I am a fan of the Winey Wench. They just opened a bar in the Sanford Mall food court. They served all the classic wines, beers and their famous slushies at this location. They have a pirate theme going on. You can bring your food to the bar. There is trivia is on Wednesday evenings. We discovered this place on our way out of the mall. It was already 9 pm. Even tough they were closing, they were nice enough to serve us.

Unfurl is somewhat of a hidden gem that many customers outside of Sanford might not know about…read more Unfurl resides in the historic building where Horstmeyer Farm and Garden used to be. The building is huge inside and out. The Unfurl Collective is inside towards the back just past Seventy3Moto. Inside you will find a unique collection of art, home décor, vintage items, clothing, hand-made jewelry, books, furniture, essential oils, home-made jams and honey, and much more. In the past I have seen where Unfurl has hosted musical classes; currently they are hosting craft classes at $20 a person. I believe the owner of Henry's Depot (Shawn) is also owner of this building and rents the space out to other small businesses. Usually when there is a big event at Henry's Depot, such as the annual Volkswagen car show, it spills over into the lot of Unfurl, which isn't a bad thing. When I was at the Volkswagen event the other day, 73 Moto was putting on a vintage motorcycle show in the lot of Unfurl. In the lot there was one vendor sculpting bear heads out of stumps with a chainsaw, a different vendor selling riding gear, another selling vintage motorcycle items, and another vendor selling cigars and accessories. Once inside you can grab a beer at the Basins pop-up bar, go back and watch the band or shop at 73 Moto or Unfurl. The pop-up bar and band are usually only here for special events; however, you can shop at 73 Moto and Unfurl during normal business hours. Unfurl is a great little store and I highly recommend you check them out if you're shopping in Sanford.

Vera Bradley's paisley creations adorned the entire back portion of the store and were well displayed. Not only do they sell her purses, but they have many of the newest accessories such as the stationery line. They also offer Fossil purses and wallets were all very lovely. New to me, I noticed a cosmetics/skin care line called Ahava which seemed to be endorsed by Kristen Davis of Sex & The City. They also had girl friendly designer napkins, decorative signs for your home, lotions, greeting cards, and everything in between including silver platters which were engraved with "Gators." It was priced in the middle of expensive and moderate but to me would be worth the money because most of what they offer was timeless and put together with quality in mind and not quantity. I am a fan and was happy to have discovered this gift shop.

They have beauty products, purses, home accessories, and even some decor items. The Good: Plenty of Ideas: This place is a great "go-to" place when you need a gift for that friend that has everything. There are plenty of unique items that you can get including stylish bags and impressive glass pieces for the home. The Bad: Feels a little random: There is no way to go into this place and know what you are going to get. There is so much stuff in so many categories that it is difficult to know what you ant here. Do you want make-up? Do you want a vase? Who knows? Prices: This place is definitely high end, and if you do plan on buying a gift for a friend here plan on dropping a few bills. Overall 6.5/10= An Inkwell of possibilities

I have…read morevisited the \Winter Haven and Winter Park locations but this is my first time experiencing their first location which opened in 2012 in Altamonte Springs. Adjectives Market was founded by former attorney Jeremy Thompson and they have now grown to five locations. Adjectives Market sells new, antique, and vintage items. They focus on unique but affordable items. The idea for adjectives came to Jeremy from his love of the kind of vintage markets you find in New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He wanted the store to show how vintage items could be incorporated into modern design. Adjectives was chosen for the name of the store because it represents the large vocabulary one would need to describe it. Each store curates new and vintage inspired home decor. I was blown away but how large this store is. There are multiple rooms filled with furniture and home decor. Everything was so beautifully displayed. They also sell holiday decorations, clothes, accessories, and jewelry from a mixture of artists, home decor experts, and craftsmen. You are sure to find things you have never seen before. This store answers the problem I have when I go to antique malls or stores. You can see an item you love on a dusty shelf but you can't work out in your mind how it will fit into your space. Everything here is displayed in such a thoughtful way that you can easily imagine it in your own home. I especially love to visit when they have all of their holiday decor out. If you are looking for a one of a kind gift, this is the perfect place to shop. I could spend hours exploring this store and I literally want everything. I just wish they would open in South Florida. For now I have to be content with visiting them in Central Florida.

This place is the best spot to find a gift! Jewelry, fragrances, super unique home decor... you could spend alot of time in here browsing. We came in during the Christmas season, so we picked up a couple ornaments for our annual Christmas ornament exchange. My husband also gifted me the cutest hat from here! If you haven't stopped in- I highly recommend.
