the selection is mostly MtG and other TCGs. They have mini games, but only Warhammer and the 5e D&D minis. The only real stand out was a handful of Indiana Jones splat books amidst a sea of 5e D&D books. So, I mean, friendly and clean is good. But the selection, for me, left way too much to be desired.
