My father-in-law took their vehicle in to get it checked and tuned so my son, who is in college five hours away, could drive it while he was going through recovery from knee surgery (his car is a manual transmission). They charged us $170 dollars to put in a new battery, among other things. Fast forward three weeks and the vehicle won't start. Get it towed to a mechanic and after another $500, the vehicle runs great. Needed a new battery, because even though Weld County Garage charged us for one, they never really put it in. And it needed a fuel infection system clean up. Seems logical that would have been part of the tune up we paid for. Contacted WCG about the battery not being replaced and they were adamant they had and the only way they could do anything is if we brought the other battery back. I wouldn't trust this shop to fix a cup of coffee, let alone any of my vehicles. And they certainly don't stand behind their work. Undoubtedly the WORST car buying experience I have ever had. The ONLY reason that I chose to go through with the car deal was that our sales lady was the ABSOLUTE sweetest, most wonderful person! Jessica is a true gem. I would love to say that she made up for the shortcomings of her co-workers. But after all, she is just one woman. I will start off with the incredibly disrespectful "gentleman" Christian. Who insisted on referring to me as Little Miss while trying to dismiss any concern I had with the vehicle I was purchasing. Disrespectful is an incredibly nice word for the way this man chose to speak to me. Some friendly advice I would like to pass along to him for future reference, is when working with a customer. Don't assume that simply because they are a woman, they know nothing about vehicles, or that being a chauvinist is the way to win over a customer. Because I assure you, it is not. I know he wouldn't have acted that way had my husband been with me. He wasn't only rude to me, he was rude to the sales woman I was working with as well. Then we can move on to Derek. I am still waiting on the "smile guarantee" that he was so intent on pushing. I purchased a $62,000 truck that had less than good tires on it. Even though he agreed with my husband that he believed they should be replaced, he said they just don't do business like that at Weld County Garage. Then there was finance. Who couldn't figure out how to overnight paperwork to be filled out. Messed up the lending institution, as well as the term and all the agreed upon numbers and forgot to offer extended warranty until after the paperwork was both filled out and returned. On top of the lovely gentleman that wanted to make rude remarks when I switched from outside financing to running it through the dealership because it was taking too long. Again, they made sure to show how Customer Service is not a priority at their dealership. There was no shortage of bad attitude, and snarky comments from EVERY SINGLE PERSON we dealt with at this dealership, other than Jessica. Right down to the service manager when my husband called to ask a few questions about the vehicle after waiting 3 days for him to get in touch after Derek said he would have him call. We had to chase someone down every single step of this process. I have never been this disrespected by a group of people. Especially a group of people that is making money off me. During every step of the buying process, there was someone either trying to make me feel stupid, or act like they were somehow better than me. You couldn't pay me to do business with Weld County Garage again. And I have made sure to let everyone I know about my experience. I purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler about 3 weeks ago, Before I could actually test drive the jeep, it had to go through the service department to do a complete check on the vehicle. Aparently, they spend roughly a little over $2,000 dollars on repairs and even replaced the windshield. The jeep really was an eye catcher when I saw it. I have always been a toyota guy with no problems in the world with them. Buy back to the jeep. As I was driving to loveland from greeley yesterday, the check engine light came on. I'm thinking what could possibly be , The jeep went through a complete service and was verified that everything was taken care of. So when I got to loveland, I went in to have the code read, and it came up as a PO740. The code diagnostic showed that the torque converter needs to be replaced in the transmission. The guy at the store said it could just be a miss reading, so he reset the code. I figured ok I pray that hopefully it was just an error. That was on 09/21/2023. So today, 09/22/2023. The light came back on. The jeep only had roughly 143,700 miles on it, and the miles to this day only have 144,250 on it, and I have only put on 555 miles on it. They came to get our vehicle an hour later than scheduled, kept the vehicle the entire day and when we called at end of day we got the response "we didn't have time to get to it". All with zero communication and the fact we had an appointment. So we are on day 2 with no car. I would not recommend until they figure out the processes and organization and communication. Everyone loves anew car right? The smell, the features, the first time you drive it off the lot, it's the American feeling of independence, at least it should be an exciting time. This review is specific, and its only mine. WCG has been in business for along time, served the community well, and the Yoder Family has experience, WCG is a well oiled machine, they know what they are doing, they have the numbers, the vehicles and the facilities to prove that. In no way should my personal review be considered derogatory toward their business model because the fact is, we are all independent minds and we have choices. If we choose to do business with a company then we have a responsibility to research all aspects of that transaction. My experience is as follows. I purchased a vehicle which was fine ( its not the best time to buy a car but sometimes life moves in that direction ). The Staff was friendly, they helped answer questions the best they could and made it fun. From a sales aspect the only real strange situation was when we were forced to sit in our new car with Gerry and made to sign up for on-star service which we didn't want, and also forced to put the My Buick app on our phones before the transaction was able to be completed. We went along with it at the time, and then promptly canceled the services once we left the facility, and those forced actions resulted in this review ( read your customers cues ). The finance department it fantastic! No one wants a payment, but they are on it. They know all the tricks, terms, numbers they have all math down pat, which they should and they are the best, I personally believe that Adam is the absolute strongest gear in the machine at WCG, he is polite, well mannered, positive, relatable, fast, and down to earth. I don't know what he's making, but its probably not as much as he's pulling down for the Yoder family every minute he is there. Give that man a raise. This is where it get a bit spicy. I'm a detailed oriented person, its just how I'm built. I like clean, I like exact, and I like to get what I pay for. It is my opinion that the Rocky Mountain Protection Package is a falsehood. I don't believe the level of product is equal to its cost. The way it is presented to the customer lends it hand to the notion that the entire front of the vehicle will be covered in a clear