One of the nicest stays ever. This secluded yet accessible establishment allows you to drive short minutes to Sedona, Cottonwood or Clarkdale, and is highly enjoyable with its clean, well-appointed basics and welcome amenities - not to mention their welcoming and personable guest services staff. Whether for short or long stays, rooms are ample, clean with modern fridge, stoves, sinks, cabinets and eating utensils... comfortable beds, large windows and a good size balcony with table and chairs overlooking an immense patio offering gazebos, spa and multiple grills and seating area... not to mention a great firepit. Having opportunity to stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, and not a professional hotel reviewer, and not a regular business traveler, as a primarily pleasure and requirements traveler, I have developed what I believe is a concise system for grading the worthiness of each establishment experience. I must say, this is one of my top places to stay. My criteria are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score: 4.0 ]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score: 5.0 ]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score: 4.5 ]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score: 4.0 ]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score: 4.0 ]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score: 4.5 ]; Taking all the aforesaid categories in a measure of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel rates a: 4.3 . Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: it's vicinity to Sedona, Cottonwood, Clarkdale and Jerome. And its comfort as mentioned before. And, if you have not pre-planned your visit, there's a concierge to help you out! Most negative points found here are: were really none. My price to value to overall assessment is terrific - we plan on returning!

The cedar fire had such a pleasant fragrance, and the sounds of wildlife in the area and the views were unspeakable. Even though if feels like your out in the middle of nowhere, there are so many things nearby. I understand why there is a three day minimum stays, you will want to spend more time there to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. No tv is available and that was wonderful.

It truly feels like a little hidden sanctuary tucked into the beauty of Sedona. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. There is something about waking up surrounded by Sedona's red rocks and that incredible stillness that immediately makes you slow down and appreciate where you are. HORROR AT L'AUBERGE! 17 hours without a toilet!…read more My fiancé and I stayed there in late July of 2026. A few hours after check-in, we noticed that our toilet was not flushing properly, we called maintenance who quickly sent a technician to resolve the problem. With the toilet apparently fixed, my wife and I went out for dinner and a stroll around town. Upon our return to our room (3106), we noticed that the toilet was still not working and that a room change was probably in order. It was past 10:00 pm at that time, we were tired, so we decided to inform the front desk and deal with the problem in the morning and just go to sleep. That night we had to use the public resort restrooms and so the following morning, with the inconvenience that this implies. The following morning, we called the front desk to let them know that the toilet was still not working and that we wished to be transferred to a room with a working toilet. All we asked was for the same room class of better, which is customary in these situations. Front desk acknowledged our request and started working to "immediately transfer us to a different room". It's now 7:30 am and we still have not heard from the front desk, we go down to the Cress restaurant for breakfast, and we are informed that a suitable room has been found and that all it needs is the approval from the Director of Front office (Sarahlynn Huggins). We again use the public resort restrooms and return to our room awaiting an update. It's now 8:30 am and still no room and no working toilet. We call the front desk, and we are told that a different room has been found but that "unfortunately it is currently occupied by a guest", and that upon checkout & cleaning we can move into that room. Estimated time for this room to become available is between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. This is evidently not acceptable; we needed a room with a working toilet now. Finally, at 10:30 am, a room is being "inspected" after cleaning, and we are promised it will be ready in 20-30 minutes. We go to play pickleball and return an hour later. Still no room and now it will be another hour until is ready! The front desk manager (Sarahlynn Huggins) was extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and unprepared. I requested the General Manager's contact information, which she initially refused to give me and offered the "rooms manager" instead. I insisted and then she proceeds to give me Anthony Loiacono's contact information as the GM. My wife does a quick LinkedIn search and realizes the terrible lie (Anthony is the rooms manager not the GM). At this point the conversation is over. I can deal with incompetence, a bad attitude, but I definitely can't deal with liars. I reluctantly take the downgraded room and move on. We had booked (and paid for) a Deluxe room with semi-private balcony and fireplace. We were placed instead in a tiny room (fishbowl) with lots of pedestrian traffic and zero privacy. No refund is offered by the hotel. I proceed to file a formal complaint and ask for a copy of it, she refuses, then I ask to take a picture of the complaint, and she refuses again. 17 hours later we have a working toilet. This whole interaction goes beyond poor customer service. This place simply fails to deliver the very basic standards of human decency and honesty. Needless to say, we won't stay there again. Enchantment, Ambiente or even Amara provide way better customer service than this place. The case is now in the hands of American Express, who has opened a formal investigation for breach of contract.

There is seating down by the creek, on the patio off the main room, and inside the main room itself that all have great views. Our room was very spacious with a 2-person sized bathtub and a fireplace! It had truly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. First off, the resort is lovely - we loved our room, the view from our balcony was beautiful & the pool was perfect. Second and even more importantly to me, the staff was top notch, professional & so very kind. Long story short, my kids and I experienced a fairly big hiccup during our trip. On the way to Meteor Crater, my car got a flat tire & I had no spare. This happened on the highway & it was hot. The towing company took about 3 hours to pick us up & tow us to a tire place in Flagstaff where it took another 3 hours to get my tire replaced. Needless to say, we missed our day at Meteor Crater AND I felt like a horrible mom for not having a spare. While we were waiting for the tire to get replaced, I called the resort to ask what time the pool closed that evening in hopes that we could get back in time to salvage the day, mentioning why we would be late coming back. When we finally got back to the resort that night we had missed the pool hours but the nice young lady at the front desk told me they would extend our check out the next day so we could swim. My kids were so happy & really enjoyed their time at the pool. The extra time had already started to help turn our trip around but then when I went to check out, I found out that the resort had gifted us our stay. I was shocked but even more than that, I was touched that they would even think to do that. Talk about going above and beyond. While the resort is beautiful & I would go back for that alone, it is the kindness and compassion from the team at The Wilde Resort & Spa that I will ALWAYS remember.
