Fancy bar adjacent to a small restaurant. Lots of seating area. They sell $2 bills, promoted in every corner of the bar lol. There are daily activities listed in the bar's monthly activity print out. Seems like it's little pricey, had to pay about $5 for a plastic cup of Sprite. But the server was very friendly. Bar was all clean and tidy. read more

They are quick, fun, and always make me feel safe and welcome! The bands are great we had such a good time dancing playing pool and meeting amazing new people from town. We randomly stopped in here after a concert at Red Rocks. It looks like a dive bar and has all the elements of a good dive bar: cheap drinks, pool tables, random rock playlist, a local musician cutting their teeth on stage. We were here for an hour before we realized that it had a whole outside area in the back with fire pits everywhere and lounge chairs! It has 3 stories of hip sophisticated space with a great view. I'm definitely coming back! This place is full of surprises! read more

Best place to have an event. I cannot speak highly enough about this place and my experience. I spoke with the owner Tom about a baby shower for around 50 people. We were provided exceptional service food, and the views from the rooftop were unbeatable. I recommend this place to everyone and look forward to hosting my next event at this location :) read more

Charming lookin dive bar. Was really looking forward to it. Came in here with some friends after hiking around Red Rocks for a couple beers and lunch. Server asked us if we wanted "drinks and food" or "just drinks". Replied "drinks and food". Took our order and brought over beers. Decent tap selection! Waited with our beers for 15 minutes or so and the staff member seemed to be ignoring us- looking away from glances and a couple waves. One of us went to the bar to ask another staff member "hey can we get some food?" And the original staff member interjects, insinuating we were too lazy to order at the bar. Sorry, was our first time so we didn't know. We yielded and apologized, asked for a check because we no longer wanted to stay, and the same staff member yelled at us further. Embarrassing. I recommend avoiding this spot based on attitude alone. read more

Great place for a quick and cheap bite to eat! We stopped in here after a trip to Rocky Mountian National Park for some beer and food, and left satisfied! updating my update from last year. Too bad this place has changed management so many times over the past few years. It now serves the most expensive bottle of Budweiser in the area. A buck more than even the Denver strip clubs and almost twice the price of the Front Range Inn just a couple miles east on Morrison Road. The live music was nice. If I could give it a negative 10 I would. Waited over an hour for a burger... Of which they finally admitted they lost. They offered me some ice cream for free, to help I guess. Food is average, unless you love salt. Everything is just coated in salt so you can't taste the actual food. I could go on.... But bottom line, stay away from this ####hole. read more

After checking out the Red Rocks Amphitheatre we decided to stroll into the quaint town of Morrison and grab a bite. There were a few options mexican, italian, etc. but we were wanting american fare. There were two burger places so I asked a local what she preferred and she actually told us she drove and hour just to get a burger from the Morrison Holiday Bar so a burger from the Morrison Holiday Bar it is! We walked into the bar area. It was local and divey and amazing! Then into the little order area Mill Street Eats to get our burgers. Friendly staffers told us to order our food grab a beer next door than take a seat next to the bubbling stream outside. So darn excited!!! This is exactly the experience I wanted on my Colorado adventure. Good food, good beer, natural pretty environment. I ordered the Lookout Mountain : Applewood Smoked Bacon, Cheddar Cheese & BBQ Sauce $6.99 with sweet potato fries. It was a mean burger cooked perfect and full of flavor. My brother coupled his with tots. My sister had hers on rye & my sis-in-law had grilled chicken sand and loved it. Very sorry I made the decision to go here last night. Servers were great however the owner had made the decision to force all patrons to watch a congressional hearing instead of listening to music which is why I was there. I drove using expensive fuel to a bar with good music that I used to enjoy. There are lots of other options out there so won't be going back. read more

I've come here a couple times to watch one of my favorite bands (The Acusticators) live and it's always been a good time. There is definitely a hometown feel to this bar and you can tell that they have a set of regulars that come in. The bar itself was clean and comfortable and the bartenders were attentive. This bar has a stage inside of it and lots of mirrors y'all!! Kinda cool, but very small and very creepy patrons lure within. Overall nice atmosphere and wonderful lights that flash like a sky jiggamabop! Woooweeee it's a party up in here. I can see myself coming back for a performance. The bar here has pool tables, a parking lot in the back with a very nice security guard. He watches out for those who don't stay in the area. Don't get him mad, or else he will tow your precious hummer and what not. The bar is also connected to the burger and ice cream joint that I dined in at. We stopped by here after checking out the amphitheater based on reviews for a good burger. I was surprised that it was just a bar with a food counter. You had to order at the counter and pay and then sit in the bar, which was funky smelling. My cheeseburger was not good. It tasted like a school cafeteria burger. Like it was just heated in a microwave and then put on a bun. I thought about ordering a beer but it was kind of awkward since the bar and the food counter were separate. read more

Drinks were decent and very reasonably priced ('course I'm from Florida so no idea on the going rate for a jack n coke or vodka n soda in Morrison....) and the service was great. They were constantly cleaning tables and checking on people. One thing I thought was weird is that you can smoke in here. Nothing against smoking as I'm a former smoker, but I just found it unusual. The place said best margaritas but were subpar at best and some of the least attentive service we've had in a while, our bartender forgot to make our drinks for about 15 mins... and then over charged us. My boyfriend and I came in here on a Friday night around 9pm. A (white) man came up to my (black) boyfriend and challenged him to an arm wrestle. It was innocent and fun and we continued a conversation after. During this conversation, he used the r word and n word (hard r). My boyfriend and I told him how inappropriate those words are and tried to redirect the conversation. This led him to tell us how our generation is ruining everything. We politely excused ourselves from the conversation. We then saw him walk up to another (white) couple and saw them all laughing while looking at us. I told the bartender the exact language this man was using in hopes this place does not support this type of customer and would kick him out. The bartender said, "yeah this guy is a regular. I don't want to interrupt his conversation, but I'll definitely tell him that he can't say those words in here." I will not be back nor give my business to a place that accepts/allows racist and inappropriate language/behavior. read more

Is this the best place for a pre or post Red Rocks show drink? I think so. Honestly though, it's probably awesome for drinks (and burgers, let's not forget those) any time. Sir Nicholas and I stopped here on our way to see Ryan Adams just a few weeks ago and I was really impressed with how much local goodness they stock. Not only did they have Colorado beers, but they also carried local spirits and even a couple of local wines. That was definitely more than I was expecting. The food ordering had to be explained to us as they don't actually make and serve the food; rather it comes from Mill Street Eats, which is attached. You basically go through the adjoining doorway, place your order, get a number, and the food place brings your order to you. However, you don't have to clean up or take your stuff back to the food place as the bartenders do that for you. Also, you guys, tater tots. TATER TOTS. They are one of my true food loves and I will eat.them.all.right.now.please.and.thank.you. The burgers we ordered were fantastic, too. Other things of note: + There isn't table service so if you sit at a table you still have to go to the bar. + Live music, woot! + Patio sitting, woot! + Happy hour until 7, woot! + There's a parking lot in the back of the building.
