I have had great hot dogs just about everywhere around the world and yeti dogs are right up there. Good quality dogs and fresh good quality buns. Nice selection of dogs, beer & ice cream.

First time having a Yeti dog which was mediocre in my opinion. We waited in line for probably 25 min to get a warmish hot dog that didn't have any melted cheese or much flavor to it at all. We were hungry so anything to fill our belly was better than nothing.

Great and fast lunch. Sweaty has jalapeños Definitely hit the spot for lunch while skiing. Best hotdog I've had in a long time.

one star. service was so slow. took forever to get inside. cashiers were so slow to take our order then practically turtles to get it into the POS. then the yeti dog came out, which was decent. then it took about ten minutes for them to put three scoops of ice cream in cups. the ice cream is alright. cashier can't stay focused on the mission.

Best bang for your buck meal at Big Sky Resort. The Coney Dog is the perfect meal after a long day on the slopes!

Small location. Service was friendly but under staffed as well under stocked. They were out of many options.

Unassuming hot dog stand, but the food was very good - chili dog with Fritos was a winner. Good spot for lunch in Mountain Village.

Really attentive service!…read moreSince it's Big Sky, the prices were definitely high, but I was really impressed with the delicious BLT I had. A simple sandwich, but it was really elevated with thick, delicious bacon, so you felt like you were at least getting something special for your money. Also, the side salad I had was so fresh with a great variety of vegetables, and I was able to order an interesting house made parsley vinaigrette. It has a classic apre ski vibe, but also tons of space and some fun bar games.

As soon as this new management agency Apres Cru took over; Tips Up went down hill. The charm is gone. Thebartenders and servers are no longer allowed to hangout with their friends off the clock at Tips or the other two establishments that Apres Cru runs. It's quite disheartening to walk into Tips now and know for 100% certain our friends who work there cannot enjoy it with us. Apres Cru has managed to turn a beloved (by locals, tourists, and passerbys) bar in Big Sky to a corporate nutcase that FEELS corporate and no longer feels like a real fun place or real bar. Now it feels like a glorified buffalo wild wings. While I love some B-Dubs, I love Tips Up much more. Recently since Apres Cru took over, private events run the pool table, more covers on events than ever before, and again, lack of social energy as the staff would come hangout and brina additional cheer. Recently since Apres Cru took over, private events run the pool table, more covers on events than ever before, and again, lack of social energy as the staff would come hangout and bring additional cheer. it was wonderful to have a drink made by a favorited bartender and THEN to have drinks with them off shift. It's astonishing for a company to come in and think they know best without any input from those already working there or locals in the area. Big Sky has a fragile community balance and a company affecting us like this really jeopardizes the balance. Tips Up is the only bar on this side of town that manages to speak to all ages and backgrounds. Not just the upper scale of places like waypoint (Even waypoint manages a local feeling and their drinks, price points, and atmosphere is absolutely not that or a ski town sports bar.) I'd understand if the staff was being ridiculous or unprofessional but through many examples i have witnessed each of them showcase professionalism off the clock. Even going as far as helping remove heinous people from the bar just because their coworkers appeared stressed or ready to get a person out. They've removed locals cards, hiked prices on drafts and other drinks, don't allow their staff (the locals) to be apart of the bar scene off of work, and contributed to the destruction of our local community. I cannot count how many times this season I myself have left or have witnessed people leave due to this new company. It is simply no longer the same energy and it brings much sadness to us here. Nearly finished - they refuse to hire anyone. new whilst their staff very obviously struggles someday managing everything. I went in one day and there was 1 bartender and 1 server for the entire inside room and outside patio. if you've never been, that's a lot of steps during a lunch rush. Additionally, each table can hold a full family. Yet they refuse to hire anyone else to support their staff. All in all, the staff is still lovely. I adore each of them and am aware none of this is their fault. it's ANOTHER company coming into our town and trying to "fix" what isn't broke. The most ironic part of this is when Apres Cru came to town, someone told them, "Don't turn our Big Sky into your New York" "Oh trust us, we don't plan on it. We love the charm of this town" That was in November of 2025. Irony is a funny thing. if you're in Big Sky, give some sympathy to the staff for what they have to deal with. Tip the staff well for their troubles and then consider not giving your money to this disgraceful corporation. They also oversee Blocks 3 and Bucks so l imagine similar antics are happening at each of them. the salads are good tho. Cheers. G. Hanners.

The cinnamon pretzels are the best pretzels we've ever had- wow!! They're soft, coated in cinnamon sugar, and accompanied by the most delectable icing. I'd return just to get these for dessert. The buff bites were also excellent- I got the huckleberry BBQ sauce, it hit the spot, and definitely was enough for a meal. My husband got the country fried buffalo steak with mashed potatoes and also loved it. It's standard bar/grill food, something for everyone, but be sure to get the pretzels!

One of few venues that would take reservations of this size group. They have a good amount of indoor seating. We sat on the umbrellaed patio, near the musician, just around the corner of the bar from games like cornhole. They were busy, but service was attentive. Many of us had craft beers and cocktails. Everyone was pleased, but i could not list all the beverages for you. We had at least one yummy fresh arugula salad with sirloin cooked-to-order and a lot of flavorful bacon, blue cheese crumbles, green onion, tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and thick "Texas" toast. We shared a number of the many appetizers: Crispy-coated sweet-chili Thai Shrimp were rather small but quite tasty. The tray of nachos was a glorious mess of beans, sauces and crema, mixed melty cheeses, olives, and meat ... i think we got the rich ground "buffalo". The "buffalo balls" were even messier: meatballs in deep gravy over mashed potatoes smothered in sautéed onions and mushrooms. We had "chicken "bites" with two of their yummy flavorings. The soft pretzels and cheese were long thick almost-loaves. And i completely lost track of the mains: several of their loaded burgers and overloaded tacos. The star was the 12oz medium-rare ribeye, topped with herb butter & demi glacé, loaded garlic redskin mashed potatoes, & thick garlic toast. This was a great immersion in great food, drink, ant atmosphere. The $44 ribeye was one of the top-two steaks we had during our trip. (July 2026). Pro tip: every steak is town was good, even the bargains you can find with a little hunting. But be sure to pay a little more once or twice to get the best.
