The restaurant offers both inside and outside seating which is great as the building is quite small but well appointed with an Indian motif. We arrived between lunch and dinner and were seated and served quickly. The food is fantastic and arrived shortly after ordering. The restaurant fills up quickly so either make reservations or prepare to wait as the food is worth it.

A small restaurant in the heart of Estes Park, not to be missed! I can imagine how warm and comforting the momos would be after a day out in the cold. Service was friendly, and all the food came out at a great pace. Everything from the naan to the chicken was warm, perfectly spiced, and flavorful.

We came to Himalayan Curry & Kebob on a Saturday for an early dinner and the place was bustling. Parking was easy in the plaza and the ambiance was basic but clean. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the daal soup (lentils), the chicken biryani, chicken momo, and a side of raita. The soup was good and tasty, however the biryani was dry, lacking the delicious meat juices that make this dish desirable. Similarly, the momo were crispy but the filling was quite unremarkable. Overall, a solid place if one craves Indian or Nepali food.

Their food and curry are just so tasty and their service is fast and clean, absolutely better than the Nepal restaurant at Estes park

We were craving something warm after an icy Sky Pond hike today, and this food hit the spot! I ordered a chicken momo soup and requested it be not spicy. When it arrived, it was so spicy I was literally breaking out in a sweat. Our sweet waiter came to check in on us and asked how everything was. When I mentioned it was good just spicy, she was kind enough to offer to take it back and make it less spicy/ more brothy. It came back just right. These were not the best momos I've ever eaten, but they tasted yummy and satisfied my craving. My boyfriend felt the same out his meal. Next time I'm back, I would love to try the lentil soup! The restaurant inside is fine, but the one sketchy part is the bathrooms! Recommend you use the public bathrooms in Estes rather than the ones here. Very pleased with the service and our choice to try this place out!

Food was delicious. Way above expectations. Had the fish curry, hot. Heard other people being afraid...? Conservative? Ordering what they were comfortable with. Don't. If you're ever going to expand outwards this is the place to do it.

Tried take out and it was very solid. We split the the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer and garlic naan - I was stuffed after and flavors were very good and hit the spot for my Indian craving

We were passing through town during a cross-country road trip decided to stop here for a late dinner. We love Indian and Himalayan food and were super excited for this cute and cozy little spot. Unfortunately, there was a lot wrong with our experience. We were seated rather quickly, but once seated it took forever to get a server's attention for just water... much less ordering. We sat at our table for fifteen minutes before being acknowledged and still had to remind several passing servers to bring us water, which came out ten minutes after that. We ordered our food as soon as the water hit the table. As we waited for our meal, I took my four-year-old to the restroom, which was exceptionally dirty. Overflowing trash, wet floor, broken paper towel dispenser. The food was just alright, if not bland. I ordered the lamb kebob with no spice, but that shouldn't mean no salt either. The vegetables were undercooked and the lamb was chewy and rubbery. The chickpea "salad" is just plain chickpeas. I opted for garlic naan, which had no flavor at all. We also ordered the chicken korma, which was okay. Much better in terms of seasoning. Sometimes I blame myself for ordering the "wrong thing" on the menu... but if the name of your restaurant includes the name of a specific dish, that dish better be the best thing on the menu.

This is one of my all time favorite Indian/Nepali restaurants nationwide. The food and service are always incredible. The menu is very GF and/or vegetarian friendly and works for groups with diverse food needs. I recommend the samosa appetizer, it's a good size for the price and absolutely delicious.

If you haven't made it to Himalayan Curry & Kebob, I highly suggest you do. Everything we ordered was delicious. I got the Lamb Tikka Masala (Hot) and it was the perfect level of spiciness. The restaurant is a little small inside but it also has outdoor seating which would be perfect with the views. The service was friendly and quick. Our party of 6 was all happy with everything we ordered (which includes 2 kids). Make your way and try something (possibly) new.

