The installation crew was efficient and did an outstanding job, even suggesting the elimination of a downspout that they felt would detract from the front of our home. Received a few quotes to add 3 sections of gutters to our home and MTZ Roofing & Gutters came in competitively priced and initially had availability within my desired time frame. Marina answered phone calls and emails promptly. Rogelio came out to provide an estimate - he was on-time, prompt, and efficient. He also took measurements with a tape-measure, where others did not. Unfortunately, there were a number of unexpected delays - timeline below. - Estimate completed on 11/17/22 (I had wanted install completed in December). - Installation scheduled 12/15 - Notified 12/15 would need to reschedule for 12/19 - Notified 12/16 would need to reschedule for 12/23 due to overbooking on 12/19. - Installation complete 12/23 The installation itself went smoothly and the pair of installers cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. They properly pulled out drip edges to flow into the gutters as well. Unfortunately, two downspout ending elbows were incorrectly ordered. They had ordered two A-type elbows instead of B-type elbows. Where installed, the selected elbows emptied water directly into a planter adjacent to the foundation of our garage. The installer noted this (as it was inaccurately ordered from the estimate) and said he would get the proper elbows ordered and come back to install them. -1/3/23 notified installer would come the next day to install proper Type B elbows. 1/4/23 installer replaces elbows. After he leaves, I notice the elbows are a shade lighter than the existing downspout color (Clay). It is noticeable that Type B elbows of a lighter from-factory color were spray painted with Clay-colored paint to roughly match the existing downspout. This is apparent due to overspray within the elbow and differences in factory vs. spray paint surface texture. The inside creases where the metal is bent for the angle are also of a lighter color, unlike the other elbows on the downspout which are Clay colored through-and-through. It is dishonest to say the appropriate part will be ordered and installed - even though the replacement part is "good enough" from a distance. All in all, working with MTZ Roofing & Gutters was very straightforward. However, due to the need to reschedule multiple times (perhaps out of their hands) and lack quality upkeep at the tail-end, this is a definite 4-Star review. read more

Stay away. I should have followed the other reviews who said they just don't show up. I didn't because those were quotes that they bailed on. This time they ghosted on the actual work to be done. The project involves a home remodel (not gutters) and the activities have to take place at a specific time in the project. Eduardo said he would be at my place on Friday or Sat to do the final measurements, install what needs to be done before stuccoing, and begin the work Friday he changed to Monday. Monday morning I texted him for confirmation on what time he would be here. Monday later afternoon I left a voicemail and Tuesday morning another text. Never heard back. Contacted his office to make sure there wasn't an emergency = nope, he's working. Again, this is a project that involves a specific timeline. Getting new bids and scheduling work takes time and not something I have, since the full project involves a general contractor and is in the middle of their work. If he doesn't want to do my project, I'm fine with that. I'd rather pay someone who wants to do the work at my house. But he should tell the customer so they can make other arrangements instead of leave them hanging. NOT COOL! read more

I read all the reviews for this company. There were some that complained about them not getting back to you (YELP, email, phone, text). NOT TRUE!!! I contacted them for a simple gutter installation, 18 feet total, so not a big job for them... not a big money maker for them! They got back to me quickly, gave me a quote on yelp. I called them direct, to schedule an installation. The owner came by the same day to inspect and confirm pricing and installation. They scheduled an installation for the following week. The crew came ON TIME, and were polite and informative. They installed the gutter in less than one hour and did a great job. I did contact other installers through yelp, but their quotes were twice to three times higher than MTZ. After several days of making several calls and leaving messages with their voicemail, did get an estimate. And to say the least it was done extremely well as I love my new roof!! I let them know I take care of my mother in law as she needs homecare.
