    Fries!
    Barbara M.

Confession: I may or may not have decided to drive several hours just for the fries! These are possibly the best fries I've had in my life. Add vinegar! Yes, put the vinegar on the fries and thank me later. It's like salt and vinegar chips, except hot, fresh, delectable fries! They are thick, yet soft, but not mushy with a slight crisp on the outside. This place is right on the boardwalk, a small place, but exactly what you need for a fry mission. Just make a day of it! The ladies who work there are super friendly, which is a plus as well.

Quick service, eat your fries on the bench next to the beach, add vinegar ! It's a classic OC staple.

With tax the small size costed $8.80. Loved the flavor and crispy outside of the fries. It works well with the malt vinegar. The vinegar helps cut the fat from the fries. Delicious.

Strolling along the boardwalk while munching on fries is a common thing to do. My friend and I decided to take a break here and we enjoyed it. We sprinkled some vinegar on the fries to give them an extra tangy kick. The prices may be a tad steep, but hey, it's all part of the boardwalk experience. The only "ugh" part, is that there were mushed fries everywhere on the floor/ground.

Board walk fries are just different. They are fried multiple times for their light crispy skin which gives it an airy potato texture. When an order is made it takes its final bath in the fryer. The last bucket of boardwalk fries I had was in Maine years ago. PSA announcement::: NO ketchup there is NO Ketchup. I forgot, and I asked lol. That's their business model, so please don't get upset. There is plenty of salt, and malt vinegar to top it off. The location is ideal for families, friends, everyone in between to enjoy the beach while munching on some freshly made fries. The employees were funny and fast. I would suggest getting the largest size as we didn't expect to eat them soo fast. The small is very tiny, and prices are what is expected being located in a high volume area. Oh and when the winds pick up, kite flying is the best around here!!!We will be back!!!

This fried has been our favorite ever since coming to Ocean City all those years ago. Every summer to be exact (family tradition) we always go here every time we are at the Boardwalk.it was those traditional things Marylanders and tourists alike tends to do. They gravitate to these fries , lines are long but very quick. You also have choices of sprinkling vinegar to your fries or do you want it on the side. I do it on the side since my husband and kids hates vinegar. I'm the only one who likes it. Salt is also good to be added on top they have a lot fo iodized salt on the side thay you can sprinkle. Service is quick and fast.

Thrasher's is a classic must have at ocean city. The fries are good and the employees are enthusiastic and working hard. Don't forget to douse them in lots of vinegar

Yassss!!! Don't hesitate and just make the purchase. Best fries you'll ever buy

Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 5 out of 5 Packaging - 5 out of 5 I will be the first one to say that I always dip my fries in ranch whether I'm at a sit down restaurant or fast food joint. Ranch & fries are life... BUT, I wouldn't dare dip Thrasher's fries in anything. They are perfect as is! Crispy on the outside, hot and soft in the middle. I absolutely love the taste of malt vinegar so I go heavy on the vinegar and lightly sprinkle it with salt. Besides the amazing iconic taste of these OCMD boardwalk fries, I also love the experience of getting them. There are several locations to get these fries, but I like to walk down to the beginning of the boardwalk to get these fries. I like to deal with the crazy crowds of people who do not respect walking down the right side and up the left, I like the risk of getting splattered on by the swooping seagulls, I like the safety hazards of slipping on Dumser's ice cream from a poor child who accidentally dropped their cone, I like the bright lights and the loud noises from the boardwalk games & Carney workers yelling for participants... I like it all! Once I do reach my destination, I stand in the long line of eagerly waiting customers. The line moves extremely fast because everyone is getting the same thing, only difference is the size. I always get the medium size which as of summer 2022 is around $12 or you can get a small for $7.50 (don't get the small, you'll regret it) Packaging...honestly I love the packaging. The design is eye catching and iconic. The container is strong so you never deal with grease seeping through or an unfortunate disintegrating cardboard. Pro tip - salt your fries before adding the malt vinegar so that the salt has a chance to drop to the middle and bottom. If you use malt vinegar first, then the salt will collect on the wet fries on top (I've learned that the hard way). Customer service - the interaction is very quick because they keep the line moving, but they are still very friendly. The workers communicated well with one another and seemed to have a good work relationship. For as many customers that they see throughout the day, they still seemed upbeat. I'm sure the work environment is exhausting from the volume of customers, but they didn't let it show. With a perfect score of 20 out of 20 stars, I give this location an A+ Overall verdict - HIGHLY recommended! Don't let the fact that there is no ketchup or ranch deter you from buying a bucket of fries. Experiment outside your comfort level and try the malt vinegar with salt. If that's not your thing, eat them plain, regardless you won't be disappointed. 100% returning next year for my Thrasher's fries fix

Wow! What a great spot! Fresh air with great views! Delicious french fries 10/10 !! Friendly staff and easy access walk through setup. A must try if you're at the Ocean City Boardwalk!!

