For a buffet style, they actually have a pretty good amount and variety of food. The chicken was pretty good along with the paneer. The samosa was large but tasty. The sweet potato dish was also quite tasty. The mango lassi was also delicious. It wasn't too sweet and balanced the meal quite nicely. Space is large and service is kind. I am getting older so I can't stuff my face as much. Next time I'm here, I'll order off the menu so I can take food home as left overs. read more

The best. People claim that you can't get great food when you're from Louisiana and travel. They are wrong. In fact, Colorado beats LA in Nepalese food by an incredibly wide margin. There are no Nepalese food restaurants within 250 miles of me!!!! But what a restaurant this is. I loved this restaurant so much that we ate here two nights in a row. I loved it so much that I considered driving 2 hours back from Avon to eat here again. But you don't really care about me so on to the review. The food here is amazing. Yes. Amazing. There is a buffet that is filled with all of the things one would want on a buffet. However, I ordered the same thing both nights. Boneless Chicken Makhamal is tandori cooked chicken pieces atop a bed of sizzling peppers and onions. Sounds like fajitas right? Kind of until you see the cup of sauce that is made in heaven. I have no idea what flavors I was experiencing but it was pure heaven. Service was a little slow. I think most people get the buffet. But damn this place is amazing. They look to have an excellent selection of beers, the artwork is pretty great, and the signs as you enter crack me up. You will love this place. Indian, Nepalese, just amazing food. read more

I really like this location. It though it fills up on the weekend, we always seem to be able to get a table. There is plenty of parking in a large lot. The staff is welcoming. We came for a family dinner out. We were settled quickly and ready to hit the buffet. All four of us love the food and selection with the buffet so that is always a no brainer. The table received naan to go with our meal. A helpful tool for swabbing up all the saucy goodness from one's plate. I had a bit of this and that, but made sure to get my absolute favorite, Saag Paneer. I have yet to find a place that makes it as good as Yak & Yeti. I had a smidge of room left after enjoying all the tastes to be had so I tried some of the banana pakora with a drizzle of the mango custard. That was yummy. We have been coming to Yak and Yeti since they opened in Arvada in 2002. It is our go to for Indian buffet. read more

I haven't been here in two years because the last time visited, it seemed as though they might be trying out for a Gordon Ramsey Disaster restaurant show. The place was dirty, the buffet food had been sitting too long and had a skin on top. The food was average at best. The current reviews make me want to try it again. We will see. read more

Psst... I have a tip for you. We are not from here. We just flew into Denver and had few business things to take care of. We got hungary and went to yelp to get some suggestions for lunch. Scrolling through the options Indian Lunch Buffet caught my eye and it was very close to us. I love Indian food and boy did this place rock my world in a great way. Atmosphere is a little rough around the edges, but everything i ate was as good as, or better than I had before. The bummer, which was expected, due to it being a buffet and that they toned down the spiciness for the mass market. I will bet they would accommodate my tongues desire for more heat, if I ordered off the menu, which was an option. If your in the area I strongly recommend it. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was here. When we entered the restaurant I was a bit hesitant because the decorations were kind of gaudy. The service was pretty neutral. One male server was nice, but he was a bit difficult to understand (him having a mask on also added to the difficulty). Another female server was pretty awkward, I just guessed she was new and not comfortable with the service sector. The food however, was very good! The complimentary chutney with bread was nice; esp the mint chutney reminded me of my childhood when my Indian friend's mom used to make mint chutney and chapati for after school snacks. Samosa chaat was served warm and very delicious, chili chicken momo was such a comfort food, lamb rogan had the right amount of spices and hearty, naan was one of the best I had (so tender and had the right texture), and salty lassi was perfect! The food is great, but the only problem is on price. It would be nice if they clarify the price differences on the Week Vs Weekend/Holidays. When called if luckily they answered the phone at the restaurant, they will you buffet price but doesn't clarify that it's more on the weekend and holidays. it will be a surprise bill when it's time to pay in one of those days. read more

Ive eaten here and the food is fine but as an uber eats driver I've come to hate picking up here. Theres always a long wait to get my order(s) which results in me making less money by a) I don't get paid more when the order takes longer, i get the same amount of money it just takes more time which isn't an issue at most restaurants, and b) there's usually someone else's food sitting in my car getting cold which results in them giving me a smaller tip and potentially a bad rating as a driver. So I just wish they wouldn't tell uber the order is ready way before it's ready. It's very inconsiderate of the drivers who are helping their business. read more

We had a great experience at Yak & Yeti for their Friday night dinner buffet which cost around $23 per person. The buffet had a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices, all of which were delicious. We've tried Indian cuisine at different restaurants across the metro area and Yak & Yeti is one of the best options. Our favorite dessert was the gulab jumun. They have the best food around. That carrot desert, saaag paneer, coconut soup, I've had it all and trust me it is all good! Hack=get the buffet to go. No rice just the good stuff. U can put the samoas and chicken on top of your buffet so the box barely shuts. It's like 4 meals for $18 read more

