This is a little embarrassing as I have been meaning to write a review for The Wilde Resort & Spa since my kids and I visited two summers ago. First off, the resort is lovely - we loved our room, the view from our balcony was beautiful & the pool was perfect. Second and even more importantly to me, the staff was top notch, professional & so very kind. Long story short, my kids and I experienced a fairly big hiccup during our trip. On the way to Meteor Crater, my car got a flat tire & I had no spare. This happened on the highway & it was hot. The towing company took about 3 hours to pick us up & tow us to a tire place in Flagstaff where it took another 3 hours to get my tire replaced. Needless to say, we missed our day at Meteor Crater AND I felt like a horrible mom for not having a spare. While we were waiting for the tire to get replaced, I called the resort to ask what time the pool closed that evening in hopes that we could get back in time to salvage the day, mentioning why we would be late coming back. When we finally got back to the resort that night we had missed the pool hours but the nice young lady at the front desk told me they would extend our check out the next day so we could swim. My kids were so happy & really enjoyed their time at the pool. The extra time had already started to help turn our trip around but then when I went to check out, I found out that the resort had gifted us our stay. I was shocked but even more than that, I was touched that they would even think to do that. Talk about going above and beyond. While the resort is beautiful & I would go back for that alone, it is the kindness and compassion from the team at The Wilde Resort & Spa that I will ALWAYS remember. read more

Not bauee where to start, but every about this place is old, a remodeled motel that wasn't done well. From the ice make to the dors that arent sealed, to the bathrooms needing to be remodeled, it's pure old. Do not stay here. The doors are heavy and when guests leave, they slam hard and you can hear it in your room - There's no slow release hynge. The pillows, omg, are hard not good for neck alignment. The tv doesn't work. The reason for 2 data, is because they have sl movie night where they pull up a big screen on the courtyard and watch. They also have these cool fire pits & chairs. read more

My husband, daughter, her dog and I had a terrific stay mid-July at The Wilde. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and well taken care of. It is a terrific and welcoming place to stay with a pup. Our rooms were next to one another and spacious. Sedona needless to say is fabulous. Shout out to Cruz for the help he gave us along the way and to Katrina for some terrific hiking suggestions. The on-site restaurant is very good. We would all go back for sure! read more

I wasn't sure when I first got there, to be honest -- but the Wilde definitely grew on me! My room was large and comfortable (my client booked it for me, so I give him the credit). As others have noted, the hotel is right off a main road and there was some construction going on that started early, which I heard. But at night it was absolutely quiet and I slept well! Loved the decor -- the whole property is a fire pit-a-palooza, which I dug. I'm sure it's less expensive in the winter, but I would recommend going at least in the spring if not in summer. It was definitely chilly in my room even with the heat turned up -- there wasn't a heating a source in the bathroom so a bit of dashing around. I'll also say that having a smores making kit in my room was a real treat and lovely surprise! Overall a comfortable, chill experience -- I'd suggest requesting a room away from the front (I think the back section may also be where they house folks bringing pets with them). I love animals and love that this place was pet-friendly, but I know that's not for everyone. Didn't try the spa out so can't rate them. read more

