I almost always have to find someone to open up for me (wandering around like a lost nerd with my empties) and while they're super nice, it makes me fell like i'm interrupting them. That aside.... 1) I get why they moved the singles... now they're cold next door. 2) Excellent prices. Discounts during happy hour and if you bring two+ growlers. 3) Nice staff (although the station owner is the best because he seems like the real beer drinker of the group and knows the most). 4) They fill the growlers well on a consistent basis. Some shops cut ya short with foam and such. 5) While there are some dull 'standards' on the brew list, they do get some fun stuff in. 6) You can go online and see what they have on tap... and they actually update it pretty well. 7) 50 taps!!

The business is tucked in this small corner of Woodinville down a side road I didn't even know was there. Across the street from the Cut Shop. Upon entry, we were greeted by Jay behind the counter who is gregarious and knowledgeable of the industry. We tried several wines and enjoyed the differences with each. Jay was a highlight of this visit and is a gem for Martedi Winery. In the front area, there is a nice photo-ready backdrop made with old wine barrels and ambient lighting that is really pretty. There is also plenty of seating in the lobby area for tastings. Oh, and you can sign up on a list for volunteering at their annual grape pressings, etc. It sounds like a hoot! After all the sampling, I ended up buying a bottle of their 2024 Nonno's Wine with their Summer Sale discount. Fairly good deal. It's also a good table wine for dinners and is easy to drink. The little story on the back labels of each of these wines is a nice touch an personalizes each vintage.
