While in the area I decided to stop in prior to attending a showing of the Broadway play The Wiz nearby at DPAC. A friend purchased a Gift Card for me years ago after learning that I enjoyed my experience at a wine tasting & small bites event at their sister location in Downtown Raleigh. That location has since then closed and I had not gotten around to visiting. Upon arrival I sat at the bar and was kindly greeted. The bartender shared with me my options for redeeming my Gift Card. I decided to have a wine flight and small bites before heading to DPAC. I chose the Charles Gonnet French White wine. The wine is made with Jacquere grapes grown organically in clay and limestone soil. It is medium-bodied and dry with melon rind, green almond, and pear notes. Very nice. I also chose the Brooks Rose . This rosé wine is made with Pinot Noir grapes from Willamette Valley. Lastly, I had a Greek white wine called Tethalassomenos. A famous wine of ancient Kos (4th century BC). In ancient times wine was diluted with water before consumption (krasi). However, the Ismiotes (Municipality of Kos who lived in Kefalos in the present Greek region) diluted it with sea water. Each chosen paired perfectly with my appetizer or choice, the Burrata Crostini. This was topped with sprouts(micro greens) and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed winding down here prior to attending the show. I highly recommend this as a nice place to enjoy prior to or after a show in the area.

I recently went to The Wine Feed in Durham and had such a great time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I love that they offer wine in multiple ways: there's a retail section for bottles, a wine bar, and a full restaurant. It really gives guests a lot of variety, no matter what kind of experience you're looking for. For appetizers, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Sliders and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and both were absolutely amazing. Everything was packed with flavor. If I had planned to drink more wine, I definitely would've tried the Cheese and Charcuterie Board because I saw one at the table next to us and it looked incredible. There were four of us at the table, and we each tried different entrées. One person ordered the Crab Risotto, which was full of flavor and had a nice kick of spice. Another ordered the Sweet Corn Carbonara--the sweet corn cream sauce was phenomenal and the fettuccine was cooked perfectly al dente. Someone else got the New York Shrimp with a seasonal arugula salad and balsamic demi-glaze. It was seasoned to perfection and didn't need any sauce. I had the North Carolina Catch Special, which that night was shrimp and scallops served over a bed of vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything we tried was bursting with flavor. The service was phenomenal--the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The only small downside was that they had run out of straws, which I personally like when I'm drinking, but it was hardly a dealbreaker. Overall, The Wine Feed delivered on all fronts: atmosphere, food, wine, and service. I'll definitely be back.

I've been here numerous times, and each visit is truly an enjoyable experience. Erin and the entire staff are incredibly helpful in guiding me to the perfect wine, whether I'm pairing it with a meal at home or just enjoying a glass at the bar. The food menu is also fantastic; I highly recommend their pasta, which I believe is made in-house. I'll definitely be back soon!

A cute and quaint wine bar with a varied selection and a tasty food menu. We had the Brussels which has a good sweet chile glaze, shrimp risotto, and chicken florentine flatbread. We also both ordered the $15 wine flight which had significant pours. I would return here to try their brunch.

My husband and I stopped at The Wine Feed to pick up some wine that they special ordered for us and we decided to stay for date night. It was amazing! I feel bad that we hadn't been in such a long time. We shared a flight of reds and then each ordered a glass of our favorite one. We shared an absolutely delicious brussel sprout appetizer and each had our own entrees. I love the ambiance in there and the service was excellent. We will definitely go back for future date nights.

Most reliable place to grab a great wine and some of the best dishes in durham. I'm so excited that they're bringing brunch to their offerings too! This is one of the staples that makes durham dining and culture so special.

We had come here just for wine when they first opened but recently came back after seeing in their email that they were offering mimosa specials. Staff were very friendly and we had the munchies so we ordered a mushroom flatbread. The food is surprisingly good for a place mainly known as a wine bar. We saw on their emails that they also occasionally have special themed dinners paired with wines, so we'll have to try that some day. We stopped in on another night when they were offering free wine tastings from one of their suppliers.

Always a great space to return to! Chef is fantastic and the wine is always flowing and paired in a way that is sublime.

