Went here with my girlfriend. I had a 4.0 experience she had closer to a 3. We called and asked for a couples massage and when we got there it turned out they didn't have a room that could fit two so we were separated into separate rooms. Which is about 5or 6 curtain style rooms. Would have been nice to know that it was singles. Massage wise: I had the deep tissue and noc definitely earned her tip. I have an extremely tense back and prefer a harder style and when her fingers couldn't get in there, she asked if I wanted her to step on my back. I accepted and she was extremely delicate and gradual on applying pressure which was really nice. My girlfriend got the Swedish because she has a sensitive back. She was able to adjust pressure and liked the kneading pressure. It was right down the middle for her experience wise. Price: The menu that says 60-70 (a month ago) on here Is old and it's now 70-80. This is a small hole in the wall treasure in Burbank. I went in for a 60 minute deep tissue massage for some knots and neck and back pain. Jazmine was my masseuse and she did a thorough and excellent job. I can finally move my neck without hearing cracking and feeling pain. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and are all very polite. I had a gift card for a massage (one of two I bought during the holidays, with my hard-earned money), had a Swedish massage, went to pay with the gift card, and she says that I owe her more because they're under new management. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The front desk staff was kind, professional, and welcoming, but the massage itself was one of the worst I've had. My therapist was not a great communicator. I asked her three separate times to reduce the pressure, yet she continued working at a level that was clearly too intense. What concerned me most was that I was visibly tensing up and even shaking from the discomfort, but there was no adjustment made. I understand that Thai combo massages can be more intense than traditional Swedish massage, and I don't mind firm pressure. In fact, I'm a former massage therapist myself. However, there was absolutely no warm-up work before moving into deep tissue techniques. Proper tissue preparation is essential, and skipping that step made the treatment unnecessarily painful rather than therapeutic. I left feeling sore and uncomfortable for days afterward. It was extremely disappointing, especially considering the cost of the service. I really wanted to enjoy my experience, but unfortunately it did not meet even basic expectations for communication, pressure adjustment, or technique. read more

My daughter treated me to a body massage at this place..I am so grateful that I finally found the best deep tissue massage. i am sorry I did not get the name of my massage therapist. She was excellent! All my knots and pains were relieved. she gave me an option of either soft, medium or hard.. I always preferred hard and she was excellent. I attempted to book online the night before it stated a discounted price of $63 and when I tried to check out the price was bumped up to $70 (I still paid the $70 not the $63). I called the following day multiple times to get a hold of someone to make an appointment for a massage plus hot stone. The initial interaction was very normal with the front desk staff. I can't say it was super clean spa since the previous spa I have been to give you shoes to change into at the front door. The hot stone was completely forgotten about, the front desk lady front to even tell the masseuse about it. The massage was okay nothing amazing. However, when I went to pay at the end the lady at the front desk expected a minimum of 30% "suggested" tip. And she was giving me the stank eye and asking if I'm sure about what I want to tip. I left her know I'm tipping based off service. She then proceeded to ask in a condescending voice, "then tell what your service experience then". If you paid your staff living wage you wouldn't be forcing people to pay 30%+ tip. Why don't you increase the prices because this seems like you're forcing and cornering customers to pay this. At this point it's not a "guideline" or a "suggestion". Tip is based off the service and the amount you're asking for is paid when you go above and beyond. One star for the masseuse being nice and a second star for taking a note of your previous injuries on a form. Edit: added to the interaction with the front desk and response to the owner. If you believe tipping is what makes your staff "fairly compensated" your wages are low. Not trying to be rude but that's just a fact. Let's do better, fair compensation is not on the customer. read more

I tried their combination treatment, and at the time, I wanted something a bit more firm, so I wasn't completely satisfied with my choice of service, but that was all on me. It promised a relaxing massage, and they delivered. The second time I went, I knew I needed to choose a treatment that was a bit more intense, so I chose a 60-minute thai massage and boy did my massage therapist worked me. iI've followed Gigi from her previous salon to Zensai, and I can confidently say she's the best in the business. She knows the human body like some kind of wizard. Every massage feels deeply intentional and effective. You never have to worry about pressure being too light; she gets it right every time. I recently went to ZenSai Spa for a deep tissue massage after I had pulled a muscle in my back from exercise. The receptionist who answered the phone was very friendly and was able to book me the same day. The price was reasonable ($80 for a 60 min massage). This spa has a wonderful and calming ambiance. There is serene music playing, and the inside is very nicely lit, and relaxing. The place also seemed pretty clean. My massage therapist was pretty good. She really dug deep into my muscles to get the knots out. It was a very nice massage and my back felt better immediately after. I really haven't had pain since. I purchased a gift card for my friends birthday for a massage. The worker was super nice and happy to answer all my questions. The ambiance is what this expect, relaxed and zen inside. It's so clean, quiet, private rooms, candles, the lady at the front desk is so kind and helpful. I also love that they have you fill out a sheet with your areas of pain beforehand. So professional and I can see how they have almost five stars, although it should easily be five. Not the best and they were closing at 7pm tonight I felt rushed and the inconsistency on the masseuse was not great at all. She went from deep to light so quickly, after I told her to keep at deep level. I did not leave feeling happy nor my body relieved from stress. Tonight they made me pay up front before I got the service, I had to pause her there because I wanted to use the restroom beforehand, she was ready to walk me into my room mind you a little before 6pm which was my appointment time. During my session, I overheard a walk in customer arrive ask for service and apparently it didn't happen for the client because I heard the other worker decline to do it, and as she was leaving she whispered "bye" to my masseuse and I didn't like that, it's disruptive to my session. When I was done, the lady was ready to go home. And I felt that this visit was a waste of my time. If I paid for deep tissue, then please perform deep and I'll let you know when to lessen the level, not the other way around. Nit a happy client at all. read more

Love hole in the wall places and found this through yelping for nearby massages. Delighted that this was open on labor day! Perfect for the long weekend. This is located in a corner lot that's kind of difficult to get into (complicated intersection) but there are many available parking spots. It's on the 2nd floor of a complex shared with other businesses. Quiet and simple inside, with the lobby separated from the waiting area connected to the rooms. Water is provided for afterwards. Arranged for a couples massage and thought we'd be in the same room (since I saw a picture of 2 massage beds together) but we were separated, oh well. Opted for the 60 minute swedish. WOW, the actual massage itself was amazing. I didn't get my masseuse's name but she was excellent, really worked on knots in my back and my neck, but also worked my arms and legs intensely. I loved it and felt sore after but so much better and relaxed. This place definitely warrants its 5 star review, definitely will be returning! read more

I only had to call a day ahead and booked a 60-minute combo massage. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Sai who gave me a quick form to fill out and showed me to my room. The spa was clean, well decorated, and had a really relaxing ambiance to it. My masseuse was Mimi and she was incredible. This was my first time experiencing a Thai massage and wow had I been missing out! I told her upfront I like gentle pressure and am sensitive in my lower back, so she took that into consideration the entire massage. She also asked where I would like her to focus the massage on. Upon arrival, we were asked to fill out a form where we could mention if we had any pain or if we needed special focus on specific areas. Unfortunately, it seemed like this information wasn't communicated to my masseuse because she didn't follow my requests. I had initially requested a combo massage, but it felt more like a Swedish massage. Even after I told the masseuse where I wanted her to focus, she continued with the Swedish technique. I wasn't completely satisfied with the result. I shared my experience with my friend, and to my surprise, her masseuse provided a Thai massage focused on the areas she had mentioned. Her masseuse even asked her for input on where she wanted the focus. It's interesting how everyone's experience can be different, and, in my case, it wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped. read more