I booked the Red Rock Release massage for $210 for me and my friend to celebrate his birthday. We had a group of 5 total (two others got massages and one got a facial). I chose this spa specifically because it was the only one that had a coed hot tub and pool area without a time limit. They do not allow access to the gym facility though unless you are staying at the resort. The others I looked into had 1 hour time limits for their hot tub/pool or didn't allow access to the hot tub and pool at all. Coming from Las Vegas we expected more from a professionalism stand point especially for the same price we pay in Vegas for the same service. When we initially walked in, there was no receptionist at the front desk and random wilted strawberries with a plastic container of chocolate dip sitting on the table that looked like it had been sitting there for a couple days. The front desk gal finally greeted us and gave us a quick "tour" but just walked us to the area we were supposed to wait for our services. Didn't show me the locker room, how to operate the locks, grab me a robe or sandals, or show me the steam room/where amenities were. The locker room is extremely small anyway so I guess it wasn't hard to find everything on my own. The receptionist said the robes and sandals were in the locker room but when I looked they were missing from the lockers so I had to ask people. She didn't tell us where the pool and bar was, we had to ask then wait about 15 mins for her to grab a key to get access as it is not accessible from the spa. When it came time for our services, all of the people getting messages (4) in our group were taken back 5-10 mins late and 3 of our massages ended about 5 mins early. During my massage with Luz, she said she would only work on my neck, back and shoulders. I thought that was weird but that was fine. During the massage I mentioned that I normally like pretty deep pressure. She literally did not respond, no words to acknowledge she heard me and no change in pressure. I politely asked if she could apply more pressure 2 other times and the same exact response, no acknowledgement of hearing me and no change in pressure. So I thought I didn't want to get annoyed or upset so waited a while then asked if she could work on the right side of my back and pointed to the exact spot with my finger where I wanted pressure. She didn't respond again! This happened 2 more times. The massage itself lacked flow. She jumped from my right shoulder to the left side of my back then to my neck and the right hip. She didn't follow her passes all the way through the muscles and didn't seem knowledgeable about where to apply pressure. She would spend a lot of time on bony prominences and overall the massage was less enjoyable than going to a random Asian massage place in Las Vegas and triple the cost. After the massage I met up with my friends and the only person who had a good experience was the one who got a fascial. Everyone else had their services cut short and the massages were lacking in professionalism, flow and technique also. Upon check out I mentioned my experience to the front desk and she said the massage itself lacked got was a Swedish massage and no pressure should have been expected. I responded with it's called a "release" massage so how would one expect any release without any pressure. This was all nerve mentioned by anyone including my therapist who was performing the massage. She acknowledged that that didn't make sense and offered to apply a discount to the services. I also told her three others in our group also didn't have good experiences and told us she would charge us full price then have the director contact me the next day. I said no why not charge us whatever discounted price you first offered then the director can adjust as he sees fit tomorrow. She then suggested she wouldn't charge us at all until we spoke with someone. When we got back to our Airbnb my friend who got a couple massage were charged full price! The next day we spoke with the director Jordan, who offered 50% off the service and to take off the gratuity after explaining everything that happened during our experience. After I got off the phone and looked at my bank statement he still over charged me by $30. ‍ I called back and left a message stating I was over billed and later that day he said he had refunded me $25.... Which was still $5 more than what we agreed to. Wasn't worth the headache to call back again, just won't be going back there ever. Seemed like all the staff had no experience providing a spa experience and charged as if they were a Las Vegas resort. This place is extremely over priced for how you are treated and would not recommend going here if you expect a luxury spa experience. read more

Located in West Sedona. We didn't stay here, but bought a pool day pass on resort pass. It's $25 per person and includes the pool, a hot tub and changing room. There is also a spa for a higher fee. It was a really quiet boutique hotel. I would consider staying here in the future, as their price was very reasonable and mid-range. The pool only had 6 other adults there. No screaming kids. There are some cool pool furniture. We came on a Thursday afternoon. The staff was amazing and there is a cocktail bar by the pool. Thanks for making our Sedona experience special. read more

