We stumbled with this business on our way to another place. It was a really interesting set up of a business. There's basically a Mexican restaurant attached to this arcade place that has a bowling space and a big dance area. However the dance party's only happens during Winter when there is more foot traffic. Otherwise it's a very deserted place during the Summer time but still a blast to visit if you are in the area. Great staff! Clean. Plenty of parking as well. read more

I was here before with my brother's kids for them to play video games and eat at the Mexican restaurant inside. But the last time I was here, was with my brother and his friends to bowl and have some food and drinks. Sean and Sydney were amazing, Sean was all over the place supporting whomever needed helped and Sydney was busy with keeping everyone with a full drink. The bowling lanes are full, and they have the game where they play 8 pin double tap. I am not a good bowler by nature, but was just enough to help win a couple games for my team, luckily. This place is so well run. Your family can get good Mexican food, and then play video games, skee ball, or bowl. I have never been unhappy here and quite honestly I look forward to the next time I can come back and be better on the lanes. Thanks to the team here at Wild Game. It's the only place to bowl between Denver and Silverthorne so they have the market "cornered". Ambiance is just fine, but if you are looking an overpriced / overcooked burger using below average ingredients, then this spot is for you! And the overcooked chicken tenders are equally amazing. This place is so much fun!! There is a restaurant, a bar, an arcade, several bowling lanes, and several other games (ping pong, etc). This is a great place to go with a group of people because there is something for everyone. I have gone bowling, played the games, played in the arcade, and hung out at the bar. The drinks at the bar are cheap (we spent like $16 for 4 drinks (ciders and beers)) and their appetizers are great! This is in a great location in Evergreen and has so much to do you could easily spend an entire evening here. read more

Great place for a birthday party (kids or adults!!). Totally recommend it for a "girls night out". Old school music playing and I was able to watch MNF while still being able to bowl with my niece and sister. Food was good. Plenty of arcade games for the little ones. This is a great little spot to have some fun. Bowl, eat, drink, play arcade games. Even a very good friend of mine has been married here! The prices are a little high. For a small family of 3, bowling is 21$. We spent another 20$ in video arcade games which went fast and it's more geared toward older kids. Not many games for 3 year olds. The food is pretty yum and not bad at all! We'll be back for sure. read more

Beer? Check. Food? Check. Fun? Check! Rendezvous is a very interesting and welcome concept. Think Dave and Buster's only classier. So after a couple hours of ice skating and a cup of hot chocolate my friends and I decided it was time to get some lunch and play some games. We chose Rendezvous at the recommendation of an absent friend that lives in the area. Good thing we were sent here too, because finding it was a bit tricky! If we didn't know it existed, I'm not sure if we would've discovered it on our own. Once we arrived I was immediately impressed by the decor and the layout. There were great partitions made of aspen tree trunks and wood whiskey barrels scattered about the bar height tables. We hung a right past the arcade area, the 8 bowling lanes, the indoor corn hole, the bar, the pool table, and pulled up some seats next to a ping pong table and shuffle board. The boys in our group chose to partake in a couple Titan IPAs' by Great Divide while the girls sampled the root beer by none other than local favorite Tommy Knocker. After a couple rounds of ping pong the girls moved on to the arcade which was somewhat small, but you could still find some of the arcade staples on a smaller scale. Skee ball had the shorter ramps, there was an interesting take on connect four digitized, our personal favorite was "Sink It" which essentially was a head to head beer pong (?!?!). Yeah that's right, we were the only adults in the arcade area and you know what? We were okay with that. After several rounds of the arcade games we made our way back to the boys and ordered two pizzas to nosh on. The Marghartia and the Sweet Heat were both very tasty. The Sweet Heat has a mixture of red sauce and a thai chili sauce which I adore! After our meal we had decided to try our hand at a round of bowling... Only with so few lanes we were faced with a half hour wait, which we decided to skip this time. Word of caution: our bill added up fairly quickly and though we were there in the middle of the day (about noon, with only two other groups) we did have to wait a while for our server or go place our food order at the bar. Over all we had a great time, but I'd make sure to check the website next time and come during happy hour. read more

