I wasn't substituting anything--I was literally asking them to leave ingredients off the salad. When I questioned it, I was told, 'It's just our policy.' I've never encountered a restaurant that charges customers extra for eating less food, especially when it's due to allergies. The salad was fine, but charging allergy-sensitive customers more for a safe meal is disappointing and not customer-friendly.

Especially next to the huge burger and huge turkey club sandwiches they were bringing out. There were a LOT of flies and bees around our table constantly. All other tables had one of those fly fans on them, but we didn't get one. The flies were abundant and annoying. This was the first meal we've eaten at Big Sky, so I can't say whether or not we would return. Perhaps at dinner. It has a great reputation. But I wouldn't order the steak sandwich again.
