The Wicked Shamrock, or the "Shammy" as locals call it, is a fun dive bar. Lots of tv's and loud music. You can pick and choose from the juke box or just catch the game on the MONSTER big screen adjacent to the pool tables. Fantastic beer menu that includes many local breweries. I was delighted to see sour beer, which I don't find too often. Cocktails are stiff and reasonably priced. I ordered an AMF. Great price- Great taste! See you there party people.

42 beers on tap. They keep changing.

Forty-Two different beers on tap. Not as good a variety as before - too many IPA's and blondes. They used to have Velvet Merlin, which was quite good. Now they have Nitro Velvet Merlin, which is yuck.

Bigger than normal pints only $5

Dive bar but has THE BEST CHILLED Guinness (AND comes in a chilled glass). It's worth trying out just for that!

A man even bought drinks for my boyfriend, and I told him not to! The man got furious and started yelling at me. I recorded him, the bartender, and the bar staff too! I had to leave the place. I would like to file a report!Four months ago, the same thing happened! My boyfriend ordered some tequila shots, and I put my hand over the glasses to stop him from getting them. I told him he couldn't see the alcohol level, and the bartender got angry. I told him it was illegal to serve them like that! He didn't get them, but I had to intervene; otherwise, he would have gotten more drinks!

Did like the attempt at English decor, namely the phonebox hanging on the side of the bar and the usage of the Underground signage. Appreciated the (at least two) beers on tap that were imports -- couldn't quite see what they were, but they had my Guinness, so that was enough for me. (They do have a good selection of taps, including 805, another blonde, etc. Again - since I really only drink Guinness, I can't say I paid much attention.) The one thing I will say is that the atmosphere can give off a... I dunno, vibe. It's quite dark inside, even when it's moderately light out. (I called in around 7pm). Nevertheless, you can get a Guinness, so that's good enough for me. 2025: 23/100

The atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming in a way that made it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. The food there tasted genuinely good to me, and every dish had the kind of flavor that makes you slow down and appreciate what you're eating instead of rushing through it. I liked how comfortable everything felt, and I appreciated that I could enjoy my time without feeling pressured or hurried. I noticed a lot of teenagers at this location, which made sense because the place has a fun, friendly vibe that younger people would enjoy a lot. Seeing them there made me realize how much teenagers would love spending time at The Perch, especially since it gives them a spot where they can eat good food, talk, laugh, and feel like they belong. Even though this restaurant was new to me, I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked around and settled in. I've only visited The Perch one time in my life before writing this review, but that one visit was enough for me to understand why people speak so positively about it. It's one of the most comfortable and enjoyable restaurants I've been to in a while, and I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a place to enjoy good food, spend time with friends, and feel part of a lively environment. If you're in Frazier Park and want a spot that feels inviting and fun, The Perch is definitely worth checking out.