This is a review of both Rendezvous Tap and Kitchen and Wild Game. These both opened recently in a spanning space in Bergan Park. The concept is much like a Dave and Busters. There are 4 rooms: dining room, main bar, bowling/billiards/bar, and a video game area. The space is new, bright and clean. i have been there on two separate occasions, once eating in the dining room and once in the main bar. The first time we went it was with a larger group. They didn't plan their staffing well and we ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our food. Once it arrived the food was really good. I had the chicken sandwich which was tender, juicy, and had good flavor. The second time we went it was just two of us and we sat at the main bar. We had the french dip, an order of wings, and fries. The dip was good, has a horseradish cream sauce on it which gave it a little tartness. The wings had really good sauce, just not coated well enough. We went and spent some time in the arcade area after dinner, which although the games were new, clean, bright, and working well most of them were $1 per play, which if you have kids can get expensive quick. The beer list both night was decent. I was impressed with the selection of local brews on tap, but it would be nice if they had more bottled microbrew options and a not nasty cider. Next time I think we will spend more time in the billiards area and do some bowling. Overall, this is a really great place, just not sure how long it will be there for. The prices are not bad, but for families doing a night out this place can get expensive quickly. I like the concept, hope they keep afloat but I am not sure how sustainable it will be unless they run some really good specials or bring prices down some. read more

Basically copying my review for the restaurant that's inside The Wild Game... Yeah! Beer, food, & fun! This place used to be the 'new' Evergreen movie theater, but has been completely gutted and turned into what is basically a Dave & Busters style fun center. I really hope they find success in Evergreen. When I was a kid growing up there, we used to have to make the long commute to 'FunPlex' down by Southwest Plaza. These guys are close and I like to support local even though I have had a few less than stellar experiences. The latest, I ordered wings to go. Pick up, all smooth. I get home and there are 7 skinny wings with yellowish green celery with two thimbles of dressing. Previous experiences include weak drinks, poor service (understaffed) and rude manager. The people there seem to work their rear off but they just don't have enough of them. The space is great and the food is usually ok for a bar but the service has lacked consistently. I had the blackened fish tacos on the seasonal menu and they were DELICIOUS (I wish they came with avocado or guac) I wish they were part of the regular menu, they were simply amazing. Boyfriend had the 5 cheese mac and cheese with bacon and chicken and said it was good too. Seems like a funky place. Had high hopes. My girlfriend and I came here to see a band that I know. Came up early to have dinner first. All was well until we finished eating. We had ordered drinks and got them fine. Then our waitress flat out disappeared. After about an hour I decided to walk to the bar and get my own drink. As I was nearing the bar I heard someone call out "do you need another drink?". It was our waitress. She was standing talking with a couple people (friends?). I told her that I did and I headed back to the table. She brought the drinks. No apologies. No comment really. Then she disappeared again. I saw her later behind the bar making drinks. This place really wasn't that busy. I was talking to a band member during break and he pointed out the owner speaking to people at a nearby table. I watched the rest of the night while the owner hung out at a couple of tables while the wait staff was largely absent. We left around 11PM after getting there at about 630PM. We had dinner and two drinks. That was it. Left a minimal tip. Let me explain what kind of mistake this is for any establishment of this type: First, I am VERY well known to have no problem spending money and tipping quite well. Second, I am a local musician who a large number of people trust to point out venues. Third, I am a business owner who has also engaged in ventures with many bars as customers and have learned a lot about the business from the several owners I have befriended. I have seen the previous reviews for this place and the problems are consistent. The good reviews appear to be mainly for the game areas while the bad reviews (other than those about broken machines) center around food/beverage service. That means they have problems. They have a bit of a captive audience which likely explains how they have survived (they would have never lasted long in Denver). But they'll never really be a success with such an apathetic attitude. Trust me. I've seen it a hundred times. I'll be happy to see my friend's band there again because they are a great group of guys. And I'll thank The Wild Game for providing me a free night out. ;) read more

We stopped here last night to enjoy some dinner, watch some baseball, and enjoy some live music! This place has it all - fun for families with kids to enjoy the games and special events - but good for us older folks that just want a cold beer, a good burger, and watch a ballgame on the big screen. The Bartender was attentive and helpful. He kept our coffees warm and full (we had been on a long hike and got rather cold!) and was attentive (but not too much) during our visit. I had come here with a bunch of friends (about 20 of us) on a motorcycle group ride in summer of 2017, and we kind of overwhelmed the place yet from what I remember they served us our drinks quickly and got our food orders delivered promptly and correctly. The perfect place for a work outing. We had a large group and wanted to have a belated holiday party so this was a great location for us. They arranged a buffet of snacks and a cash bar for our group and then we all made us of the bowling lanes. I have to give props for the ambiance. A lot of these game places feel geared toward kids and I'm sure kids have a great time there but the decor felt a little more elevated. It's mountain and wild animal themed with lots of fake trees etc but felt a little classier than I expected. Great place for a big group or a family outing. read more