Fueled by curry--it's their mantra, it's on their shirts, and after one bite, it was basically tattooed on my soul. This little spot is tucked just a couple steps off the main drag in Estes Park. Blink and you'll miss it--which would be a tragedy, because this place is legit. One of the local shopkeepers pointed us in their direction--thanks, Steve. (His name probably wasn't Steve, but it feels right.) The service was warm and welcoming, like they actually wanted us there--unlike the first place we tried, where we waited for menus and water until it became clear the waitress had no intention of ever returning. I had the chicken kabob--tender, juicy breast meat served in a sauce so good I briefly considered licking the plate. (If we weren't in public, I probably would have.) L had the tandoori chicken and went silent for five minutes. He does that when he's emotionally bonding with a meal. I've learned not to interrupt. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable. Props for the dog-friendly patio--Milo was living his best life, soaking up attention like a tiny furry celebrity. Do yourself a favor: take two steps off the main drag and get fueled by curry. You'll walk out full, happy, and seriously considering a curry tattoo.

The restaurant had a big outdoor dining area which we needed since there was a dog in our group. The waitstaff was quick and we placed our orders very quickly. I had the fish curry dish which was good but the daal soup was too watery and lacking flavor. The plain, garlic and cheese naans were pretty good. My cousins lamb Kashmiri was good in flavor but too chewy, needed more cooking time. The drinks were pretty decent too.

Value for money for sure! $10.99 for lunch special thali choice between chicken mango curry/ tandoori chicken/ chhole / aloo gobhi + rice + breads + small side of boiled chickpeas and a sweet ( kheer). Our server shivani was welcoming and great to talk to! No wonder this place has great reviews!!!

Does this restaurant actually do curbside pickup? We called several times and it just went to a voicemail box that is full. It's not curbside if you have to go in to order.

I'm not sure. All I know is that it is small, busy, and good! We had to put our names on the list, go shopping, then come back.

Locals came in and you could tell they knew the owners and this was their go to restaurant! That is always a good sign! The food was served quickly and all fresh and delicious! The naan was the best I have ever eaten. Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Panneer were plenty for the 3 of us in our group and we all savoured the flavors! We also loved the vegetable samosas! Sorry no pics, they were immediately inhaled when placed on the table! I enjoyed a mango lemonade that was really sweet and I would order it again! Perfect balance of flavor and heat, and they even made it extra hot for me without me asking this time. We came in for our second visit and the guy working recognized us from before and remembered I like it spicy, so he told the kitchen to kick it up a notch. That kind of attention is awesome and the result was easily the best vindaloo I've had in Colorado. My wife had the saag paneer, which was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, and the kids ordered butter chicken, which she absolutely devoured. Always a good sign when the kids' plates come back empty. The food is fantastic, the spice levels are legit if you ask for them, and the staff clearly care about their customers. We'll definitely keep coming back. If you like real flavor and real heat, this place is a must.

My lunch buddy and I both decided to get curry combos, where you get to choose an appetizer, a dal, your curry, naan, and dessert. Oh, and it comes with papadum and rice. It was so much food! We could have shared one combo and both been very satisfied, but at least this way we were able to taste more things. In my combo I had: chicken momos, desi dal, a chicken curry (I forget which one - it was the one the server recommended when I said I preferred mild/medium spice), rosemary naan, and gulab jamun. My friend started and ended with the same appetizer and dessert, but otherwise chose the dal makhani, chicken vindaloo, and garlic naan. We both had chai to drink. Everything was so good! I have to say that I was glad to have asked for mild/medium spice - it was right at the edge but not over my tolerance level. If there was a reason not to share combos it would be because we'd fight over the momos - it was a good thing we had 2 orders. Both dals were tasty, but I think I will stick with dal makhani in the future. I wish I could remember which curry I had because it was unlike anything I've tried before and delicious. I had a taste of the vindaloo, too - I enjoyed the bite I had, but with the spice level I couldn't have eaten a whole serving. The gulab jamun was the best I've ever had - completely soaked through with the syrup giving it the most delightful texture. My lunch buddy likened it to homemade. The service was helpful but not overbearing - offering opinions on the menu when asked, checking in to make sure we were happy, explaining a little bit about regional Indian food (eg the inclusion of Indo-Chinese on the menu), etc. It was nice that the owner stopped by to thank us for coming in, and that our server kept the chai flowing. I could have happily sat there drinking chai and enjoying the calming ambiance (on point with beautiful blue walls and light fixtures) all afternoon if there weren't the small matter of having to go back to work.