Our stay at the Wilde Resort for my 40th birthday celebration was nothing short of exceptional. While the stunning Sedona views, comfortable rooms, delicious food and drinks at Rascal, and wonderful amenities made for an incredible getaway, the true highlight of our stay was the people. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome. The front desk team was warm, friendly, and always eager to help. The bartenders and servers at Rascal were fantastic, the pool bartenders were genuinely some of the nicest we've encountered, and the housekeeping staff never missed an opportunity to offer a smile and a cheerful good morning. Even the groundskeepers made an impression, graciously allowing us to enjoy the fire pits a little longer each evening and encouraging us to make the most of our time together. Most exceptional of all was our incredible group manager, Alyssa. Wow. She truly went above and beyond in every way. From the moment we started planning, she was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented. She answered every question with patience, anticipated our needs, and added the sweetest personal touches--from adorable welcome signs to special drinks that made our group feel celebrated from the moment we arrived. Alyssa's positive energy and genuine care transformed what would have been a great birthday weekend into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. She made a milestone birthday feel truly special, and I cannot thank her enough for everything she did. Thank you to Alyssa and the entire Wilde Resort team for creating memories we will cherish forever. Really disappointed with encounter just now. My family was staying at a family friend's cabin in Oak Creek Canyon and ordered to evacuate due to the Pocket fire. Stayed somewhere last minute last night and was hoping to book a room here for at least one night as I already booked a massage for my husband at the spa on Sunday. Tonight is sold out, which is totally understandable, but asked about the following day and was quoted a rate $50 higher than what's on web.I know it's a high-end place, but don't take advantage of folks during situations like this. Beautiful visit to the Wilde. Enjoying the cool down in the weather and the ire by the lovely fire pits. Gets dark quick. They brought up a telescope and we looked at the moon. It was quite nice and such a close look. The beer cart up here is adorable and super nice guy serving us. A definite must visit on a Saturday night. read more

I absolutely loved my stay at The Wilde Resort & Spa. It's a boutique hotel with all the comforting amenities to relax and recover from a long day exploring Sedona. There's a spa, a stargazing lounge, a temp-controlled pool, four hot tubs at 100+ degrees, fire pits galore, giant gemstones and crystals, an onsite "modern diner," a game room area, a meditation walking path aka a labyrinth, and a lot of daily activities. During my stay, we took a free yoga class, did a guided meditiation; we missed a few of their vortex discussions, a holiday cookie bar, and botanical drink demos. We stayed during a non-busy season (December) so our double-queen room was $300/night... comfy beds, two vanity areas, coffee/tea, fridge, a very large private patio that opened up directly to the fire pit area. Staying there two nights just wasn't enough for me. But I look forward to going back! read more

Booked through the American Express Hotel collection, we were treated well with a welcome cocktail and daily credit of $100 to spend. Overall decent experience here during our stay. It is in the middle of town so everything is near, has Safeway is just opposite to it, and plenty of food/drink options nearby. Rooms were clean and an upgrade was provided to us as well. They have a full schedule of daily activities and my wife went for Yoga one day as well. They have a restaurant called rascal on the premises and the food was good there. The staff has been very nice to us during our stay and they are very responsive too. For the price, it may not be the best we stayed but no bad experiences here. read more

The Spa was very disapointing. I selected a massage/wrap, and when the therapist walked me in he said it wasn't a massage. I wasn't there for meditation, and he started out with that. He basically just left his hand in place for 5 minutes and then moved it and again left his hand there for 5 min. So really he just wiped oil on me for over 200$. When we came in the hostess just showed us where the meeting room was, but gave us no guidance on the women's locker room or sandles etc. I have been to a lot of spas and this one was very disapointing. I would not go back. Their steam room is very small as well and the showers have curtains to separate one room with multiple showers. read more

