Very large waiting area with plenty of seating. Doctor was on time and very personable. Doctor was able to offer a plan with concrete next steps. All complex imaging procedures can be done onsite at their facility. Lots of specialty areas covered within the practice and well known for sports medicine. Several of the docs here are team doctors for CBJ. Also, this practice does not require a referral from primary care so it makes getting an appointment so much faster.

I'm…read morevery specific when I give my insurances on how they were billed etc. On July 14, 2023 and again on July 24,2023 I stopped into their billing office and told them if they billed correctly I should not receive a bill because Tricare for Life is a wrap around for Medicare and whatever Medicare doesn't cover Tricare for Life covers 100%. When Tricare for Life is billed either correctly or incorrectly I get notified staying they covered xyz amount or they state due to x probably they didn't pay and I'm not responsible for the bill because of their error. ortho one states I owe $283.61 and never billed Tricare for Life and since we're now rolling into 3 years after the fact----Tricare for Life will probably tell them to go kick rocks. I have NEVER received any correspondence about this from Tricare for Life which means they didn't bill. What's sad is these places are notorious for partial billing and sticking the patient with what's left over-----why accept $75 from Tricare when I can bill the patient for a higher amount of $284.61 I've explained it to them repeatedly and yet they still have not billed Tricare for life and yes they accept Tricare for life. Sad really. I currently have a text stating I owe $284.61 and it's their error not mine

I am giving the Billing Dept. a -10 (a minus ten) even though that isn't an option…read more I showed up as a walk-in for lab work. No appt. necessary. The COPC lab on Africa Rd. in Westerville, is basically for walk-ins. After arriving, I waited and waited but I didn't mind because I am a patient person. Quite some time later, I was told that I had been called right after I checked in. Where I was, I would have heard my name called and I would have seen the lab employee. Never saw anyone looking for me and I never heard my name called. I was told the lab employees were going into a meeting. With people waiting to be seen, that was odd that they would have a meeting on the spur of the moment (ad hoc meeting). I had no idea how long the meeting would be and no one told me. Since I wasn't feeing well and had already waited quite some time, I needed to leave. Two MAJOR Concerns About the COPC Billing Dept. on Africa Rd.: 1. Shortly afterwards, I learned the COPC administration office charged me $25.00 saying I was a no-show which was untrue. I was there and I had checked in. 2. I do not trust the administrative office or the billing dept.! Also, I learned from a COPC employee in the Billing Dept. that their billing dept. charges a patient for lab work prior to the visit being processed by the insurance company. Not ethical at all. That is one reason healthcare is in dire need of reform!!! Note: The woman who checked me in wasn't friendly or welcoming. I had a very unpleasant experience with her. If you go there for lab work, you may wish to speak with one of the 'first' two ladies at the check-in area. They're names are Rebecca and Moona. BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO TO THE COPC LAB ON AFRICA RD. BEST NOT TO PAY ANYTHING 'AT ALL' UNTIL YOUR VISIT IS PROCESSED BY YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. On my online COPCmychart account, COPC Billing Dept. was charging me and expecting payment right then, even though my insurance company hadn't had time to process it. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING THERE.

The complex has several offices for various functions; when I got to the "lab draw station" there were a few people waiting, and a sign that said blood draw patients might have to wait awhile. Okay, I have time, and it needs done. Waited about 10 minutes. Staff up front and in back were super friendly and professional. Draw was quick and easy. Over before I knew it. I'd definitely come back here for another test, or an appointment.

You could easily miss this place as it is situated in the Fleet Feet Sports store. I've gotten…read moreshoes at Fleet Feet before hoping to help my foot and leg pain and really appreciate the level of customer care they give when I noticed people going into the PT spot. I had gone to another PT place which didn't improve the situation and a couple of doctors so I took a chance on this place and happily they accept my insurance. I really really like the fact that all of the therapists in here are into sports so they know that if you are a runner, etc. where it hurts and that you want to get back out there. They gave me an initial free consultation where the therapist, Amy, listened to me and really cared. It is a small place with capabilities of maybe 3 patients at a time which means you will get the attention you need instead of some of the bigger places where the therapist gets you going on an exercise and then isn't even in eye sight to tell you if you are doing it right or not. Everyone here is kind and knowledgeable and everyone (patients included) gets along and commiserates with each others aches and pains. I actually enjoy going here and have to say that while my foot and leg are still not totally back in the game, I am improving! YES!

Although we are only 3 hours away, we realized during that visit, three hours was way too far to effectively take care of Mom and Dad. Mom has always taken care of everything for Dad. My father has Parkinson's disease. It wasn't until this last visit that my husband and I could clearly see just how badly an extra set of hands was needed for my father's care. We interviewed three Home Health Agencies and without a shadow of a doubt, the entire family chose Assisting Hands. Not only were they competitive from a price standpoint, they were one of the few companies with the credentials we were looking for. We even met the caregivers who would be working with mom and dad before we had to leave to head home! I talk to Linda (Mom and Dad's Caregiver) nearly every night and she feels like a member of our family. I haven't seen Mom and Dad this happy in a very long time. Linda, Mom and Dad, go on outings, the house looks great, mom and dad are well taken care of and my husband and I are actually sleeping at night without worry! I love Assisting Hands and we have sent everyone we know struggling with similar situations to Assisting Hands!

We had the biggest decision of our lives, accept a job that would be an unbelievable opportunity for my wife, the kids and I, or turn down the opportunity to stay in Ohio with Mom and Dad. My parents were excited for us and the new possibilities our my career decision could give my family, but they were in denial about how much care my wife and I were providing by living a block away. Dad suffered a stroke in 2010 and his physical condition had really limited the things he could do. Mom never had a driver's license so my wife took them everywhere during the day and in the evenings, I was responsible for transportation. We never minded caring for them; it became second nature for all of us. I saw a commercial for Assisting Hands Home Care and it felt like the commercial and their services were reaching straight out to us! It was as through the stars were aligned and I was meant to see that on TV. It was on a Saturday but I called the number. I couldn't believe, I actually got a live person who had the ability to come out within a few hours of the call and coordinate a complete plan with all of us. The owner even called me herself later that evening and we talked for almost an hour. We had two weeks to get into temporary housing for my new job yet we had everything figured out within 24 hours. Mom and dad were somewhat resistant but after meeting their caregiver, it was like this was just the way things were meant to be. Although we are further away, wither my wife or myself manages to come up one weekend a month to stay with my parents. They look better than when we were taking care of most of their needs. Although we didn't know it at the time, I think the stress and large responsibility weighed on all of us when it was my wife and I as the sole care takers and in turn, my parents had so much guilt but knew deep down then needed us. Assisting Hands has given us all peace of mind and comfort in their services! I love the company, love what they do and would recommend their services to anyone who needs the help!
