They discussed several material options with us, but also spent time explaining the advantages of copper gutters. I really appreciated that they weren't pushy about it, they simply explained the pros and cons. The copper option was fascinating to learn about. Not only does copper have an incredible lifespan compared to other materials, but it also develops that classic patina over time which actually protects the metal while giving the house a really beautiful look. We had always noticed copper gutters on older high-end homes and historic properties but never realized how functional they are as well. They explained that copper resists corrosion extremely well and, when installed properly, can last decades longer than typical gutter systems. It was a no brainer and the copper is what we decided to move forward with. I really appreciated the fact that they treated the project like a long-term solution rather than a quick installation. The finished result looks fantastic. The gutters blend well with the house and, most importantly, they actually work the way they should. Brent of "TheEnd Seamless Rain Gutters" gave me a very reasonable quote to replace my existing gutters that leaked and looked terrible, but I had always been hesitant to get new gutters as my eaves had wood rot that required replacing and, the new wood would need sanding, priming and painting before installing new gutters. To my surprise, Brent advised that his team could do all of that and so we made a deal. When his team arrived, Aaron, the supervisor of the crew performing the work, was courteous and articulate as he fully explained what the team would be doing and he fully expected to be done before the day was over, though I thought it would take at least two days to perform. Their work included removing the old gutters and hauling them away, cutting out the wood rot and replacing the same with new hard wood just like a framing contractor would do, and properly cleaning, sanding, priming and painting the boards before hanging the replacement gutters. When Aaron said they were done (in about 4 hours), I thought that was impossible but the new wood was installed, primed, painted and the brand new gutters were installed and looked beautiful! Brent's team is a group of highly skilled workers that are laser focused and perform their jobs as if the house they're working is their own.
