He was able to order our parts quickly and I made an appt for early on a Tuesday morning. I then got a call on Monday from a female at the shop saying our parts were in and they would like to get me scheduled for later in the week or the following week. Which was weird because I already had an appointment for the following day. We dropped our car off early in the morning and did not hear anything all day. I called later in the afternoon and the same female answered the phone. I asked for an ETA on when our car would be done. She said she could not do that and she would call when it was done. I felt she was rude and in a hurry to get me off the phone. So I called back and asked to speak to someone else who could help me more as I was trying to plan out a ride to the shop. She again was rude saying they had a lot of cars to work on that day, which was not my issue. I felt like since I had an appointment, our car would be a priority. I then asked to speak to someone else, which she did not like. I was then able to speak to a technician who was actually able to give me an estimate. Not sure why she couldn't take the time to go and ask for an estimated time. This is a very small car shop and would not have been hard for her to do. Then when I went to pay, I was told of a 4% Credit card fee. Which added an additional 65+ dollars to our total. Why wasn't this shared with us at the beginning? I most certainly would have brought in cash. But this was 10 minutes before closing and I needed my car for the following day for a long road trip. I am not sure why it is so hard to communicate with your customers. I was not asking for a specific time for when my car was going to be done. I understand we were not the only vehicle there. But get up, walk into the shop and ask for an ETA. And why is it so hard to be transparent about a fee upfront vs. waiting until a customer comes and pays? Sometimes the little things can go a long way. We will not be back. And I know that losing our business will not hurt your shop. But good customer service can go a long way!!

I had my 2009 Camry with 77,000 miles towed to Accelerated Auto because of a severe engine miss…read morewhich rendered it not drivable. After a short time they called to let me know the engine was shot & they could do a used engine with 90K on it for $6,000 to &7,000. I opted to have the car towed to the Greeley Toyota dealer, where I bought it new thinking maybe Toyota might give me a deal on a new or used car. It turned out that the engine just needed new spark plugs & one ignition coil and now it runs great. Needless to say, I will not return to Accelerated Auto for any work after such an extreme misdiagnosis. I only hope it was an honest error.

I've now tried twice to have my Solterra EV serviced at Mike Shaw Subaru in Greeley, and both times…read morewere--let's just say--character-building experiences. I realize other Subaru dealerships are farther away, but honestly, if their service departments are even slightly better, it would be worth the extra miles and gas (or electricity). Visit #1: The glamorous 5,000-mile service with just a tire rotation and inspection (remember, it's an electric vehicle). I made an afternoon appointment, waited over an hour, and when I finally got back into my car, the "Maintenance Required" message was still happily glowing on my dashboard. The technician had three jobs: inspect a basically new car, rotate the tires, and reset the maintenance indicator. Two out of three isn't terrible if you're flipping a coin--but it's not great for a service department. Apparently, there's no final check to make sure the service work was completed accurately. Visit #2: Another technically challenging tire rotation at 10,000 miles, but this one didn't even make it to the "service" part. When scheduling online, I noticed every single time slot for the entire week was wide open--like a buffet of availability. Odd, but okay. I booked another afternoon slot, showed up, and the good news was that they knew I was coming. Bad news: after over an hour of waiting for just another tire rotation, they had only managed to move my car into the shop. I finally gave up, told a service advisor I had to leave, and escaped through an open bay door. No apology, no "let's make this right," no offer to reschedule at a less-busy time. Just me and my unrotated tires driving away in disappointment. It's been over a week, and still no follow-up from Mike Shaw Subaru. Eventually, it dawned on me: they don't actually adjust their schedule based on workload, number of customers ahead, or how many technicians are available. Every time slot is always open! It looks great online, but it's basically an illusion, like those medical offices where your "appointment" means you get to wait longer in a smaller room. If you've read this far, you probably already know where this is going. I cannot recommend Mike Shaw Subaru in Greeley for service. If they can't complete a 5,000-mile service correctly or within a reasonable amount of time, I wouldn't feel confident trusting them with anything more complicated. P.S. Check out their available appointments for tomorrow, which is a Saturday, no less. Does that seem odd to you?

River had scheduled for me to have my front windows tinted to match the back and have a clear bra put on the hood. I came in to pick my vehicle up in the evening, none of these services were performed at all. When I asked River what had happened, he talked about how they had me under the completely wrong name, but then proceeded to tell me that they did some "edging" on the clear bra that was already on the hood and tried to show me where the bra was. It was apparent that there was no clear bra on my hood at that time. River lied to my face and tried to say that it was already there to try and show me that my vehicle wasn't at their site all day for nothing when in fact it was. I told River that when I brought it back in to actually have the work done that I would need to loaner vehicle for the day this time and he agreed. I rescheduled the service for 2 weeks later to actually have the work done, and when I came in to drop it off and pick up a loaner vehicle, somehow no one on site had record of me scheduling this appointment and they said I wasn't scheduled for a loaner vehicle through sales. I proceeded to tell them that I had scheduled with River and this is what he promised me, they then told me that River wasn't working that day. I proceeded to tell them everything that had gone wrong prior and that they needed to figure it out and after about 20 minutes of waiting they finally did. The incompetency of the situation and the fact that I was lied to straight to my face is what has lead me to leave this review. I will never be back to a McDonald Toyota dealership for any kind of service because it is clear they don't care about their customers.