protective film and the entire exterior and interior will be coated in Resistol, and brand of finish preservative and protection. The pitch is tossed to the customer in a way that much is promised but little is provided. One example of this is that I was told by " Rags" the owner of Advanced Clear Mask that the entire vehicle would be detailed prior to the installation of film and the Resistall, not the case the areas where the film is going to be installed are cleaned, then the vehicle ONLY is washed ( not the tires or rims ) off from what we can tell. It is our stance that the exterior of the vehicle was not fully and possibly not at all treated with anything. There is absolutely no trace of any product being installed, no improvement or tangible evidence. In fact the vehicle is now more dirty than when we took it in. the tires and rims and coated in tire shine and they look horrible since they have attached massive amounts of dirt and also because they were never washed in the first place but rather had shine material sprayed on them over the dirt. The clear film work is minimal, and I mean minimal. The film doesn't extend to the edges of the covered areas of the vehicle. Now I understand there are limitation to the product and it cant curve around everything so in order to provide a flat, installation that will hold up to warranty terms it has be done a certain way. But when 2 inches of the running lights are not covered, and an entire side of both mirrors as well as the whole entire from of the vehicle with the exception of 12" of the hood, andno A pillar areas are covered at all it's a bait an switch. I even asked Donald The installation tech to perform extra installations and said I would pay for it no matter the cost and he just walked away from the extra money for his company, dismissed the work and didn't do it ( after telling me he would ) The cut work on the film is bad, some corners are rounded, some are sharp, there are midline step cuts, and jagged edges. The installer left cut marks on the lenses of our marker lights from a razor blade cutting on the car rather then off the finish, as well as completely forgetting to add the film to the ACTUAL HEADLIGHTS!!!! Will the film last? Maybe, will it protect the paint? If it stays on, does it look like hell? Yep. Again, this is my opinion. NOTE: Advance Clear Mask was not responsible for the washing or Resistall coating application, they only did the Clear protective film work, and window Tinting. Last week I got a warning light on my car, indicating an issue with the Traction Control system. I did some research online and found that the problem was related to the Steering Wheel Position Sensor, it needed to be reset. I took it in to Weld County Garage and explained the problem, and the research I had done. I left it with them for diagnosis and repair. A few hours later I got a call indicating that the Steering Wheel Position Sensor needed to be replaced, for $500. I told them that I would pick it up and get a second opinion, as I did not think the sensor needed replacement. The Service Advisor explained that their techs are all GM certified and so they are the best at diagnosing and fixing problems with GM cars. Absolutely terrible service experience recently. Not only was the service experience on my pickup truck itself so bad, the management/service personnel have not made ANY effort on the customer service side to fix the situation. (1) We were excited to try the service offered to pick up and return my vehicle for maintenance/ oil change. I was thinking - what a great time saver! However, they kept my vehicle the entire day and overnight - with 0 communication. They didn't return calls and when i called at end of the day - response was "we didn't have a chance to get to it". Despite the fact - we had an appointment! So a day later i finally got the vehicle back at my house...only to find that the air conditioner fan was now broke (service guy said he knew what was done incorrectly and I should come back for a quick less than 30 minute fix. So, first issue - I would not recommend this pick up service until they figure out a better process and customer service unfortunately.. Second problem, I go in for the fix to the AC fan, and it takes an hour (vs the less than 30 minutes) and they have no idea how to fix it and now claim they didn't cause the problem but need to take out the entire dash and I need another appointment and i will be expected to pay additional for that. Weld County garage social media person posts on Facebook to me - that they "want to make things better and I should call them to do so". I call multiple times, usually getting no responses or call backs. The Service department makes no apologies for the situation or delays in the original oil change , maintenance taking 1.5 days, and no offer to comp the maintenance or give a discount or anything related to customer service, seem to have little interest in 'making it right'. Facebook message to me again - saying service manager will reach out. Never does. Hours of my time wasted, got my vehicle back in worse shape than when i went in, and very disappointed in what i used to think was a reputable and customer friendly local company has no interest in keeping a loyal customer. read more

I took my car a while back to get an oil change here and they picked my car up and brought it back which was very convenient. These idiots however forgot to put an O ring on my drain plug and stripped the bolt down there to hell and when they called for payment they charged me $40 more than the quoted price even though they were fully aware of what vehicle I drove prior to my bringing it in. About a month later on a shift as a delivery driver, my oil had leaked out completely and I had to stop in the middle of my shift, work with a manager to do our best to get the drain plug out, and that is when I found out the O ring was missing which I replaced and topped off with more oil. I notified them of this issue and they did nothing about it. When my car alerted me that it was time for another oil change, I decided to take it elsewhere to be serviced and they told me that the drain plug had been stripped so badly that they would need an extraction kit and that I should call them and see if I could get my oil change complimentary for my inconvenience. I reached out to their service department and notified them again of the issue, the woman on the line told me that she would pass my information up to the manager, even confirming my car and the service they preformed over the phone, and 3 days later I have not gotten a callback. They speak of themselves as one of the best in Greeley/Weld County while their technicians are missing very basic, crucial steps, and not making up for their mistakes that could have lead to long term damages. They don't deserve anyone's business and you'd be better off going to a grease monkey or a local shop. Worst experience I've ever had with auto service. I have had good experiences with most of the service advisors but I highly recommend Rick Saucedo. He always remembers me, is helpful and courteous but most importantly when he calls to explain what they found he is knowledgeable and explains things clearly and makes sure I understand the issue. After I paid them, the sales rep wouldn't even response to my text and calls about getting the second key. Now, here I am 6 months later paying $365 to tow my jeep to a dealership, get a new fob, and have it reprogramed since my one and only key went out.