For a resort known for healing, luxury, and Sedona serenity, the experience felt more rushed than restorative. While the setting is intimate and the spa menu promising, the execution lacked polish, flow, and attention to detail. The Spa & Setup: The welcome was brief and impersonal. We received the quickest spa tour of our lives--no moment to ground ourselves or get familiar with the amenities. Not ideal when you're seeking relaxation and calm. 30-Min Heated Mud Wrap Massage $80 each: This sounded unique and nourishing, but didn't land. My male therapist (A) admitted he wasn't experienced with the service and had shaky hands and forgot hygienic steps like covering the foot stools. My hand wraps were done incorrectly and had to be rewrapped by another staff member mid-treatment. My friend had to interrupt their treatment or get up and call for help. Technique felt scattered, inattentive, rushed, and inconsistent with the pricing/value. - - They applied a 10% discount to both services. 90-Min "Margarita on the Rocks" Scrub + Massage (Me): This treatment combined a body scrub and massage, but felt more like a disjointed production. V., my therapist, didn't perform the Lomi technique as listed nor seemed familiar with their spa service. Pressure varied wildly--from too intense on my neck and ankles to feather-light when I asked her to soften. At times I felt like a child the way i typically rush and slather Lotion on my kids post bath - there was no finesse just expediency. Transitions between steps were awkward, and at one point, she began a stomach massage I didn't understand . The room had bright lighting (no blackout curtains), fans blowing, a fly, and noise when she prepped between transitions. also too much time in between these preps --all of which pulled me out of my moment of calm. A few times it was uncomfortable like when she applied pressure on that sensitive space between the ankle and foot - like omg I gave a tip out of courtesy, but the experience didn't reflect the $$$$$ price point or expectations. I'd compare it to a step below massage envy but more expensive than my Vegas resort , cruises, international massages, San Francisco or Napa experiences. ---They gave me a 15% discount for this service. Hot & Cold Stone Therapy Massage (friends : $300): They requested a female therapist but were assigned a male. Once corrected, Tristan stepped in and gave a fantastic massage. He was the only provider who delivered a truly relaxing, skilled experience. They would return only for him. ---- This service was partially comped in full due to the provider mix-up. Other Observations: * Spa has a small, intimate footprint, which we liked * Mocktail happy hour was a lovely surprise * Lighting was too harsh; blackout curtains needed * Audible clomping and chatter disrupted the ambiance * No soothing wind-down--each service ended abruptly with providers exiting the room almost instantly * spa is open to resort members who don't have appointments so it felt weird and a little voyeuristic to be robed or lounging with random people who didn't fit the environment , had random walk throughs just peeking in - definitely a security concern for those of us barely closed - nice in theory- but there's a reason most upper scale spas limit it to patrons , it's about the ambiance * Overall feel: more like a strip mall hotel spa upcharge than a true healing retreat Total Cost & Payment: Our full service total came to around $800+, including my discounted massage, discounted mud wraps. I charged it to a room, which helped since they offer a $75 daily resort credit applied. We tipped Tristan and V, but not A or L, who failed to give us those cards and envelopes that other patrons received . Final Verdict: I wanted to love The Wilde Resort Spa--but the services were inconsistent, the flow was off, and the energy felt gimmicky and more transactional than therapeutic. For what was paid (even with discounts), it didn't match the Sedona spa experience I expected. Next time, I'll return to a trusted spot in Napa, Ojai, Calistoga, Vegas, or Sonoma for spa quality that reflects the price and intention. If you're booking here, ask for Tristan--he was the bright spot in an otherwise ridiculously expensive lackluster visit. read more