Well geesh, I've only been here 30 or 40 times, seems about time for a review?! Given I've been a longtime customer and fan of the original Raleigh Wine Feed, it only would make sense that I would be a fan of Wine Feed #2 in Durham! It feels like the original Wine Feed but with a much larger space and back-lounge with decorative fireplace. They've also got a larger menu of small snacks and plates for those who want to hang out a bit, expect more on that food menu, soon! But what makes the Wine Feed, the Wine Feed is the laid-back staff! Knowledgeable, personable and helpful, the Phils and Brianna make sure that you get some great wine without any of the wine snobbery you can often run into. The bottles here are in the affordable $15 to $30 range and they make an effort to offer up more unusual varietals that you might not normally try. The crowd at Wine Feed Durham is mostly the 25 to 45 range, a mix of young professionals and those in the know. And with its convenient location right off of S. Roxboro Street, it's a quick stop for me when I head into downtown Durham. So stop on by, relax with a good glass and enjoy some conversation at the Wine Feed Durham! They'll also soon be adding a new patio area as a bonus, suh-weet!

Prior to coming here, I had never heard of C'est si Bon at all. I didn't know there were places that offered private facilities to have cooking classes, or maybe I just never sought it out. At any event, this was all arranged by management. My colleagues and I came here to cook, and walked away gaining new skills in the kitchen. We were divided up in teams, to make different dishes. Each team were given an ingredient list and instructions, which were helpful. We were so grateful that this event didn't require making random dishes from a surprise ingredient, like a Gordon Ramsey show. Whew. Honestly we'd be doomed if that were the case. The instructors walked us through each teams worries. We had about 5 teams, each in charge of: rice, meat dish, pizza, dessert, salad and a side. We all learned different techniques and managed to finish on time. It was nice to feel accomplished and enjoy our creations after the hour or so of insecurity. Whats funny is that my colleagues act so so tough in corporate meetings, but for the ones who don't cook, it was fascinating to see them in a vulnerable cooking environment. For the ones who do cook, you got to see them be even more pompous than in the board room, ha! Overall, it was an excellent experience. The staff were absolutely wonderful, the venue was beautiful, it was a hidden tucked away farmhouse-ish place in Chapel Hill. It was probably pricey, our VP paid for it, but nevertheless worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to go outside of their comfort zone, learn new skills and partake in some delicious food!

Finally this past summer he was able to attend one of the camps. After all that time and build up all I can say is... Meh. It's not really a cooking school for kids, but if you have 8 or 9 yos that need something to do and you want them to stir a bowl or pretend they are cooking for twice the price of other summer camps, then this will suffice. They don't provide any of the recipes to the kids to take home with them, individual kids only learn how to "cook" 1 of the 4 items they prepare each day. No actual cooking skills are taught. Head chef proved why chefs have a reputation for being unpleasant to deal with. I would not recommend. Since we were again not able to enroll our child last summer we hired a local chef to give a 4-day cooking class to our son at home, ended up being cheaper and he learned a whole lot more. Recipes, knife skills, prep work, flavor pairings... All the things that CSB are not.

They have 2 locations- Raleigh and Durham. The entire store is filled with wines from all over the world. The best part? None of them are from big companies. The owner/ founder of Wine Authorities has been working with a lot of the wineries for many years. They taste every new batch they purchase to ensure quality. Although they have many businesses they've been working with for a long time, they go to wine shows and events in Europe to discover new ones! I like my wine very sweet but there were so many choices that I was a bit overwhelmed. I asked the nice lady at the register to give me recommendations and I loved the wine she recommended. If you are a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, just ask for help. They are very informative and helpful! Aside from their amazing wine, they also have beer, cider, sake, hot sauce, honey, meats, and etc. You will find at least one thing you will love. On Saturdays, they have free wine tastings from 12-3pm! If you cannot make it there on time, you can always buy a bottle or two. They will give you glasses to drink in the back or outside if the weather is nice outside! You can also buy snacks or cheese to go with your wines. Also, if you are a little hungry, you can buy a bottle from Wine Authorities and head to Thai Cafe next door and they will let you drink there without extra charge!

We attended the Summer Vegetarian class. Kate gave a brief intro to what each station entailed, and you could pick one that you wanted to work on. Kate and her assistant would walk around and help as needed, and call everyone over at certain parts to show how things were being prepared or cooked. Most of the food she was as using she had bought at the farmers market. We had some appetizers while finishing up the cooking, and at the end we all sat together in the dining room for a full meal. All of the food was delicious! Kate sends the recipes out via email after the class. I will definitely be trying some of them out at home, and looking to take a class in the future. Don't expect to master any of the recipes during this class, but you will gain some tips and come away with a full belly and some new recipes. We got to rotate through various stations and Katie did some of the more intensive cooking, like the deep frying. She was very helpful with tips and checking to see how everyone was doing. After everything was cooked, we sat down to eat. Boy, there was a lot, and everything was delicious! We made gnocchi, pierogies, momos, potstickers, samosas, and apple dumplings.
