The Wine Cellar Outlet in Issaquah has possibly some of the greatest deals on wines in the city. With bulk pricing from 25%-45% off, how could that be beat? So many bottles retailed under $20 and with those discounts, can be yours for as low as $11, which seemed crazy to me. I had such a great time chatting with the sommeliers and learning from their expertise while trying new wines out. They were very helpful in suggesting bottles and explaining flavor profiles to me. They carry everything from local wine made in Washington to international wines all over the world, including small wineries from New Zealand, which are sometimes difficult to find. The store is set up well and lots on display to see. I'm looking forward to being back and trying some new wines next time. read more

Here for a Yelp event but ended up buying 8 bottles at a reduced rate after finding some delicious options! The crew there were so kind and helpful in finding wines. I was pleasantly surprised by the cranberry wine- just the right amount of sour without being overpowering! We grabbed some other wines and took the leap and made some great choices! We loved the low pressure atmosphere- they were just there to help find what we would like and they did a great job of picking some great ones! Nice boutique Wine shop with wines from all over the world. They hosted a global wine tasting and had some cheese, crackers, fruit, deli meats for the pairings. The wine shop employee who was pouring was nice and friendly but I don't think she was very knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting. She had some remarks that were not accurate about the wines All in all it was a nice wine tasting experience. read more

A return visit, after attending a Yelp elite event here. I was in the area, and have been wanting to stop by, as it happened, I was waiting for take out in the same area, how convenient! I stopped in, hoping they would have some of this years Beaujolais nouveau, not yet, but I found out, they also have tastings available, Mmmm? Friday night, looking for something to serve with a coworker's fresh caught coho salmon? James was serving just the right wine, A blend from France ' Fisherman's Return' looking forward to trying with the salmon tomorrow night! An interesting find worth stopping by if you're in the area. The man working was very pleasant but knew very little about the wines. Fortunately, they have a wide variety of international wines you can't find at other shops and always have 7 or so bottles open for tastings. Super cute! Quaint little wine shop in a underwhelming shopping strip. I wouldn't have thought much of this place until I went inside. The selection is pretty good for the space! Seems to have a well thought out layout and they definitely stock it well. LOVE that they do wine tasting! It's so fun to be able to try a few diff wines before buying a random one. I also enjoyed the staff very much! I forget her name, but she was SO entertaining and a great person to have running that little shop! Such a great experience! I came in with 2 other girls to surprise my friend for her birthday with a wine tasting before going out to dinner. The host was super accommodating with allowing us to bring in the balloons, cake, and flowers that we had for our friend. She even supplied us with some plates/forks which was so sweet of her! We bought a Groupon that gave us a large credit on wine, so we were able to leave the store with a variety of different wines that we either tasted or had a great recommendation on. This place is great. My boyfriend and I have been here twice to find gifts. What better gift than that of a holiday forgot? Kidding. But some of their wine packs a punch and for a very good price! Not to mention their wine is sourced from Italy, Spain, Chile, France, and of course the good ole PNW! Staff is super friendly and welcoming and they love when you take advantage of their daily wine tastings and deals.
