Great food and service. We were there during a golf tournament and had the place to ourselves for a while. The view is beautiful. Food was great and the waitress was so friendly, efficient and fast. And the pancakes were GREAT!

Formerly Hugo's from up the hill, The Worden has taken over operations and moved to the Oasis Golf Course. The Worden offers up breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Dinner Thursday-Saturday starting at 5pm. Reservations for dinner are mandatory . I came for lunch and even though the restaurant was crowded, l still was promptly seated . I ordered the chicken Philly. It was delicious! The whole sandwich was made to perfection from the perfectly toasted bread to the flavorful chicken. The service was attentive. The food was great. Watching the ladies at the other table get plastered off champagne while dishing out the latest Mesquite gossip. PRICELESS! There is a huge parking lot, so finding a space isn't an issue. There is also a nice little bar with bar seating. To the right of the restaurant is a banquet room you can reserve for private events . Can't wait to try dinner on my next visit.

Very good food!!! Service was great too

Just as described o.n menu and portions just right. The service wasn't the best, we had to ask for our coffee to be refilled and the server forgot my toast. We had to flag down someone for both the coffee refill and to ask for my toast. The diner was not busy and I am disappointed that the server was not attentive. You know normally guest are served and then the server checks back after a few minutes to see if you need anything else. Well not the case here.

They replaced the meal, but that should never have made it out of the kitchen. On my most recent visit, I ordered a roast beef sandwich. The meat had a strange sticky texture, that I later noticed after 55% completed and later that day I developed severe stomach pain and digestive issues. I hadn't eaten anything else that day, so I was very concerned. To make matters worse, communication with several staff members was difficult because of the language barrier. I had trouble explaining my order and asking questions, which only added to the frustration. A restaurant that's built around the image of a classic American 1950s diner should deliver good food, good service, and clear communication with its customers. Unfortunately, my experiences have fallen well short of that. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.

When we walked in, there was a couple ahead of us, and the two female employees were patiently going over the menu with them. When it was our turn, the employee at the register whispered something to her coworker while staring at my husband and me. She then continued to stare at us without saying anything, which immediately made us uncomfortable. When she finally asked how many were in our party, my husband replied "3," and she responded by saying, "You guys don't belong here." We were shocked and uncomfortable, so we turned around and walked away. As we were leaving, the coworker next to her--who I assume was a manager, dressed in black--and an older woman in a red uniform yelled after us saying, "She was just playing." Regardless of whether it was meant as a joke, it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We never even got the chance to sit down or order. I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, but as a Hispanic family being treated differently than the customers before us, it definitely felt upsetting and concerning. This was a very disappointing experience, and I hope no one else has to go through something like this.
