You just need to give two weeks notice to cancel so basically the minimum you can pay is $44 for a month! I'd say it's well worth it if you didn't have to pay for the damn kids to come with you! They have a small weightlifting session and yoga classes very easily. You could make this a gym if your main intention was to be healthy and have fun. Come and give it a shot. Need more unique business is like this opening up in our area.

My body had not bounced…read moreback from pregnancy in the way that I had hoped and a year after giving birth via c-section I felt like I still looked 3-4 months pregnant. Carrying my ever-growing child had become painful in my abdomen and I overall felt like pregnancy had wiped out my strength and confidence in my body. My efforts to remedy the situation myself had proved fruitless. My initial consultation with Jessa was enlightening -- she saw and understood so many things about my body and its condition that I would never have figured out on my own. Over about six months and 8-10 sessions (mostly via Zoom), Jessa crafted and incrementally enhanced an exercise routine to build back my core strength, straighten my curved spine, and resolve my mommy pooch. After a few months, the results became obvious and encouraging. I have not historically been an "exercise person" and approaching a personal trainer felt intimidating. I appreciate that Jessa met me where my knowledge and skill level was at, took the time to explain the exercises and their purpose, and adjusted the program to accommodate the amount of time I had to realistically spend on exercise during my busy days as a working parent of a toddler. Working with Jessa helped me regain a sense of agency and ownership over my body that I had lost during the experience of pregnancy and I'm grateful to have found her.

As Jessa's been teaching more and there are more regular students, she's expanding into even more challenging sets that focus on inner and outer thigh work, glutes, hip flexors, and... burpees. :) My abs have never been this strong, and I can definitely tell that I don't jiggle much at all when I go running on my non-Mod Physique days. Jessa is supportive, insightful, really knows her stuff and is there to assist and correct so that everyone is using their best form during the workouts. Come give this amazing combination a try!! Easy location to park nearby; new facility, super-helpful and supportive staff. The Yoga Barre is my happy place!! I've been going to The Yoga Barre for over a year and I am still completely addicted! The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and give you either a killer workout or a relaxing yoga session, depending on what class you sign up for. The studio is small, and clean, and calming and the class sizes max out at 12 people. Also, I so appreciate Danielle's (the owners) approach to personalized whole body and mind health, and will remain a student for as long as possible! read more

I am a little stunned by some of the reviewers here mentioning stinky carpets, unfriendly atmosphere, and rude/unhelpful teachers. I have been in sessions with a variety of instructors and not one of them have I considered them arrogant or oblivious to students' needs. They all have various styles and personalities, which is the beauty of it. Also, I had a c-section and I was grateful that the instructors would advice me on modified poses. Then I subsequently hurt my shin and again I got recommended adjusted poses from the instructor -- one of the best advice was from Mary Ellen. And stinky carpets? You gotta be kidding me. I think the only STINK I ever experienced was from my overly noxious neighbor who ate too many onions. I'm actually really glad that they utilize carpets in this yoga center providing a safe, skid-free floor to perform poses on. I've been to bikram yoga centers where they have creaky fans and old rubber flooring which is a catastrophe in itself. At least everything functions properly here and they maintain a clean facility. I also appreciate that the instructors recognize new students by name before class begins and at the end of class by applauding them for staying and trying. I'm looking forward to continuing my practice here at this hot yoga center.

He leans over you to get a closer look at your "form" while intentionally dripping his sweat all over you. The other instructor was nice & welcoming, but AVOID Aaron. The studio is carpeted (unhygienic) and unfortunately the smell and sound of prior strangers' sweat squelching underneath your yoga mat is an extremely unpleasant. This studio is spacious and I really would have liked a better experience, but will not be back due to Aaron's lewd behaviour and poor attitude.

I tried the Pilates class and then the spin class. Both of which I enjoyed. I loved the heat and my heart rate went up. I got a great workout and good sweat out. Once you join you get to track your calories and afterburner calories too. I like knowing how much I burned and you get free stuff the more calories you burn. Bailey helped sign me up and explained everything in great detail. She was really great and provided a very welcoming and supportive environment for me as a new member. She's always there to answer questions or explain anything if you need it. I wish the workout videos were not the same everyday. I really hope they can rotate the instructor videos so that there are multiple different ones through the day, just like Peloton. I love workout out here. There's also a full weight training area as well!