Small cup of fries for $7.50
    Ailun H.

Maybe we just had a bad batch this past Saturday, but paying $7.50 for a small cup of fries was not worth it, especially if they're soggy and dripping in oil. i picked up a fry and I saw a drop of grease drip back into the already super oily fries. You also have to season these fries heavily with salt for it to have any sort of flavor, so be generous with how much you dump in. The vinegar definitely made them taste better, but it made the fries even soggier after that. Only thing I liked about these fries was that they were fresh and for once, I actually enjoyed putting vinegar on my fries. A lot of people hyped these fries up for me, but they're definitely not good when drenched in grease.

It's the nostalgia for me! Went to OC for the first time in a decade, and couldn't leave without getting thrashers! Fries are delicious and while they come unsalted/unseasoned, they have a huge table with salt and ketchup (and vinegar...for those who may prefer).

The coastal breeze, familiar scents in the air - it was the perfect atmosphere. Arose from the sun-bleached afternoon, only to realize the Pasta Cheese Wheel place closed at like 8 or 9 pm. Luckily, it was only about a 12-minute walk from my hotel room. Bliss Bliss... The cheese was so thick, warm, and gooey; the staff was informative, and even 15 minutes before closing after a long hot day at the beach, they were willing to indulge an enthusiastic patron. I asked it the sausage was rustic... she showed me a pan and said... this is the sausage - the sausage is good.... It was a great experience. I ordered the chicken for my protein and fettuccine for my pasta; my daughter and I watched as they swirled the freshly made pasta in a giant cheese wheel. Full experience - and I enjoyed every minute. Also - they do not skimp on the size. It was gigantic. The bowl was huge. But also so super delicious- I couldn't put it down. I saw this place on google have a high star review then I decided to try it with my 6 year old son. I ordered a white sauce Fettuccine with chicken and mushrooms on top. My second order was tomato sauce linguine with chicken topping. After I paid around $45 , I got my order number 190. It was my first time ordering from there so I stand by the door and wait for my order. After about 10-15 minutes, the guy came to me and handed to me my order. Of course I will get them , and he show me where I can pick up my folk and seasoning. There was no seating available ( it's only about 10 seats there with couple long tables) we walked to the beach bench to sit. After I opened my first white sauce fettuccine, I saw no toppings ( chickens and mushroom at all, just plain noodle). I was thinking it's ok to not have the missing chicken. However, my second order was wrong too! ( I got tomato sauce with ravioli on the bottom). I went back to the store with my second order, I told the woman ( I believe it's the owner) that they made my order wrong. I just need to switch the second order. The women was so angry and rude taking to me and saying I took the wrong order. I was like. WT*. The guy handed to me and didn't repeat the order number. They didn't even check the ticket that was the right person. ( it was a tiny number ticket that they handed out after you pay. After all this , she blamed on me taking the wrong order! I didn't even walk to the table and grab the order. She told me I took the order number 191. My actual number was 190. Why would they gave out 191 before 190? She didn't even apologize of what they did wrong and blamed on customers taking the wrong order! What a customer service nowadays! I guess they had long day making pasta. During that time, my folk was inside the tomato sauce ravioli and the women told me she won't take back the order and ask me just tak the wrong order to leave. The tomato sauce was covering on top of the ravioli, if I didn't use folk , how can I see them ? ? I don't even like the order. So I asked to switch to different noodle. After she asked me to tak the box with tomato sauce Fettuccine with chicken in it. I just tak it. I can't believe this store has such a high review with such bad customer service here. They don't know how to handle the situation and messed up with the orders. I'm not happy of what I got! Both of my orders were wrong. The tomato sauce fettuccine with chicken I got at the end was so disgusting. I definitely will not recommend my friends and family going there. Food is decent and not so great. They are kinda pricy too with just 2 pasta and costs over $45. Such Bad experiences!

Three of us decided to split two pizzas and an order of wings for dinner, and the other ordered sandwich. The food came out, piping hot, and it was delicious. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. I ordered the beef and chicken kabob combo. The meat was nicely cooked, delicious sliced, and arrived still warm enough not to have to reheat in the microwave. It was served over deliciously flavored rice, a small bit of salad in the side, and a few small pieces of soft pita bread. My wife ordered the salmon kabob combo. It was comprised of two decent sized pieces of nicely cooked fish coated in Mediterranean spices. It was also served over rice with a small side salad and a few pieces of pita bread.
