My massage therapist was very sweet, but we ended up talking for most of the session, and it felt more like an unexpected therapy session for her rather than a relaxing experience for me. I had really been looking forward to unwinding, so that part was disappointing. The space itself was clean and smelled amazing, which I appreciated. However, although I was in an enclosed area, it wasn't a fully walled room, so you could hear everything happening outside. It happened to be quiet during my visit, but I can imagine it being distracting if it were busier. The pressure was very superficial and nowhere near what I would consider "deep tissue." I've had much better massages for half the price. The massage was fantastic but I think the pricing is kind of bonkers for the setting. For comparison, this place is MORE expensive than Ra Organic Spa, which has private rooms and other amenities Serenity doesn't. You're not in actual rooms so you can hear other people and the light from the front isn't shut out. Hopefully they start offering eye masks or something for when you roll over. They also have a membership that has a pretty wild break even point; other establishments offer a membership where you pay monthly for a massage AND receive a discount on any treatments beyond that. This place it's just... paying for a discount? I don't totally get it. Again - the actual service was really lovely but I don't know that their price point really makes sense. read more

I went to Serenity Luxe because I needed a deep tissue massage to help my stiff neck. I've been dealing with neck issues for over 20 years and massage is my only relief. I went and saw Ruby for a one hour deep tissue massage and it was the most amazing massage I've ever had. Yes it hurt because it was deep tissue, but it hurt in the way that tells you she's helping your muscles and connective tissue and tendons. I can't recommend Ruby or Serenity Luxe enough. I will definitely be going back for the lymphatic drainage along with another massage. They now have a customer for the life of the business. If you're looking for a really good, thorough, healing massage I highly recommend trying them! read more
