What a lovely little place. They even had organic ketchup, real butter and homemade jam!! Mushroom omelet was top notch, as was Anna's buckwheat pancake. Coffee was very good, but we brought our own heavy whipping cream. Please, Woodrose, stock up heavy whipping cream for those of us not satisfied with half and half!! Good thing I called first so we knew to go to Ray's and get our own before we came in. Lovely decor, very friendly and accommodating staff! We rolled into town for the weekend with 30 Harley Owners group members and had dinner at Woodrose Cafe. Excellent food and service. I had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich and side salad. Nice thick Mary's Chicken. My wife had a pasta with broccoli & chicken. Also delicious. Others had the rib eye steak, bbq ribs etc. thanks to the crew for dealing with such a large group. read more

Solid brunch place in Garberville, we ended up here after the terrible service at Benbow and this place didn't disappoint. They were very busy on a Sunday so our coffee took a while to arrived , we had to asked twice. However solid brunch, I had an egg bene with spinach and ham and my husband had the full house , it was the breakfast plate for the champions for sure. The chicken apple sausage, the jelly for the toast and their fresh mix just was the highlight of the meal. This causal, no frill , diner style restaurant was just what we needed. If you're looking for a homey breakfast spot - this is the spot! It's like being at your mother's house ! My coffee cup was never empty ..free refills and they have freshly squeezed OJ! They have healthy food options ..they have gluten free and vegan options too. They make their own hot sauces, which you can try with your meal! We received the wrong order (received an egg dish when I am allergic to eggs) The restaurant acknowledged their mistake but refused to refund the order. Woodrose is a cute cafe off of the main drag and from what we saw, they stay pretty busy. We were looking for some vegetarian friendly options and found something for everyone. You must try the fresh carrot juice! It was so good, I swore that my vision improved after drinking it. I ordered the special: a poached egg on a sourdough English muffin with melted vegan cheese and their fried potatoes. I loved everything and cleaned my plate. My friends ordered the French toast with sausage and an omelette. Both were good. We had great service, a wonderful meal, and we left full. This one is a keeper! read more

Was looking for a place with food for my vegetarian and gluten free friend nearby. Found this place and we were pleasantly surprised with the food. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. I wanted tri tip but they were sold out and got their teriyaki mushroom burger instead. It was juicy and flavorful. My friend got the veggie burger on a gluten free bun and my other friend got the ultimate burrito. The burrito is not one you can pick up and eat but must cut with a knife and fork. The ingredients were fresh and we enjoyed our food. Service was decent as well. They were busy and it took them a little bit to refill waters, etc but we would return. read more

At first I was disappointed because we thought we were going for lunch only to find out that it was a weekend day so they were serving brunch and therefore only the breakfast foods.
