Love, love, love this local butcher! We enjoy their $49 and $79 grilling packages often during the spring and summer months. The loaded potato salad is amazing, the bourbon maple steak tips melt in your mouth, teriyaki chicken breasts are delicious and the steak house burgers are perfect for a night of grilling! The Meat House is the perfect place to buy high quality meats, especially for grilling and tailgating. The Meat House has won Best of NH and they've had a booth at the Taste of Concord. This butcher shop is located near the Route 3 and Route 106 intersection. The layout of the store feels a bit cramped. The shop has a long display case stocked with premium steaks, filets, marinated tips, chicken, sausages, hot dogs, burgers, lamb, pork, kabobs, and much more. They also carry prepackaged meats including the BBQ ribs plus cheeses, cold salads, ready to heat foods, Mitchell's dips, chips, and bottled beer in the cooler, as well as frozen foods. There's also fresh vegetables (not a big selection), wine rack, shelves stocked with marinades, seasonings, sauces, imported pasta, pies, and baked goods. We were greeted by a friendly guy from behind the counter who gave us a free sample of marinated steak tips to bring home when he found out it was our first time there, and he gave us a mini tour of the whole place. Great beer and wine selections also. They have everything you could want in standard meats, but they also have an exotic meat section that we are eager to try, with everything from duck to alligator and more! This was my first experience here. I ordered prime strip steak @ 23.99/lb & can honestly say they were unimpressive. There was a huge strip of fat on them, which caused big flare ups on the grill which I have never experienced with strip steak before. Also, the inedible grissle present was a first with strip steak. I would have expected that with rib eye, but not strip which is why we prefer it. I was VERY underwhelmed with this visit & don't plan to go back. read more

This place is AMAZING!!!!! The selections are great. If you need to grab something quick to cook you can just visit the cooler and grab something pre packaged from meats, salads or even vegetables. If you are looking for something more or want to engage, got some extra time, stop by the counter. You wont be sad you did. I think the Meat House has dropped their standards in the last few years. Meats are over marinated; when you cook them they fall apart and the texture is mush. Purchased premium steaks at a premium price...not worth it.....big slab of fat instead of uniform marbeling in the meat. The store layout is cramped. read more
