    Cool view of the lanes
    Patrick P.

I was here before with my brother's kids for them to play video games and eat at the Mexican restaurant inside. But the last time I was here, was with my brother and his friends to bowl and have some food and drinks. Sean and Sydney were amazing, Sean was all over the place supporting whomever needed helped and Sydney was busy with keeping everyone with a full drink. The bowling lanes are full, and they have the game where they play 8 pin double tap. I am not a good bowler by nature, but was just enough to help win a couple games for my team, luckily. This place is so well run. Your family can get good Mexican food, and then play video games, skee ball, or bowl. I have never been unhappy here and quite honestly I look forward to the next time I can come back and be better on the lanes. Thanks to the team here at Wild Game. I can only stress that supporting small owned businesses is critical in these challenging times. I don't live in CO but you can bet I'll be back soon! Support small businesses!

Great place for a birthday party (kids or adults!!). Totally recommend it for a "girls night out". Old school music playing and I was able to watch MNF while still being able to bowl with my niece and sister. Food was good. Plenty of arcade games for the little ones. Service could've been a little bit more attentive. But overall, thumbs up.

This is a great little spot to have some fun. Bowl, eat, drink, play arcade games. Even a very good friend of mine has been married here! The prices are a little high. For a small family of 3, bowling is 21$. We spent another 20$ in video arcade games which went fast and it's more geared toward older kids. Not many games for 3 year olds. The food is pretty yum and not bad at all! We'll be back for sure.

Beer? Check. Food? Check. Fun? Check! Rendezvous is a very interesting and welcome concept. Think Dave and Buster's only classier. So after a couple hours of ice skating and a cup of hot chocolate my friends and I decided it was time to get some lunch and play some games. We chose Rendezvous at the recommendation of an absent friend that lives in the area. Good thing we were sent here too, because finding it was a bit tricky! If we didn't know it existed, I'm not sure if we would've discovered it on our own. Once we arrived I was immediately impressed by the decor and the layout. There were great partitions made of aspen tree trunks and wood whiskey barrels scattered about the bar height tables. We hung a right past the arcade area, the 8 bowling lanes, the indoor corn hole, the bar, the pool table, and pulled up some seats next to a ping pong table and shuffle board. The boys in our group chose to partake in a couple Titan IPAs' by Great Divide while the girls sampled the root beer by none other than local favorite Tommy Knocker. After a couple rounds of ping pong the girls moved on to the arcade which was somewhat small, but you could still find some of the arcade staples on a smaller scale. Skee ball had the shorter ramps, there was an interesting take on connect four digitized, our personal favorite was "Sink It" which essentially was a head to head beer pong (?!?!). Yeah that's right, we were the only adults in the arcade area and you know what? We were okay with that. After several rounds of the arcade games we made our way back to the boys and ordered two pizzas to nosh on. The Marghartia and the Sweet Heat were both very tasty. The Sweet Heat has a mixture of red sauce and a thai chili sauce which I adore! After our meal we had decided to try our hand at a round of bowling... Only with so few lanes we were faced with a half hour wait, which we decided to skip this time. Word of caution: our bill added up fairly quickly and though we were there in the middle of the day (about noon, with only two other groups) we did have to wait a while for our server or go place our food order at the bar. Over all we had a great time, but I'd make sure to check the website next time and come during happy hour.

This is a review of both Rendezvous Tap and Kitchen and Wild Game. These both opened recently in a spanning space in Bergan Park. The concept is much like a Dave and Busters. There are 4 rooms: dining room, main bar, bowling/billiards/bar, and a video game area. The space is new, bright and clean. i have been there on two separate occasions, once eating in the dining room and once in the main bar. The first time we went it was with a larger group. They didn't plan their staffing well and we ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our food. Once it arrived the food was really good. I had the chicken sandwich which was tender, juicy, and had good flavor. The second time we went it was just two of us and we sat at the main bar. We had the french dip, an order of wings, and fries. The dip was good, has a horseradish cream sauce on it which gave it a little tartness. The wings had really good sauce, just not coated well enough. We went and spent some time in the arcade area after dinner, which although the games were new, clean, bright, and working well most of them were $1 per play, which if you have kids can get expensive quick. The beer list both night was decent. I was impressed with the selection of local brews on tap, but it would be nice if they had more bottled microbrew options and a not nasty cider. Next time I think we will spend more time in the billiards area and do some bowling. Overall, this is a really great place, just not sure how long it will be there for. The prices are not bad, but for families doing a night out this place can get expensive quickly. I like the concept, hope they keep afloat but I am not sure how sustainable it will be unless they run some really good specials or bring prices down some.

