Would not recommend. One incredibly rude overly dramatic waitress named Victoria was screaming at a bartender in front of customers and then was screaming like a lunatic that someone only gave her an 18% tip. Ownership needs to train them better on how to act in front of paying customers. Not to mention the regulars can be really rude.... Like there's an obese girl that sits at the corner of the bar and one of the locals was saying how she looked like a gross human Jaba the Hut and they were making fun of one of the staff saying he looked like a skinny John Mayor with AIDS and a bad haircut and everyone was laughing. They were calling him John Gayer. There's so many better places in Evergreen to choice from. read more

Took my grands here for dinner. They chose off the kids menu, but they loved it They also shared a brownie dessert and are still talking about it. Ordered a Cheeseburger to be cooked medium. Burger came out with only a bun, cheese & extremely over cooked. No lettuce tomato pickle, nothing. Also the $4 upcharge for side salad is basically a ramekin sized bowl with 5 pieces of lettuce, piled with chopped tomatoes & shredded cheese. My friend had cheeseburger and fries. His was over cooked as well. We had to steal all the lettuce from the salad for our burgers. They skimped big time on the fries, too. Only a few on the plate. The meat in the burgers was low quality and had lots of hard bone/gristle chunks that we had to spit out. Service was okay. They were crowded on a Friday night. Beer was fine. Food was sub-par. The food is always spot on (the crab cakes are a must try!) and the servers make us feel like we are the only people there, all while keeping a packed house happy and well fed. I have to give a shout out to the brightest spot in the place, Victoria. She's been our favorite waitress for a long time. This lady's smile and sunny disposition, along with her super human ability to serve a table of 13 people without so much as a flinch (Yes! We dropped a large group on her after church one Sunday) and every single one of us received our meals in a timely fashion, hot and delicious, even when some of us had requested things a little different than what the menu offered. Had a great night listening to Josh Blackburn play here. We originally drove here for Josh. Not too far from home and such a cool, laid back place. Ever been to a bar and grill where you immediately feel like you're among friends, everyone is having a great time, you don't wait for a drink (or food, for that matter) and the music is just... bad as*? Total mountain vibe, lots of locals and all ages getting their groove on. This is that place. We ordered food as well. I had the Ahi Tuna appetizer and my guy had the Roast Beef and Cheddar Melt. Neither were plated as well as they could have been, but that aside, they both were cooked well and tasted amazing, particularly for a place we considered more of a bar than a pub. This was one of those "omg... this is amazing! So happy to find another cool hangout." The bar itself is pretty spacious and had several large seating options along with booth type options. Went here to hear my buddy's band play and had a great time. The food is pretty good for it being a bar and they have some good brews on tap. The only thing about this place is it's a little cramped where the band is at and every time someone goes in or out the door you get hit with an icy blast of cold air. Everyone here was having a good time and it's good to get off the beaten path. This place definitely has a mountain feel and you can tell the locals all know one another. No complaints about the service and it's great they support local music! read more

I think this place is the best in Evergreen. The management is superb their food is great and their drinks are Amazing.

Did takeout here tonight it was OK. I got salmon with grilled veggies and side salad. Boyfriend got the country fried steak and fries, and his mother got salmon and fries and cole slaw. My salmon was cooked very good, nice grill marks and melted in my mouth. But the portion was VERY VERY small. Not worth the $16.50 at all, not unless they were giving me double the portion. My side salad was good and the veggies were meh. The country fried steak was "eh" according to the boyfriend...and apparently it comes with brown gravy which is wrong (it should come with a white pepper sauce). His mother did not comment on her cole slaw. read more

My husband and I met my parents here for dinner last night upon my not-wicked stepmother's glowing review of their ahi tuna. As I've been trying to eat healthier, I decided to go against her suggestion and order the green chile, chicken tenders, and Hawaiian burger (ahem). The place is welcoming, and it appears that it's frequented by a lot of regulars and locals- everyone was very friendly, and the ambiance was divey and charming. It appears that they have live music on Wednesdays which sounds like it could be a blast! Traditional bar fare with the addition of ahi tuna (which I did try and admittedly was quite good), good prices, and above-average food. The service truly stood out, as everyone was attentive, friendly, and warm. I would absolutely return to try one of their many different burgers (I was eyeing the Cream cheeser (?) with avocado and cream cheese), a sandwich or wrap (my husband got the french dip and seemed to enjoy it), or desserts. Great pricing and they oft have appealing specials. Green chile was good (could use a little more pork), tenders were what you'd expect and want, and my burger was cooked perfectly. They have plenty of liquor and beer options with specialty beer nearly every week, and a good atmosphere. I just called to find out their beer selection (as it is not listed on their website). Bud, Bud Light, Stella Artois, Guinness, Shock Top, Redhook IPA. Come on! This is Colorado - craft beer bonanza and not a single Colorado craft on tap. They did have a nice bottle selection, but it is really disappointing to see that the restaurant doesn't care to offer anything more select than Redhook on tap. I was hoping this would be more than your run of the mill bar (especially considering they offer loco moco on the menu), but their tap selection proves me wrong. read more

What is good about this place: --Wi-Fi is really strong -- They have taps at some of the tables that let you serve yourself beer, which is a novelty to me. -- They have specials basically every day, which brings the cost of the overpriced menu items down to what one would expect to pay anyway. -- The homemade salsa is good. I tend to adjust my expectations in the mountains. I don't expect the same level of service or quality of food as I would in the flat lands. It's very, very hard to keep these places staffed with anyone who cares. The service here is friendly but not overly-efficient. If you stick with the specials you are likely to not be disappointed in the food. If you expect a "quality" experience you will likely find what other reviewers here have. read more

I got exactly what I expected. Really good food, I got the Southwest burger and girlfriend got the mac and cheese. Burger was good, but DAMN that mac was incredible. Kind of a tight space but the staff knew how to get to us and were very friendly. I stood out like a sore thumb because I'm down from Denver, a city slicker if you will. The food was good. The service stunk. I made a reservation and asked to sit so I could see the band. They didn't reserve a table for us and we had to sit right next to a speaker and we got blasted out. They took forever to serve us. We asked about my food and they never even answered us. Later all they could do was say its coming. The staff was very busy, but it was mostly talking to each other or looking at there phones. Don't waste your time. We've been there several times and the food greasy and place is dirty. Very dirty. They are also way too loud and rude. They are also terrible neighbors. They are up against a neighborhood and have just added outdoor Sunday music and it's so disruptive to the people who bought their homes nearby first. Went inside to find out we should seat ourselves outside. Waited a while for a waitress to get a beer menu and was told I have to go back inside to look at the menu. Told her my request and was later told they were out sold that beer. Asked for another and waited some more then decided to eat somewhere else.
