My massage person took time (MY time-- I didn't want her talking through my massage) to tell me how she worked for a neurologist during the day and how knowledgeable she was about the recent Kyraplasty surgery (sp?) I had done etc --- blah blah) Meanwhile i never did get help getting onto the table and she came into the room only after hearing my pain-induced noises getting on it myself. At the 60-min marker the front desk (owner) person (?) popped her head into the room for "a quick word" and nxt thing i knew, i was being literally removed from the table (w/help this time) and told that there had been a scheduling mishap and they could only give me an hour's service . The 'owner' apologized for my masseuse's mistake-- she should have checked the schedule and the time i had requested when i arrived for my massage. I came up with a little jingle with memory prompts for the names of the generic prescriptions I am on: Kepra and Kloracon, (the two k's) and atorvastatin and baclofin (A and B) Venlafaxene and Lozartan (two words that come from the letters from the middle of the first one) Gilen-ya To the tune of 'my favorite things'. I went in for a cryotherapy session since they opened very recently and are running a sale for a free session, and you just need to pay for the kit, which is absolutely worth it and usable (2 super cozy and thick socks, ear muffs, gloves, and a mask!). Cryotherapy has many benefits that help healing the entire body and mind! Their machine is a full body cryotherapy system, which was nerve wrecking to me, but Liana was so absolutely wonderful at making me feel comfortable and prepared me for the session. She put music on and walks you through the whole time, which was very short and doable, and I felt absolutely amazing after the fact. I went back for a facial with Leah, and I'm so glad I did! She was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable and professional. I literally felt like my face had been replaced afterwards with a much cleaner, glowing, younger skin.
