The owner, Heather, has created an authentic container for community and transformation, offering space for growth that extends far beyond the physical practice. There is nothing accidental about finding yourself on your mat at Renew. The distressed hardwood floors and cracks in the walls reflect our shared imperfections, while the beautiful murals speak to boundless existence and unity beyond duality. From Kirtan-led classes with Shane to events that invite recognition of the soul through dance and energy, the entire studio experience is rooted in depth and connection. Nestled on the second floor of a storied building in the heart of downtown Petaluma, Renew is not a place to be missed--it is where peace, community, and transformation meet. It is a space where pain, laughter, triumphs, and struggles are welcomed equally by teachers and facilitators alike. If you live in Petaluma or are visiting, it's well worth stopping in for a class or event!

The studio is upstairs from Old Chicago on Petaluma Blvd. Heather curates a stunning space from entrance to yoga room. There is a 10,000 Buddhas mural by Amanda Giacomini that is a gift to sit under. I find it easier to be present practicing amongst the beautiful crystals sprinkled throughout with a wood floor and sky lights. The sound system allows teachers to use a microphone so it is easy to hear. The majority of the classes for flow focused, but many offerings to adapt for your preference. I hope you get to enjoy a class here.

She finds the spots in my body that are tight or tense without me even having to tell her. And she's so kind, present, and passionate about what she does. You can tell that she really cares about her clients and she wants to make sure you are comfortable. I can't recommend her highly enough. I also did the 6 week hypnotherapy series with Robert and it was a game changer for me. I was previously experiencing a lot of anxiety, frustration, and stress. It became obvious to me that something needed to change and I've previously tried different method of healing (therapy, journaling, meditation, etc) so why not give hypnotherapy a shot. Robert helped me to learn that relaxation is our natural state and how to help myself calm down if I am feeling overwhelmed. He helped me realize that I can change. Honestly I'm a more present parent and I feel happier and healthier overall.

I received an email shortly thereafter as a confirmation and was provided important details of the event. It was very informative and appreciated. I received a reminder email closer to the event which was nice. The event offered a pre-sound bath gathering which I was very excited about. Location is on Silverado trail with street parking and a parking lot in the back. I arrived 5 minutes before gathering and was immediately greeted by the lovely Melanie. I had the pleasure of speaking with her before everyone arrived. She was kind, sweet and has a soothing voice. She was able to answer all my questions. I used the restroom before we started and it was clean. While she continued to set up, I sat down for some tea while others trickled in. The space indoors was beautifully decorated, clean, organized and so welcoming. It was a warm and comfortable environment and the people were very friendly. We sat and chatted about our intentions for a few minutes then headed to the mats to begin the sound bath. In addition to the mats that she provided, she had pillows, a blanket and an eye mask for each of us. We were a group of 9 individuals. The sound bath was relaxing, calming, and brought this feeling of relief. Everyone's experience would be different which is why I definitely recommend trying this if you haven't. If you have, it is worth coming back to! Our lives become so busy so this was nice to reset my mind and body. This was a great event and i can't wait to try other services/ classes.

The community here is fantastic! Completely non-judgmental, full of fun, down-to-earth people, and instructors who somehow make suffering in the heat actually enjoyable. I've been coming for 3 years now, rotating between hot Pilates and the classic 90-minute Bikram class (a true test of body and willpower). I started coming because I wanted to find a community that shared my values of health, fitness, and wellness. When you first walk into that hot room, it can feel intimidating, like, "Wait, I signed up for this on purpose?" But trust me, everyone starts somewhere, and you'll quickly realize you belong. Lynn and Jeff, the owners, are legends who have built something special with their three studios (Petaluma, SF, and Berkeley). I go to the Petaluma location. The vibe is great, with lots of friendly faces and the kind of heat that makes you question your life choices for 10 minutes and then thank yourself for the rest of the day. You'll walk out stronger, more resilient, and maybe a little addicted to the sweat. Just don't forget a big water bottle and a sense of humor. You'll need both!