We had the appetizer sampler with a spice level of Hot. It was great! Not hot at all, but still very good!!! For our entrees, we got the Vindaloo Chicken and the Tandoori chicken. The Vindaloo was very good. The sauce is rich and creamy, and very flavorful. Full of spice and potatoes and chicken. The rice was very well cooked and made a perfect addition to the Vindaloo. The Tandoori Chicken was good. It's all dark meat. Thighs and legs chopped awkwardly around joints. It also had the back of the chicken. It was basically the spine and ribs with no meat. Kind of a waste. Felt like it was used to make the portion bigger without actually giving you anything edible. The sauce was good, and the vegetables were cooked very well. This is is my experience & opinion of this establishment. Recently ate @ Westminster Yak & Yeti for their weekday buffet. The food was good. However, the service was undesirable. My waitress didn't bother to stop by my table to see if I needed anything else. Which I did. Her & another employee were staring out the window into the parking lot. Don't know if they were staring @ the parking lot trash or the guy working on his vehicle. Waved my arms @ her to bring her back to reality & get my check. I thought almost $20.00 was expensive for a weekday buffet. The waitress also couldn't be bothered to give me a receipt. As far as ambiance, had to compete with the music for a phone call. I had a taste for Indian food and I found this gold nugget on yelp. We were on vacation here and wanted to try out an Indian restaurant. Off we went, when we arrived there was plenty of parking and it's connected to a strip mall. Since we visited during the COVID-19 pandemic, there was limited places around where you can dine in. Luckily this place offered indoor dining as long as there was social distancing. We ordered off the menu. But I believe this was also a place where they would have a Buffet set up. They seated us and everyone was wearing a mask and there was sanitizer as needed. They offered us at the table, PAPADAMS which are Two spiced chickpea wafers served with our homemade chutneys. All were so good! This is what we ordered vegan and vegetarian style: VEGETABLE SAMOSA apps which was Two deep-fried pastries filled with spiced potatoes, peas, onions, and ginger. Pretty big sizes for an appetizer. It was hearty and flavorful. We ordered the GARLIC CHEESE NAAN that was Stuffed with fresh garlic and cheddar cheese. So good we had to control ourselves from ordering a 2nd order of it! So cheesy and garlicky! DAAL TARKA of Mixed lentils cooked with green onions, tomatoes, and spices. This was hearty and thick, also flavorful. And we got this MATTAR PANEER Green peas and homemade cheese cooked in a creamy curry sauce. This one was our favorite, so creamy we got it medium a slow burn and cheese was not too hard and not too soft. The side of basmati rice for the table was so fluffy and yellow and well seasoned! I can eat this alone. The staff were very nice and they made sure our glass of water was always filled. I guess I'm spoiled by the amazing Indian food I've had before, but to me this buffet was okay but not fantastic. The food was not very flavorful, and the selections weren't that many. I can only home the food ordered from the menu has more passion in how it's cooked unlike the buffet...which lacked the love and flavor of good "home cooked" Indian. Seating was plentiful, and the bar was fully stocked. Pricing was good and service was excellent. Pretty much the only reason this review has three stars is because the service was very good. Seriously, I just wish the food had the excitement and punch that the restaurant's name made it sound like it would have. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'm going to try this place again when I come back into town. If just ONE item on the buffet had rocked my socks off, I would try again...but to me (after traveling the World and trying food from so many continents) I just don't think it's worth the time or money. Before COVID, I was a regular at their lunch buffet--it was both reasonably priced and delicious. The service was alway incredibly friendly and prompt. I recently decided to give it another try, and while the food was still delicious, service amazing, the price has significantly increased. I understand that costs have risen across the board, but at this point, it feels more like a splurge than a good value. The Yak and Yeti really impressed me with their buffet and it was definitely among the very best Indian buffets I have ever sampled coming in at a very close second place to the all time greatest I ever sampled (which sadly no longer exists). The food was amazingly very fresh and full of flavor making it even more amazing for a buffet with such a generous selection of so many delicious items. I loved the Arvada location, I had to check out the Westminster one. The Arvada one is better in terms of ambiance and looks, but this location is just as good for food quality and the menu (I believe) is the same at both places. We tried a few new items we've never had, including the Momo dumplings which were great! I was happy to try both locations and I am excited to go back and try more items! read more

Indian Buffet is back baby! They have both lunch and dinner buffet prices, as well as the ability to order all menu items. I love to dine in, the decor is traditional and kitschy, and service is stellar. Your water is always full haha.