I brought this issue to the attention of the spa staff, the front desk, and followed up with a phone call. I was told a manager would contact me, but I haven't heard back, which is why I am sharing this experience. On two separate occasions, the masseuse rested his private areas on the palm of my hand. The first time, I assumed it was accidental, but the second occurrence felt intentional. I quickly moved my hand, left the premises, and because of this experience, I did not use any of the spa facilities for the rest of our stay--a large reason we had chosen to book here in the first place. This absolutely should not happen in a professional setting!!! Even before that occurred, the massage was uncomfortable and disappointing. I made my preferences very clear on three separate occasions--on the intake form, in person beforehand, and again during the massage itself--but they were ignored. When I spoke up requesting adjustments, the masseuse offered explanations and excuses rather than making the changes I asked for. I have never experienced this in any massage before, and it left me feeling that my comfort and clearly stated requests were not taken seriously. I walked in feeling slightly sore and expecting relief, but left feeling worse than when I arrived, experiencing a full migraine that lasted for the next two days. This significantly impacted what was supposed to be a relaxing and special occasion. It is concerning that neither the spa nor the hotel has made any effort to address or acknowledge this situation. We were assured by staff that a manager would reach out, and we also informed the front desk and followed up by phone to make sure our concerns were communicated. Despite these multiple attempts, we have received no response, which has only deepened our disappointment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future clients do not have a similar experience and the spa takes the necessary steps to ensure the professionalism and quality of its services. This is THE place to stay in Sedona! It's in West Sedona to be exact but the only thing you miss is the traffic. The rooms are cute, comfortable, clean and spacious. The entire property is the same way! From small sitting spaces with fire pits to larger ones in the Grove, there is no shortage of special spaces to enjoy. There is a labyrinth to calm your mind, hammocks to enjoy the weather either day or night, and yard games. There's a spa on site as well as a pool and spa area. There is also a second larger hot tub spa on property to enjoy the stars at night. This is what we did! The starry nights can't be beat! The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are huge, which was perfect for our family of four. We even extended our stay by an extra night. Check in was quick and easy. The canned drinking water is free throughout your stay. There are also activities for all ages throughout the week. There is lots of parking in open air lots. There is a good restaurant on site called Rascal. Check out that separate review. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again. read more

Staying at the Wilde Resort for an anniversary weekend. When we first drove up we didn't think it looked like much as it was very close to the main road. My first impression was that it didn't look like the pictures online. After having stayed here for 4 nights I can say that it was the perfect place for us to stay. As you go further into the grounds there are some really cute touches like the Grove which has an area with fire pits that are turned on every evening and you can sit around it to stargaze. The here are also hammocks and a meditation circle. I believe they also offer some yoga classes which we didn't participate in. You are greeted by the friendliest staff everyday who give you complimentary water if you just ask. The pool area was also really nice with a bar and you can order food from their on site restaurant Rascals. We also booked a day of massages at their spa and it was wonderful. My massage was outstanding just the perfect amount of firm and deep pressure that I asked for. They have jacuzzi tubs and a lovely sitting area to wait with snacks and lovely teas. At the end of our couples massage there was a Mocktail bar set up in that area which I thought was such a cute touch. Overall we had a lovely anniversary weekend and we would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change is that we would stay in the units further into the property at the Grove. read more

