Stuffed pretzels! Been coming here practically every time I visit OC because it's a quick and easy meal or snack. Chicken and cheese is their popular item but there are plenty of others as well as new flavors. Good proportions of dough to filling but you gotta be careful biting into these yummy bundles. Yum! Do you like hot pockets? Would you like a hot pocket that doesn't feel like molten lava as soon as you bite into it? Then try this place! But seriously, these are tasty. My only complaint is that the pretzel wrap could be a little more baked and have a little more salt on it, but otherwise I think the wraps here are very good. I ended up getting a Maryland Chicken Wrap and it was warm and cheesy. There was just enough Old Bay spice on it to give it a little kick, and one wrap is a decent portion size. It will fill you up but not bust your belly, a difficult feat for boardwalk food. A little pricey? Yeah, definitely. Once you start charging more than five bucks for one of these I'm going to start second guessing my purchase, but overall it's a tasty and portable meal for your Ocean City excursion. read more

We got the mac and cheese pretzel yesterday and the dough was soft and the Mac and cheese inside was delicious. The combination went perfect. For those who do not know, this joint sells food that is wrapped in Pretzel OMG! Now maybe it is the Philadelphian in me but the idea of one of these in my neighborhood makes me want to weep. You name it, they wrap it in Pretzel! I LOVE the chicken broccoli and cheese but also do some of the breakfast flavors as well. AND might I add, once you have consumed your lovely little Pretzel wrapped morsel, I think dessert is called, and what is that sound? The annoying guy next door, that's right! Wow a stuffed pretzel wrap and it's good too! I was skeptical on how good it would be but let me tell you we have a winner. I tried two types the chicken and cheese and the philly cheese steak. My favorite was the chicken and cheese. It was so good I decided to buy 2. The spot is right on the boardwalk close to the Ripley's believe it or not spot. They are a bit overpriced but is not too horrible. I honestly do not care how much it costs I will still get it. This is a pretty cool sandwich substitute with sandwich ingredients essentially baked inside of a pretzel roll. I didn't try any sweet wrappers, but all of of the savory options include cheese. I was pleased with the Crab & Cheese Wrapper and the Chicken Chesapeake Wrapper (chicken, crab, cheese, Old Bay). What I wasn't impressed with was the $15 minimum for credit card transactions (even with mine that was only about 30 cents off), which is a violation of most Visa/MasterCard merchant agreements.To make matters worse, I added a "sauce" for an extra 50 cents, choosing Old Bay, thinking that it would be an Old Bay-flavored sauce. I discovered this place years ago out of accident. Talk about a happy accident. Anytime I'm in OC for any reason, this is critical must stop for at least one meal/snack. Do you like soft pretzels? If yes, then this is the place for you. Many places that do similar types of "pocket" food make items that remind me of hot pockets. Not here. It is cooked fresh in the oven and the fillings (today I got seasoned grilled chicken breast with melted cheese) is obviously high quality and fresh. This even beats ones I get near me at the Amish market...let me repeat. BEATS THE AMISH MARKET! And even today, my work schedule was getting out of whack, but I had been coordinating with them via FB messenger to order a bunch, and they stayed in communication with me the whole time. So when I arrived, my food was coming out of the oven. They didn't have to do that, but it's that extra step that turns great food to a great experience. They are even being nominated for top snack food of OC, standing shoulder to shoulder with the greats (Dumsers, Fischer's and Thrashers). Bottom line, stop here next time you're on the boardwalk. They have a large selection to cater to all tastes and you can even get just one to compliment your other snacks you have while crusin' the shops. read more

Like most eateries there, there is no indoor seating, but you can grab one of the boardwalk benches if you'd like to sit down. Prices are around $5 to $6 for each of their pretzel-dough-wrapped nom noms. My four friends and I each ordered a different flavor, and each of us was in love. There are lots of vegetarian options (yay!) as indicated in green writing on each sign. I had the veggie burger with cheese pretzel, and it was amazing. This is one of the best places to come for a light night bite, especially if you are down here for a trip and is sick of eating crabs. They have many options for their stuffed pretzel sandwiches and it's all hot and cheesy. I came here with a group of 6 people and we ordered the MEGA pretzel! I loved it. The pretzel was fresh and soft. I had it with salt and butter, with a side of mustard, but I wish they had more options in terms of flavor for the MEGA pretzel, like sour cream powder. The MEGA pretzel was 16 inches long and it's made to order. it took about 30 minutes for them to make the pretzel, which was enough time for me to walk to the south end of the boardwalk and back while tasting ice-cream along the way. Looks like any other restaurant on the boardwalk but it's filled with surprises. Specifically filled pretzels. This place is a must whenever I come to OC. Theses are one of kind pretzels filled with favorites like mac n cheese, buffalo chicken, cheesesteak, falafel, crab and cheese and a bajillion more. My go to absolute favorite that I specifically come to the boardwalk for is the Seafood medley pretzel. The seafood medley pretzel has crab, lobster, shrimp and scallop in it along with a light creamy sauce. This is encased in a pretzel layer that's lightly salted and buttered. Ugh perfection. There was no line which was great because there were so many people! Essentially this food stand offers pretzel dough filled with various ingredients. The owner/manager let us sample the chicken and cheese wrapper. I decided to go to that one because it was so good - well seasoned and not dry. Up until this weekend, I only braved the boardwalk in OC for one thing: Fisher's Popcorn. I get the caramel corn while my boyfriend goes a few stands down to get The Wrapper. This week on two different days I picked one up and the pretzel was hard and fillings very dried out from sitting. There were 4 of and and we tried a bunch of different type since you can certainly eat more than one. Chicken, bacon, and cheese was my favorite. The cheeseburger and the chicken parmigiana were both amazing. The meatball with mozzarella and the lamb and cheese were out of this world. After a day on the beach, head to The Wrapper for lunch then back to the hotel for a nap...can't beat that. I do have to mention that a couple of us had stomach aches later in the day, but I think we just ate too much...couldn't resist them! I like what The Wrapper stands for, Old Fashioned Carnie food. I drove 2.5 hours to Ocean City specifically for a Wrapper because they are just that good. However, when I showed up at 5pm, they were CLOSED without any explanation. On the website, it says they are open until 12am, and if you call their phone (which they won't answer), the answering machine will tell you they're open until 6pm. SO WHY WOULD THEY CLOSE AT 5PM. I love this place! They have some pretzels ready to go in the glass. I tried the cheeseburger one, and it was great and filling! My friend is a vegetarian and they had so many options for her. (Including spinach and artichoke dip ) We went back the next day and I got a sweet creme pretzal made for me. It was probably one of the best things I have ever ate. There is a whole menu of dessert items, you just have to ask for them to make it. It takes about 8 minutes, but then it's super fresh and warm! I saw they had a Nutella and a brownie pretzal. Each wrap was at most 4 inches long and cost almost $5 each. I usually don't complain about price when I'm in a tourist area bc I expect high prices but what a waste of $! i LOVEEEEEEE the wrapper!!!! i found this place by accident and it was the best accident ever. i can never remember what street to go to so i walk aimlessly up and down the boardwalk until i find it. i always get the chicken and cheese wrapper (for those not in the know, you pick fillings and they wrap it in a warm soft pretzel)... and it is always melty and gooey and amazing. they are kind of small, but the price is reasonable, so just order two if you are really hungry. my mouth is watering just thinking about this, and i dont even live around there anymore. read more
