The massages are a 5 star rating. For sure. Business practices are the cause for the 4 star. They're definitely not up to date with invoices capabilities if you need that, but they can hand write a receipt. They don't have a fancy scheduling system, but they're going to do their best to get you taken care of. And once you're in that bed or chair - nothing matters anymore. You are their focus. I have experienced two masseuses here - they were both intuitive and asked for preferences and pressure intensity regularly. Had a second massage (90 minutes) with Xiao-Xiao on 28 October 24 and a third massage (90 minutes) on 30 October 2024. Our communication gap is lessening. The quality of the massage is increasing as she becomes more familiar with my chronic issues and the degree of pressure that I can handle in different joints/areas. I prefer early evening appointments as they fit my schedule better. There is little noise from the State Line traffic or the neighboring businesses. I made a comment about the office chatter during my first massage and that aspect of therapy massage environment has gotten significantly quieter. It would certainly help if there was a person responsible for greeting clients rather than the therapists having to stop the massage to answer the door. My fourth massage (90 minutes) was with Judy, the business owner, on 4 November 2024. She performed a relaxing neck/scalp massage before working on both sides of the spine; significantly different than Xiao. Judy expertly found the tender issues in my low back (L3, L4, L5, and S1) and spent an appropriate amount of time on the abductors. After the flip, I received a fantastic facial massage which quickly opened the sinuses (another stark difference from Xiao). Over the course of the next 45 minutes, Judy displayed her proficiency while massaging the abdomen and the adductors. Judy quickly adjusted her pressure when massaging scar tissue (another skill that Xiao needs to master). I have given Therapeutic Massage 4 opportunities to impress me. I know that I am not the easiest client to work on as I present many technical/medical issues. Judy and Xiao-Xiao have passed all of my tests with flying colors. The location is always clean, and professionalism is mandatory. The men and women are traditional Chinese trained therapists and are the most capable I have found anywhere. They will create a special treatment plan for you. I have never been asked for a tip at this location, but that doesn't mean you can't tip, and I would encourage you to try them. Was here a year ago. Gave bad review. They contacted me and asked me to come back. Unfortunately I did. I paid for a one hour massage and after 45 minutes, she said we were done. They tried to up charge me for hot rocks at $30. I have had at least 100 massages in my life. This is the only one where I was massaged with face down but never turned over. I have learned my lesson. This is the worse place I have ever been! They are unprofessional, yelling to each other from room to room while doing my massage. I had burns on my back either from the hot stones or the cupping. And my daughter forgot her fitbit watch there and 30 minutes later they said they didn't have it, yeah right! It was a valentine's day's gift for my wife, we are hosted in a couple room, which was nice that my wife and I could talk when we are enjoying the massage. The light and the music were just right, which lead us just want to relax and escape from our work. Two masseuses, I can only remember one's name. The price was worth the visit but I had no clue what to expect. I spent most of the time scared and cold because I had no blanket, just a crappy towel - and that was only because I asked for something to cover up with otherwise I think I was just expected to lay there completely naked. I've been having a lot of tension in my neck, upper back and right shoulder due to my desk job so I decided on a deep tissue massage. I didn't get he name of the lady who attended to me but she was amazing! Perfect pressure, not too soft not too deep, and she really worked my shoulder and my lower back which I had no idea I even had pain! I did feel a little awkward with the buttock area, but it was much needed. I'm still having some pain and soreness but I expected it since it's chronic pain. I had their 4 handed massage and was very disappointed. F,irst, they couldn't speak hardly any English. It took us a couple minutes of confused pointing and gesturing for them to figure out who I was and what my appointment was for. Then during the massage, every time the front door bell would ring one of my massage therapists would leave to go see that client...leaving the door to my massage room wide open while I was covered by nothing but my underwear. I don't think one of the massage therapists had any training. She just sort of randomly rubbed with no pressure at all. And they never asked if I was comfortable with butt or stomach massage. They just did it anyway, pushing my underwear almost completely off. And since they didn't speak English, I couldn't just tell them I didn't want it. They might be okay for a chair massage, but I would not recommend having a fully body massage here. read more

They also have better prices than any other place I've been to ($50 for 60 minutes, $70 for 90 minutes). My only complaint is that it can be difficult to communicate exactly what you want... I've come here several times. I highly recommend it. The price is fantastic. I haven't had a bad massage at this location yet. The only down side is communication may be a problem. Most of the women working here do not speak English very well but enough to get by. And, if you have an issue with modesty you may feel uncomfortable. They only use a large bath towel vs a large sheet to cover you with. I have hip/joint pain - so, I personally like "butt/hip" massage. The location is great, it's clean, the ladies are very nice and do a great job. For $50 an hour, I can't really complain . Where do I start......well, first off my foot massage was shorted 5 minutes. My therapist left and another one came in. I guess the first one I had, had to leave and massage another customer. So, at the end I was overcharged, because I used a credit card. The person that charged me did not inform me of this charge, nor did they have a sign posted. I don't like being overcharged, if I am not told why I am being overcharged. I also felt that she was pretty greedy, because she hovered over me to see if I would leave a tip or not. Honestly, it was pretty uncomfortable and she said "since you didn't leave a tip on your credit card, will you be paying for your tip in cash?" My husband also had gotten a massage and he said he just wanted a massage for the price of $50.00. He paid the cash amount of $50.00 and left a tip. She then comes running out into the parking lot and said he owed $60.00 for a deep tissue massage and he didn't even want that. He had made the appointment for a regular massage at $50.00. So then she has us come back in and charges him more! Never going back! I even contacted them about all of this and they never responded. They are greedy and watch what you get charged. read more

I got injured in my massage. I went in for muscle release of a tight back so that I could better exercise. I was having no pain before the massage. The therapist did not speak English and spent an hour just on my neck pushing very hard on the muscle that supports my head on the right side. It hurt intensely while she worked on me. At one point, I had her go get the translator to voice that it hurt. I should have left because I felt I was being maimed. For the 10 weeks after, I've been in the same pain as I felt in the table and it continued to worsen over time. I went to the chiropractor and was told I had ribs out below the neck in my back. I have been 4 times now to repair and stop the pain. I asked him if this could be a result of the massage I experienced and he said yes, it could be a result from her pushing too hard. This has been very upsetting, painful and frustrating to say the least. I have been unable to work out for almost 4 weeks now and may have more trips to the chiropractor. read more