So I come here often and the service is spotty at best. But today took the cake, it has now been 13 mins and we have not been greeted. There is ONE other person in the whole place and he is sitting at the bar. We are literally 10 feet from the front desk and not one, two but people were at the desk. After five years of relying on Wild Game for dependable food, I'm sorry to post a poor review, but our last few food experiences have been downright awful. In the years since we've been goIng, the menu has gone from interesting to pretty basic. No more shrimp and chorizo wraps. No more bistro steak with bourbon sauce. Very little on the menu now but bar staples, and even those aren't very good. They've changed from great crispy thin fries to thicker ones which on the past few visits have been chewy and stale. Yuck. Still a fun place to go, and I appreciate their community events, but now I'll eat beforehand. read more

if i could give less stars i would. terrible. the service is horrible and the food is edible at best. also a manger was extremely rude as she brought our food. and the salsa and guacamole came with chip crumbs. Been coming here for 3 years now and tonight was definitely different. I know management changed a while back but the atmosphere stayed roughly the same. I'm wondering if management changed again recently. It's probably been about 3 months since our last visit. Tonight, hands down my worst experience to date. I guess I missed the sign up front saying "Seat yourself". We stood next to the hostess podium while 3 different employees made eye contact with us and still walked by. After a few minutes we were finally told by our waitress that we could just sit anywhere. Here's where things have changed. It took a few minutes just to get our drink requests. Now, I understand if it was busy but there were people sitting at 2 other tables. By all means it was not busy at all. After we received our drinks it took nearly 5 minutes to get our food order in. By this time 3 other parties had arrived and sat down. We got our food around 10 minutes later, this was before the party next to us even got their menus or even drink requests. I noticed they had our waitress taking care of the entire dining area. While I understand seeing folks you know in the place you work but having a full blown conversation while other customers are waiting, appears to be a maturity issue along with a supervisor issue. We have always been greeted by a supervisor or manager in the past during our meal. Tonight, nothing at all. After our meal we notified our waitress about our Military status as we "Always" have on all of our visits. Our waitress notified us tonight that the manager would no longer give Military Discounts, which we always turn around and give that discount in the form of a tip to our server. In short, things have changed and I'm not sure if we will be back. Seems like a waste of time and money now. read more

We stopped here recently on a trip out to see the bison roaming around off I-70. We were not disappointed by either the bison (so cool!) or this place. Our server was challenged by a table behind us who had received the wrong order, twice, and then ultimately walked out. We were a bit concerned as the place was virtually empty, but stuck it out. The food was very good. To be honest I've forgotten what we ordered...pulled pork sandwiches I think, but they were tasty and our fears were for naught. The server was gracious, although obviously a bit overwhelmed. It seemed the kitchen was VERY slow which we never quite understand why in a place that is barely full. This was a good option for us on this day...not sure we'd drive to Evergreen to eat here otherwise, but it worked for us while we were in the area. read more

What a hoppin' spot in Evergreen! As we approached the building, it looked more like a gentleman's club than an arcade bar/restaurant. But alas, it's just games for adults who act like kids. And the parking lot was PACKED! I'm not sure if it's like that every night, but it was insanely busy for a Tuesday night. We had to park all the way in the back, I'm not even sure people were parking in actual spots, it was really tight maneuvering through to find a spot. I went for a private party, so we had access to some of the games and a section of the bar area. Wide variety of drinks and food. At our event, they had bruschetta, chicken tenders, spicy chicken wings, cheese pizza, and pepperoni pizza. The bruschetta was better than most bar/restaurants. The tenders were crisp and juicy, just the way I like them. And huge! Sometimes people serve wimpy tenders that are tiny, but these were no-kidding tenders the size of a hand. I didn't try the hot wings, so no eval there. And the pizza was pretty standard pizza you'd expect at a barcade. The service was great, and the games were plentiful. This is an all-around great spot to host an event. Also a fun spot to go when you're feeling like being a kid again. read more

Having been to the Rendezvous a few times now, I thought it was time to give a review. While the entire facility offers a great night of fun, the Rendezvous alone as a restaurant is quite mediocre. The service was good, yet it could have been a bit more prompt and polite. Moreover, the food was slightly over priced for the quality of the food. I had the honey-glazed chicken sandwich and it lacked flavor while the fries were lukewarm. On that basis, I am giving the Rendezvous a 3-Star rating, but I am sure that there is serious potential in this place. read more

I can't help but give Wild Game a mediocre review which is unfortunate because I used to love it. The arcade is expensive, nothing works and games seemed rigged. $20 cards lasted us about 20 minutes. I really enjoyed our lunch at this place. We were out riding and found it by happy accident. Food was fantastic. We got the buffalo burger and cheese curds. They were both lovely.