Even though we had a little trouble finding the main entrance, I must say this place is quite lovely. My friend and I stayed here for a night because it was her first time visiting Sedona. They had nice facilities and a lot of different things to do. Everyone we encountered working there was super friendly and polite. Our room was clean, everything was stocked, and when the TV is on when you arrive at your room, you know you're in for a treat. They have several activities you can partake in, but if you're the only ones who show up to them, it's kind of a letdown. But that's not any fault of the resort. The hammocks are god tier. This hotel was straight-up the worst experience I've ever had. Our first room had a huge leak -- water literally coming through the floor and the walls. Total safety issue. We told them multiple times and they acted like it was nothing. Zero urgency, zero effort, zero care. After hours of going back and forth, they finally switched us... into a much cheaper, downgraded room that we never agreed to and definitely didn't pay for. We asked them to either fix the first room and move us back, or give us a room equal to what we originally paid for. They refused over and over. At that point we were exhausted, so we used our old key (which THEY never deactivated) and went back into the room we actually paid for because we had left some items in the room from earlier Then the manager barged in acting like we broke into the Pentagon, escalated everything instantly, and called the police on us. All for trying to get our stuff from the room we booked. She kept lying to the cops saying we "refused to leave" even though we didn't argue and didn't cause a single problem. And here's the part that really messed us up: The way she talked to us felt racially charged. Her attitude, tone, and energy were completely different with us compared to what we saw with other guests. When we finally called out that her behavior felt racist, she got extremely defensive, raised her voice, and doubled down instead of even trying to understand where we were coming from. That reaction said everything. I've never had issues with any hotel staff anywhere else, but this woman? She had full bitter 50-year-old Karen vibes -- miserable, power-tripping, rude, and taking her personal issues out on paying guests. To top it all off, she refused to give back our deposit and said she wouldn't refund the remaining days even though THEY kicked us out. By far the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and hostile hotel experience we've ever had. Avoid this place like the plague. also wanted to note the 2 employees that helped us prior to the older woman with black hair and blue eyes, there was a red head named sarah , who literally was dismissive in the beginning, wouldnt acknowledge us, and had this socially awkward skinny boy(daniel i think was his name) come in his ear and whisper what she could've easily told us to our face and do all her bidding, you could tell dude couldn't even handle the pressure , which is ironic how he struggled to help us, but best believe when older karen was ready to call the police it was astonishing how quick he was to fling his phone out and had them on the line in 2 seconds, goes to show they were delayed in helping us out but to get us out of there, they were so quick to take action, i am not one to say or play the racism card, but i'm a muslim arab with a beard and my girlfriend is a tan mexican woman , it just felt like they didn't want us there the second they realized our ethnicity , anyways, i highly recommend if you are of culture stay away from this place, we ended up going to a different hotel around 10pm due to being kicked out and mind you 3 cop cars showed up as we left. i don't really care anymore at this point, but whoever owns this hotel i highly recommend you replace this useless staff , except the one older man who works nights on thursday he was actually the only positive interaction there. we stayed at the amara resort, 10x better than this ghetto place. and ps we got the chilequiles and there was a hair in it on my gfs bday , all of this happened on her bday and i bet my life that older karen probably moderates the yelp reviews and responds to people, if that's the case keep your fake "apologetic" response to yourself, because we know damn well you don't mean it read more

