I have never enjoyed the process of a remodel until I hired this Designer who has an impeccable team that works with her. She is creative and has an eye for style in whatever I've explained I like. I really cant say enough good things here but my favorite points to share are: 1. great design 2. great team of skilled workers 3. attention to details 4. no excuses-projects finished on time 5. good vendors/for picking out materials etc. Le Petit Chateau made it fun to improve my property. I hired Elsa to help (aka - take over) all wedding decor. She and I exchanged a few emails and she pretty much took it from there! She got my vision and executed against it flawlessly. I met with her in person at the venue walk through where we covered a few remaining details. Words cannot describe what a relief Elsa was! She was at the venue early, already setting up by the time I arrived. She created incredible and unique centerpieces consisting of vintage books, small vases, tea cups, and flower blossoms. She also presented my seating cards in a totally unique way - she hung them from suspended frames. Now if this isn't enough to win you over, Elsa did something that SHOCKED me. Throughout my wedding planning I often felt that my venders were over priced and taking advantage of the fact that I was trying to coordinate my wedding remotely. A few days after my wedding, we were opening the cards we received from the wedding and found one from Elsa. She wrote us a kind note and included a check for a partial refund. In her note she explained that a few of the flowers she purchased for our centerpieces had wilted and she wasn't able to use them. The day of the wedding, I had no idea this was even an issue because everything looked perfect. However, Elsa's honesty is refreshing and I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Elsa! Interior…read moredesigner recommended a gal to make drapes for dining room and she sub-contracted out the shades. Windows West was the vendor she used. In addition to other items, we bought blackout shades for 3 bedrooms. Various shades have broken numerous times, one particular shade has had to be repaired 4 times, twice sent back to the factory for repairs that couldn't be done on site. I wish there were a lemon law for home furnishings. The rep for northern California, D'Artagnan (no, he's not as helpful as a musketeer), is nice enough but it sometimes takes him weeks to make his way down to the San Francisco area and so we must live with a shade that is half-way down, making the room dark during the day and letting in the light early in the morning, and just looking like we're hillbillies with a crooked shade hanging in the window. Latest mishap is that the cord to the shade in my daughter's room snapped 6 weeks ago. Got a replacement cord at no charge but cannot get it into the control box. I've sent 4-5 emails, they say they'll look into it and then I hear nothing. I wish I'd done some research and not just gone with the company that the designer recommended. (She no longer uses Windows West after my experiences.)
