It's a single-level theatre but the seats are angled well enough that no one's going to block your view of the stage. Really, any seat is a good seat. I attended the inaugural Virginia Cat Festival (day 1) here, with Jackson Galaxy as the keynote speaker. I enjoyed my visit all around and the venue was clearly clean and well-kept. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Every interaction was positive--from check-in, to the snack bar, to the performers engaging with the audience. Brandon and Hannah were especially great on stage, and they even took time afterward to show the kids magic tricks in the shop, which was a big hit. The theater is small and intimate (around 125 seats), which works in its favor. Even though the show wasn't completely sold out, the audience energy was high and made the experience feel lively and interactive. We were seated toward the back, but audience participation happened throughout the room, and several people from our group were still selected. Our group ranged in age from 5 to 75, and everyone stayed engaged the entire time. The show was family-friendly, upbeat, and fast-paced, with a nice mix of impressive magic and personal stories about the performers and how magic has shaped their lives. Overall, it was a fun, memorable experience for all ages. As locals, we're very glad we went--and we'll definitely be back!

Jeff Nicoloff, his improvisations were terrific. Good comedic acting. Just thinking about it makes me smile. I love theatre and this was a wonderful show right here in Williamsburg. With our seven-year-old along, it can be difficult to keep her still so this seat choice allowed us a little bit of space in a spot to lean and helped her stay engaged in watching the whole production. The only complaints that I have, is that when it is a full house, there aren't nearly enough bathrooms available for the short intermission. And of course, snacks and drinks are probably the same although, to be honest, I didn't stand in line for those so I can't say for certain, just from what I saw heading to the restroom. There was one bathroom to the left of the stage on the hill open for an event where there was 2,000 people! There was an additional bathroom a pretty far distance from the amphitheater towards the front of the park. There weren't any signs to direct you to the park from the parking lot or to show where the VIP area was. Hopefully this location works out the kinks!
