All the rave reviews are spot on! This place is legit. We ordered one bbq combo meal to share between the two of us after reading others' reviews and it was plenty. We also got sauteed dried green beans which were superbly seasons, steaming hot, and crunchy. Beware of the jalapeño though. Very spicy! Even the rice was chewylicious! Especially with meat drippings. Everything was so reasonably priced too. All the ladies are so welcoming and speak excellent English. We left happy and full! read more

So happy that this space is now an amazing Canton style restaurant. Great portion for the price and amazing customer service. All the employees were so nice. We ordered beef chow fun, water spinach w fermented tofu paste, green beans, soy chicken and roast pork, all to go. Still had leftovers today for a 2nd meal. I also love their rice as it's not fall apart like your typical southern Chinese restaurant style. Definitely refreshing to see how well they cooked their rice. Such a clean restaurant too. Glad to see Thousand of Woks transitioned to Thai/Sushi and now Chinese BBQ, give them a try! The BBQ chef has been doing this line of work for 30+ years, shows in his craftsmanship. I was skeptical about this place but our usual place was closed. After seeing reviews on a FB group, we decided to stop by (especially since it's 12 min away). It's located in an awkward spot where it's not necessarily a plaza. The parking lot is quite small. They're brand new so they're still working out some kinks. It's operated by a family. You'll hear them speak in Cantonese and it sounds just like my childhood in the San Gabriel Valley. While they don't have an officially sit down service, you can order your food and sit down and eat it. Plenty of tables. You can also order from the kiosk. Very friendly staff. Food was actually quite delicious. The usuals are good such as the duck and charsiu pork. However, I highly recommend you get the soy sauce chicken. It's just seasoned so well. Really tasty chicken. The 3 combo rice bowl was a lot (good to share between 2). The jasmine green teas drinks were pretty good. They're on the sweeter side but I didn't hate it. Their pickled veggies were also tasty. I do like that they give you actual vegetables when you order a rice bowl and not a dried broccoli. Overall, very tasty and we will definitely be back. read more

I am half Chinese, born & raised near China Town in Bangkok, Thailand. Love Chinese bbq since I remember. Tasted different brands Chinese bbq in Denver. But, China bbq are difference: 1. Clean, nice service, self order at the Kiosk, or at the registration. Tidy bathroom. You can see some of the food and esp. Chinese bbq when you first walk in. 2. Their roasted pork is my most favorite. Very crispy, juicy, tasty & not oily at all. Then, the roasted duck. Very moist, well seasoned, tender with no duck smell at all! Then shoyu chicken is literally melt in my mouth. Garlic&pepper shrimp also very crisp, well seasoned & not oily. Last but not least, stew beef is out of the world my favorite. It is very tender, flavorful & so delicious. 3. $18 before tips & taxes for three meat combo plates and their addicted sweet, vinegary radish & carrot pickle are so unstoppable. I want to try everything. They just grand opening on Saturday & I went there twice already. Highly recommend if you like Chinese bbq. This is a new gems in Westminster. read more

We were just driving by and thought we would give it a try and I'm glad we did. The food was very delicious and had large portions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice and clean and very well kept. I'm not normally on this end of town, but I would definitely stop by again if I were. read more

Incredible experience last night trying out the new China BBQ for a late dinner. Super friendly staff, tasty and fresh dishes, and everything reasonably priced. This place NEEDS to be on everyone's radar. As a Westminster resident who is pretty picky about our food scene, great Chinese food in the area is pretty sparse. This spot gives me something to look forward to every time I have the itch for authentic Chinese. My wife and I had the Crispy Pork, Soy Sauce Chicken and Fried Chicken (they ran out of BBQ Pork and Peking Duck because of it's popularity), Spicy Cucumber Salad, Sesame Balls, Lo Mein, and some fermented veggies. Truly was a fan of all of it, at first I was disappointed about not having bbq pork, but that disappointment went away with my first bite of the crispy pork, as the skin was perfectly crispy and the soy sauce chicken flavor was fantastic. And no exaggeration, best sesame balls and cucumber salad I've had in all of greater Denver. The Lo Mein that was displayed out front looked a bit old and dried out, but they made sure to make us a fresh batch of it as soon as they noticed the same thing we did, I didn't even have to bring it up to them. Really appreciate the hospitality! As this building has switched from business to business over the years, I really hope people discover that the new China BBQ here is worth everyone's time and money, because they deserve to stay. I got food to go. Order the Yu Choy and it was DELICIOUS . Very light and the little broth that sits in the bottom is very flavorful! They held their crunch. It paired perfect with Shrimp Stir-fried noodles. The noodles were lightly salted and were cooked to perfection. The shrimp added that extra little crunch (which i love) , the egg was also fresh and tasty. Orange chicken had a great sauce, although not my favorite it was worth a try. The Red Braised Pig Trotter would pair perfectly with fried rice. I would advise the regular crunchy pig if you want to avoid sodium. Overall this place will have me coming back for seconds! Excellent. Portions are generous. Food options include a variety of authentic selections, as well as some dishes Americans are more familiar with. Food taste and quality is top notch. Great value for the price. Also noticed that, of the calculated tip options, the percentages are appropriate for a take out place. I think the options were 12%, 15%, & 18%. The food was authentic and delicious! The staff were so nice! I really like their shrimp fried rice. It contains a lot of clean, sweet huge shrimp! My son had a combo and loved it. He was also raving about their canned Tea called Walovi herbal tea. The recipe is almost 200 yrs. Old! After our meal he bought another can for the road. I really liked their canned pickled veggies! Their bbq duck and meats looked juicy and crispy! We will be back. We didn't order any but they had boba tea.,Give them a try and support your local mom and pop! read more