I've stayed at multiple hotels and resorts in Sedona, as my significant other and I visit every year to enjoy the beautiful red rocks. This was our first time staying at The Wilde, and what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service we received from Ali at check-in. People often say Sedona has a magical energy--and Ali absolutely embodied that. She made our stay feel genuinely special. She surprised us with a thoughtful birthday gift in our room for my wife: chocolates, champagne, and s'mores. It was such a warm, unexpected gesture and meant a lot to both of us. The resort itself is wonderful, but Ali was truly the highlight of our stay. Her kindness and hospitality made this visit memorable, and we will definitely be returning next year. We're already looking forward to staying at The Wilde again. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover. We were put off as soon as we spotted the resort on the main road next to a Safeway, especially for the cost of a room. But the interior spaces and outdoor fire pit areas are beautiful. Rooms are spacious and nice. Staff is very friendly. Rascal is good spot for breakfast and drinks. We just visited this place from Monday thru Friday the 8th. Things didn't go as well as we hoped, we stayed in the Suite above the Spa and found out at check in that the elevator was broken and had been for 3 months! we had our blind dog with us, and we had to carry her up and down all the stairs, I couldn't carry her because I have Arthritis and would have fallen down the stairs, very stressful. Nobody helped us with getting our luggage up to our room, since there was no elevator, they could have at least helped us, we're older. The spa was another problem, we came in on Monday to book a massage, since that's why we came to a spa, we were treated horribly by staff, I was speaking to one of the girls and we laughed, Mrs. orange glasses, shushed me! and told me to be quiet. Friday, we went into the spa after breakfast, it was about 9:35 we had a 50-dollar credit, and I wanted to get something to take home, the lady came out from the spa and said, "how did you get in?" well we came in through the open door, she then told us they don't open for another 10 minutes and kicked us out! as we were leaving a women came in and my husband told her they were closed, well they were for us, she welcomed the lady and just started socializing with her, we're very insulted and will not be returning, it was a mess. I had a bad feeling about booking here after I received a response to my first email inquiring about massage appointments for my two friends and me. The email was extremely short and lacked hospitality. He simply sent me a link to the booking page, which I'd already been to. But I continued with booking anyways. When we arrived there was no one at the reception desk and it felt like a ghost town. When the receptionist did arrive, she seemed half asleep. Right off the bat our spa day felt lackluster. The lounge area was very nice and I loved the crystal waters. I had requested a female therapist and was assigned Vicki. I wish I'd just ventured outside my comfort zone because my two friends had great experiences with Tristan and Jim. I did not have a great experience with Vicki. It was obvious how jaded she was. It would've been really nice if she'd simply asked where I was from, if this was my first time there...instead she briskly walked me to the room and was clearly very ready to just get it over with. She asked how I was feeling in my body and I said "pretty good..." and would've gone on but she wasted no time continuing with the spiel. She informed me that "Red Rock Release" is upper body only, which was not at ALL clear from the listing online. So immediately I was disappointed, and put off when she said full body would cost more. This was already the most expensive massage of my life. The massage was mediocre at best. It wasn't personalized in the slightest. I don't know if it was lack of skill or lack of care or both. She kind of jerked my arms out from under the blanket rather than gently placing them. She scratched my scalp with her nails. I'm bad at speaking up but she should've seen/felt me squirm. She asked how the pressure was and I said I could handle more. She said "as I explained in the beginning [she did], this is a medium pressure massage, so deeper pressure will be an add-on." Again, this was not at ALL clear in the listing online. Having money come up twice during treatment was really off-putting. I felt like I was getting some kind of cheapo discount massage for a very not-cheap price. For a massage with "Release" in the title, I would expect a decent amount of pressure to be used. I left feeling no different than when I arrived. Vicki also used way too much oil to the point where I felt gross, and the music kept skipping. I expected a little "sorry about that" when she finally fixed it. The locker room, meanwhile, really needs better signage and both shampoo bottles were nearly empty. This spa day was supposed to be a special part of our girls' trip to Sedona, where I'd never been. I was excited knowing it's famous for its wellness offerings. My stay at the Wilde was overall great and welcoming . It would have been perfect if It wasn't for the uncomfortable and unwelcoming advances and overall energy from some gentleman whom was wearing a bright highlighter colored shirt named Ted or Todd, whom from asking around I was told is the head of security or manager of some sort. This man seemed to follow me around and in my only dialect with him, he brushed very close to me and unwelcomingly delivered short and overall demeaning words of what felt like calculated spitefullness. I stayed here for valentines weekend with my partner last week and had the most amazing time. We were welcomed with champagne in our room. We stayed in the rooms above the spa which included a $50 credit towards spa treatments. The room itself was extremely spacious and clean. We got mud wraps and a couples massage and although pricey, both services were worth it. The staff were so professional and did a great job. The grounds were beautiful and although on a main street next to a few shopping centers, once in resort, it felt quiet and secluded. Loved stargazing from the hot tub. Only complaint is that the elevator in the spa building is out of service so we did need help bringing our bags to our room and there is no ice machine in the spa building so we had to go all the way back to the main building to get ice. read more

