I was suffering from horrible after-effects of vertigo and had constant motion sickness and all that fun stuff. I was referred to Magda through an ENT and am super glad I was. She understood the condition, knew the exercises, and listened to how I would react or feel day-to-day. I had tried a previous PT place for vestibular therapy but they had no idea what they were doing. Magda specializes so if you need to work on balance and the inner ear, I definitely recommend coming here! We even explored further and realized that my anxiety over the problems I was having caused me to clench my jaw and tense my neck and this was continuing the horrible feelings of "ear pressure". She worked on different aspects of all my symptoms (instead of just focusing on vestibular therapy) and took care to make sure that she addressed all my concerns and reactions. The environment is comfortable and Magda is friendly and knowledgeable. I'm glad I was sent to TheraPhysical, because I don't think I would have improved as quickly or as well if I had gone somewhere else! I had to bring my mom to TheraPhysical after she broke her hip and shoulder. I will highly recommend TheraPhysical as the most professional place that I have ever been. Words can't explain how greatul I'm for my mom therapist Priyanka who make sure my my get the best treatment when various of exercise and lots of encouraging words. It has been 5 months that I have been getting treated here at TheraPhysical since I had my right shoulder surgery and I have to say that Maggie and the staff members here are simply amazing. I have tried other physical therapy places and nothing is compared to TheraPhysical. Very clean atmosphere, lots of parking and lucky for me very close to home, also love their scheduling. Maggie already knows what days work best for me, so I don't even need to remind her on what days I can come in, she already knows & has me down for my set time. I was in a car accident that left me with excruciating pain in my left shoulder. I struggled with this pain for 3 years, even after seeing many orthopedic specialists and doctors. Maggie is amazing and has helped that pain subside! She is extremely professional, knowledgable, and accomodating. She always has an appointment available for me and works with my schedule. The facility is new, clean, and state of the art. And there is a parking lot across the street. Maggie's approach to treatment is well rounded and not only uses exercise equipment, massage, electrodes, and heat, but also teaches you exercises that you can do at home or at work. She is extremely knowledgeable and I was surprised at her ability to pinpoint the painful areas in my upper body just by touching and massaging. I just took a chance and walked in one day , yes it's close to home, which makes it perfect ! But the warm welcome from the front desk is great , my first time their I was very impressed! After spinal surgery, I began therapy with Maggie. She is a very friendly and caring person. She listened to my concerns, and, along with my doctor, designed a care plan to fit my needs. I have also seen two other therapists there; an effortless continuation of care. The therapist takes ample time with me and I never feel rushed. The facility is clean and comfortable and has the latest equipment to help treat all types of disabilities. The exercises vary with each visit. I was not forced to endure anything that was too uncomfortable; just substituted another exercise. I was also given exercises to do at home to facilitate my recovery. TheraPhysical on Outwater Lane in Garfield is the REAL DEAL. They're helping me tremendously with multiple concerns. The therapists are excellent in that they are knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and kind. I never feel rushed or overlooked. Therapists assist each other and work as a team in the best interests of the patient. The receptionists are also very courteous and efficient. Scheduling is easy and insurance issues are handled quickly and efficiently. TheraPhysical also offers vestibular therapy to assist with balance and dizziness. I have been at many therapy offices and TheraPhysical is by far the best I have ever been at. I was in need of therapy for my neck pain. M. Buczek was able to schedule me on a short notice for the very next day. I was not expecting much at first but I was immediately impressed by Priyanka's level of professionalism and knowledge. During the first visit she gave me a thorough evaluation and after some therapy I felt relief! She also showed me strengthening exercises. I've been to plenty of physical therapy places in my lifetime. I must say that TheraPhysical has been the best therapy so far. You see it as soon as you walk in and meet the coordinator she is so friendly and efficient and will go out of her way to help you in any way she can.