    Great ambiance.

This is probably one of my favorite places to eat in evergreen. Me and my pals usually sit in the same place every time and we love the server. Also the bartender (Bill) that's usually on when we dine is very friendly. The reason I like coming to the wild game is because the food is consistently good.

    Sarah G.

A great addition to the Evergreen area bringing food and fun for the entire family. Parents can let the kids play while they enjoy a killer cocktail, pint of local brew or a fine wine. From pizza to sandwiches to appetizers to salads, the menu has something for everyone. Come prepared to play your face off.

Arcade area is terrible. Many things don't work. I was told it's been that way for months. I'll never go back.

Can we talk about food because we all know that makes or breaks any event?? Well, we had salmon and prime rib as our proteins with garlic mashed potatoes, green bean almandine, strawberry spinach salad, and fresh fruit. It was difficult to make this menu choice because all the tastings were so delicious! Kerri and Frank, the owners are so AWESOME! They answered every single one of our questions and were always so patient and sweet about everything. It's not too far from Denver, but it feels like a getaway. The xc skiing at Devil's Thumb has always been a favorite for us, as far back as the 70's when it was just a rustic ski trail system with a small nordic supply shop. In recent years it became a full fledged resort with lodging where we have often stayed. We have also stayed in Winter Park, about 15 minutes away and driven over to ski. But we have now found our new favorite option. This is such a lovely place, both the facility and the charming staff. It is a better price value for us than some of the other options in the area, yet more than a simple motel in town. You know, like Goldilocks, "just right." I especially want to note that the (included) breakfast that host John cooks for the guests was wonderful, some sweet, some savory, warm, homemade, natural and ample for the start of even an hearty ski day. They take note in advance of special food needs and serve with a choice of time options. The log style of the building is rustic but nicely furnished. The rooms are well designed and furnished with high quality linens and have lots of storage as some guests stay for weeks. The views from each room are very pretty, some to the Continental Divide, some to the woodland. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The central lounge area was large, comfortable, attractive and clean and with a central fireplace. There are also some other smaller gathering areas to sit and talk or read if you wish to be outside your room. And there are also some family and dog friendly cabins on site if you want more than a bedroom. Personally, the rooms in the main inn are just right for my needs. We will absolutely be back. It is convenient to local xc skiing and also just a 15 minute drive past the Winter Park Resort and not far at all from several quality dinner options. If I were smarter, I could have had so many snacks in there. Instead, I insisted we try to walk and find something down the street, because this is Colorado and at the very least there is some bar food nearby within walking distance. Not at 11 pm. Nothing open, no one on the streets maybe some mountain lions, at least the bears were hibernating. We ate lunch at the restaurant down the street recommended by the front desk. Murphys closes at 9 pm. Delicious, I owe them a five star review. Ordered conservatively for some reason, but should have had leftovers on the mind. It was love at first sight. Cheryl gave us the tour at Blackstone Rivers Ranch, she has a beautiful soul as did everyone who works for this venue. Each one of them were so kind and helpful. This venue has years of experience and a preferred list of vendors that make this process much easier and more relaxed as they work so well together (and as a bride you feel comfortable and confident that everything will go well). This is very important working as a team to create such a special day for two people. None of our family or invited friends knew about this place. We had guests from Minnesota, Mexico, California, Spain, Colombia, Panama, and other countries. We knew that they were making a huge sacrifice to be here on our special day. The time for the wedding arrived and when our guests arrived at Blackstone Rivers Ranch they were stunned and delighted, our guests did not stop commenting that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever been to. We had compliments about the venue, catering, DJ, coordinator, photographer, EVERYTHING from our guests. As a bride I was afraid of having the same problem as the other brides, who always had some complaint or something that did not go the way they wanted on their special day, BUT NO I was not one of those brides (YAY)! My wedding was the best and the most perfect thanks to Blackstone Rivers Ranch and their list of preferred vendors. Without the help of BRR my wedding would not have been possible to plan as perfectly. Every penny invested in this wedding was worth it to the fullest. My husband and I are more than sure that it was the best decision we have ever made in having a big wedding with 100 guests and not a small wedding with only 15 or 20 guests. My guests fell in love with our wedding and the venue and they couldn't stop talking about it. They all told us that it was worth the sacrifice they made to travel from far away to experience the beautiful views of the mountains and the river at the venue, the big and beautiful white tent. EVERYTHING was romantic and unique. My husband and I will always be grateful to BRR, our words and gratitude will not be enough for the enormous satisfaction and happiness we had on our wedding day.
