After that the lady that was massaging my wife left the room and a male walked in to complete the massage for my wife. No consideration was given to us and the male that came in made my wife feel very uncomfortable. She stopped him and asked for the female massage therapist to return, and then waited about 15 minutes without any word about the lady returning. My work is busy enough that I really don't get breaks that allow me to go for a walk or even stretch out, so despite exercising in the evenings and on the weekends, my muscles get very tight because of my largely sedentary job. Shannon seemed to know exactly where my tension was without telling her, and she was able to quickly liberate my gnarled up muscles with her nimble, strong hands in just one visit. It wasn't painful either. She let me relax quietly to the soothing music she had playing in the room, and afterward gave me water and plenty of time to wake up and get dressed. She is a unicorn in a world full of people who can give you a "massage". She is a true massage therapist with the skill and resume to back it up. A Swedish relaxation massage has its place but that is not was I was looking for, I need the good pain, coach! I needed someone who could get in deep and release months of knots made of knots. I was immediately impressed by her presence and service and was instantly put at ease when she asked if I would prefer to spend the whole hour on my trouble areas. Happy sigh. Yes. That is exactly what I want. Throughout the session I was impressed by her skills and knowledge. I would dare to say it was one of the best massages I have ever had, and I have had A LOT.