SEDONA ROACH!!! (Formerly Sedona Rouge Resort & Spa) Currently after hearing and reading multiple reviews I was inclined to post my experience, because now, it's more obvious this is a motel in disguise. Even after four years have passed, this place is not worth it; their management and staff still suck. From what I've heard it's worse now. I think people should know this place has a history of disappointments. I stayed here in 2021, and it was an awful experience. Too bad I have to put one star instead of none for this POS wannabe hotel and no spa. Upon arrival, there was construction, heavy equipment vehicles, taped off areas, piles of demolished material, all occupying the front parking lot. We drove around, and checked in. The guy in glasses at the desk was very customer oriented; nice, helpful, informative. We asked to make an appointment for SPA services, but the SPA itself was also closed and under construction. This was not communicated at the time of booking our stay. However, they did have a separate room setup to accommodate spa services... allegedly. We provided our name and number to be put on a list and then told, within an hour someone would call us back to book and confirm. 3+ hours passed with NO returned call, so we visited the front desk again. We were told AGAIN, someone will call us back that evening. That NEVER happened. We gave up on the SPA, which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, but I'm glad we didn't spend the extra money. All stairs across the property belonged in an abandoned building. They were deteriorating and the seventeenth coat of paint was peeling up, cracking, and hanging on for dear life. Beware if you have open-toed shoes! You may lose a toe or easily trip.... right onto a roach. We didn't have any roaches in our room (2nd floor) but they make it known they run this "resort". They were everywhere!!! My husband had booked this hotel to surprise me for my birthday getaway. He was very disappointed in the whole experience, the waste of money, and even more so that I was very disappointed at this place during my birthday weekend. This is review for the spa - we did not stay at the resort. We decided to treat ourselves to a massage on our last day after a week of hiking in Arizona. Spa was clean, nice amenities, and kind, polite staff. We enjoyed the complimentary tea and hot tub before our massage. The massage was very nice, although you could hear the guests in the waiting room from time to time (I do feel though those guests were talking particularly loud for a spa setting). Would recommend stopping in for a nice afternoon. read more

We stayed for 3 nights. It was a nice experience and good location. We used the pool twice and it is dog friendly. We wish they had ceramic mugs in the rooms bc they had a microwave and wine glasses, but no mugs, only paper cups. When asked for mugs the lobby attendant said to use the paper cups. Stayed two nights at resort for me and my husband's anniversary weekend. Arrived around 9PM with friendly staff. They greeted us with complementary water when checking in. We stayed on the first floor next to all the patio areas with firesides. Very cozy! The room was very inviting! Clean, fresh and relaxing. The resort staff left a nice anniversary gift in the room-chocolate truffles, a bottle of Prosecco, a crystal, and a nice card. Even though we were in the first floor, it was quiet. I was worried we might hear a lot of noise from the patio areas. The next day, we had a couples massage at the spa. Arrived to friendly staff to show us around the amenities. The spa served while fruit, hot tea, and plenty of water. Inside the locker rooms, are comfy robes and slippers. The message alone was so relaxing, I almost felt asleep. I enjoyed the hot towels on my back, feet and head. The music was soothing. We felt so refreshed after the massage. Afterwards, you are able to take advantage of the sauna inside the locker rooms. Overall, great experience! The only down side was the small state/local tax fees they hit you with after the stay. Also, I wished I would've scheduled our spa time earlier to take advantage of more time in the pool and relaxing areas. read more

Stayed here 2 nights in March/2025. This is not a luxury hotel, as their rating and name implies. The staff are mostly inexperienced young people who are not hospitable or professional. The spa area is small and underwhelming. It's NOT a four star hotel, more like 3 stars. The nightly prices to stay are high for what you receive in return. The rooms were spacious and nice. I would definitely stay here again in the future!!! The 2 ladies that work the from desk on Sunday June 18th were exceptional!!! We got early check in n a little late check out n also they gave us cold refreshing water. They were both so sweet n kind!!! The grounds are very clean, pool with the bar n food was most excellent, fire pits in the back part of the resort was nice n hot, they also had games back there, our room was such a surprise. Very clean with a fireplace..... awesome touch, shower had a rainfall showerhead..... wow, and the bed was so comfortable!!!! I could go on n on n on....... but I need sleep read more

My wife and I stayed here during the month of June 2023 for a weekend trip. We checked in Friday evening and were met / greeted with very professional and kind staff who were very informative about the resort and our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, and the grounds around the resort were well kept. The location is prime as its close to many of the trails in west Sedona, yet close enough to Uptown where driving isn't a chore. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it. PS: We brought our mountain bikes. Some rooms have balconies big enough to put them out onto the balconies - but ours didn't. Our room, however, had a spacious hardwood floor entryway which allowed us to put our bikes inside the room near the entryway without them being in the way. read more
