We are so fortunate to have talented and dedicated thespians in Williamsburg! The shows they put on…read moreeach year are so entertaining. They perform about six shows September through June, with a mix of plays and musicals in their own comfortable theater. Tickets sell for under $25 a show. Season ticket holders can easily exchange their tickets for another performance if they cannot attend the one they originally purchased. Parking is free in their lot. Concessions of beverages and candy support the theater. Local artists exhibit their work on the walls, which patrons can enjoy before the show and at intermission.

BDA has a motto of kindness first and it really shows in my childs smile and the friends she has made. The moms are really encouraging of each other and their dancers. Miss Jasmine and her team has shown nothing but kindness and compassion for the dancers and the children's dreams of creativity and expression through dance. It really feels like and extended family.

I can't say enough about their curriculum and teachers who are forming our babies into their most creative, compassionate, intelligent, confident selves! The program is so organized, well thought out and fun! I was blown away by the program when i had the opportunity to sit in on my daughter's class! All of the preschoolers are just thriving! Keep changing the lives of the children of this community BDA and KeKay! I can't wait for my baby girl to continue to learn with KeKay and one day join the dance studio too!!!!

The vet said I couldn't pick uo the cat before 2pm. I called to ask to change to the 7pm show. You said I had to be there before 2pm. It's a 45 minute drive. I would not have made it to you before 2pm. I worked at a movie theater. People would call up all the time to change their tickets and I'd do it over the phone. This is sh!t customer service.

Very cool historic site that has much more to offer than I was able to enjoy in a day. We got to see a barrel being made, a cannon being fired (dry fired), a court session, and lots of buildings and other historical items. The person I was with has been here a few times and said they have options to stay on site and also there are several very good places to eat. Would be a great place for the family or yourself if you want a piece of Americas history.

There's a lot of space and opportunity and they really miss the mark providing no real historical experience within the center itself. The outside structure of the visitor center is a C at Best. Gutters are falling off flashing is missing tiles need to be replaced. It's very tired compared to the visitor center down at Jamestown. I was disappointed that the plantation exhibit along the walkway looks to be overgrown and not often for public viewing. It used to be such a great experience to show what life was like for slaves and owners. The colonial town and structures were great to visit, but even several of those structures need more care... gardens and landscaping are mostly weeds and unkept. We got to downtown Norfolk at 6:15pm for a 7pm Josh Johnson show. I decided to park in the…read moreMacArthur garage which was less than a 10 minute walk from Chrysler Hall. I thought we were really running late and were going to l be rushing to get in before doors closed but we got in with 20 minutes to spare. Getting through security was a breeze. Allied Universal did a great job getting people through efficiently. I had a clear bag so they didn't even have to search through it. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the security at the door to the usher who helped us find our seat. We purchased our ticket on Ticketmaster and they were super easy to quickly pull up and scan using the Apple Wallet feature. The show was fantastic and Josh Johnson was hilarious. I do recommend that if you want to buy merch or have to use the bathroom you do so before the show ends because it's quite chaotic with everyone trying to leave at the same time. The location of the men's bathroom on the second floor goes against the flow of the crowd of you're on the first floor like we were. All in all though I highly recommend this venue and would not hesitate to see a show here again.

This historical location has the potential to provide many fun nights of local entertainment in Williamsburg. After recently attending an event at this location there are many things that needs to be worked on. The entertainment was wonderful! However, the organization was terrible. No one knew where to go, that you needed beer tickets to obtain beer, or where to go for the bathroom. There was one bathroom to the left of the stage on the hill open for an event where there was 2,000 people! There was an additional bathroom a pretty far distance from the amphitheater towards the front of the park. There weren't any signs to direct you to the park from the parking lot or to show where the VIP area was. Hopefully this location works out the kinks!

Walking in we were greeted by the wonderful attendants and our seats were surprisingly spacious in regards to leg room (we sat center orchestra Row J). Both my partner and I are tall so leg room is definitely a plus. The show was phenomenal and I feel so lucky to get to experience the arts here in Richmond! I would definitely reccomend a show here just for the ambiance alone, the theater inside is stunning with so many things to look at. Definitely arrive the 30 minutes prior to showtime to take in all of the sights.

Why is it that I always feel like I'm taking a flight when I go to see a show. This is absolutely true here as well. I'm at 6'3" and my neighbor was about that wide. To say it was an uncomfortable seat was a crazy understatement. Oh well, taking a cue from a discount airline: pack them in. I wouldn't be cranky if it was just the seat. The Roman empire did better in logistics for shows. Trying to go to the bathroom was a joke and don't even think of getting a drink during intermission. This place is just not laid out for a full show logistics. GO for the Nutcracker. Anything else, might not be worth the squeeze.
